Right I have been thinking what I could do to help POTC - and I am going to do something that really works and that being hundreds of miles away makes no difference to- POTC I want to 'pray you through' your meeting with ss. What time is it on Wednesday? And does anybody want to join me?

Oooggs, I have to say my girlies are fab atm. Becky is a handful still, but she is pretty helpful and very caring towards Katie.

Katie is my angel baby. She is so incredibly happy 99% of the time.

I love them both to bits .

hi mj - I missed your post earlier! yes I hope he is ok - has had medised and milk and is sleeping like a baby (whoever said that has never had babies like mine )

Pillock - wtf is going on? ffs there are so many other things SS could be doing instead of getting involved with a fab mum who looks after her children brilliantly. Makes me so but feel very that you have to got through all this x

mj - W is feeling v rough too, and won't go to nursery tomorrow. Hope F gets on the mend x

We discovered yesterday that our roof has a leak. Suppose it was a blessing in disguise that the bathroom ceiling was already down and we discovered it. Luckily for us a good family friend is a roofer, and will fix it tomorrow. But even though he's doing "mates rates", its still eating into our bathroom budget. Must keep repeating mantra "it will be worth it, it will be worth it"

K has a cough as well and I have to say it is driving me nuts - has been going on for weeks. Doesn't seem to bother her as such, but wakes me up.

have read thread since my last post but am a bit put off by the appearence of eandh, cheeky mare,trying to sell your stuff But TBH she buys so much most of it's probably unworn or worn once BTW I didn't get a text and as you've probably gone to bed by now i'll text you about the colours! On the off chance you are still about its multicoloured this week

Oh and yes her dh is normally a bit, erm, like everyone elses and I suspect her mum did do all the work as her and her mum are very similar

I know I'm probably over reacting but can you get some legal advice?
Do you have dates/times/names for the above? Anyone to back them up?
I know i'm overreacting, it's just my natural reaction would be to show them what a tit he is rather than tidy my house to "prove" anything iyswim?

Grr at the Housing guy Ellie, WTF is he playing at? I hope you're going to complain about him not turning up to meet you. And surely if Housing has concerns about the state of the house the first things to do should be to write to you/speak to you. Has he ever met your kids?

I'm sure that when she visits you the social worker will realise that there isn't a problem. And also that those of us who don't really do praying will think of you on Wednesday afternoon and hope to hear that all went well and Social Services have turned their attention back to families with real problems.
