Can I have one please?

How is DD2 tonight? Did you get eurax? Great stuff

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 22:59

he's a temp Katy, when i got to the office they said he does some days there and some elsewhere, he was due to be there but wasn't and no one knew why.

Nursery have been contacted too, they got a phonecall today and told SS they have no concerns. how would they know where the boys go?

CaptainDippy · 04/02/2008 23:06

@ these people, POTC xxxx

DD2 is ok enough - bought Eurax, wonderful stuff!

Off to bed, night. xxxx

AngeG · 04/02/2008 23:08

Glad she's a bit better and you've got the Eurax.

Hope you have a better night

xx

elkiedee · 04/02/2008 23:16

Don't know the answer re nursery, but at least their response should go in your favour.

You can temp as a busybody? I think SPB's suggestion is right and if he's a temp and is making these unfounded allegations about you, that's another reason to complain, I think. IF there's really a housing management issue - you're not really an antisocial neighbour are you? (I can't believe that you are) - then he should contact you and give you a chance to resolve the situation.

oooggs · 04/02/2008 23:24

yes I know I'm still up

dh isn't home yet

ds2 woke at 10pm so I changed his messy nappy - smelt like someone had dies in my bedroom [yuk] the then slept on top on me for a bit and had terrible wind so was writhing [poor boy] then a really bad thing happened and he needed a complete change of everything, nappy, sleepsuit & grobag.

He is now muttering in the travel cot, so I am waiting for him to drift off.

NorthernLurker · 04/02/2008 23:27

eeek Oooggs that sounds bad! Hope you get off to sleep soon.
POTC - that's a bit creepy re nursery isn't it? But as Elkie says - at least you know they've had some positive feedback.

oooggs · 04/02/2008 23:28

ellie - how did they find out where the boys go?????? what else do they know??????? anyone closer to home who has shopped you??????? J's dad???????

NorthernLurker · 04/02/2008 23:31

That's what I was wondering Oooggs - the sw said something else though didn't she - but maybe she was trying to muddy the waters?

AngeG · 04/02/2008 23:33

Oooggs if I'd realised it was you on MSN I'd have said hello, but it's usually DH at this time. Hope DS2 settles.

Off to bed now, night allxx

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 23:35

I did wonder that myself, the housing guy was here because I have rent arrears, and I had to give them Nursery details as part of the benefit claim, but I would expect that to be confidential? J doesn't know which childminder I use, but the housing form had the details, so will contact her tomorrow and see if she had a call too.

oooggs · 04/02/2008 23:36

no worries Ange, I should be in bed! yes it would normally be dh at this time - sleep well x

NorthernLurker · 04/02/2008 23:36

well that would settle it for you wouldn't it? Hope you get a good nights rest

Good night all

It really is just like the Waltons round here you know!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 23:37

the sw was a student, very nervy, with a shouty arse of a boss in the background (she really needs to learn where the mute button is!) so i don't think she had any ulterior motives. she said housing had put in a referal and that they were concerned the house was in a poor state. he is the only one to have been here so it had to be him.

oooggs · 04/02/2008 23:37

there are so many people out there who do need sorting and whose children probably do need the help of social services.

oooggs · 04/02/2008 23:38

got to go dh is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 23:38

If Jo (the cm) had a call then I guess that's where it came from, if not I will bew wondering more. M's records must be easy to get as he gets gvmt funding but J doesn't.

Octothechildherder · 05/02/2008 07:17

POTC nutters

This isn;t J's family or someone causing a stir is it?

If I lived closer I'd come and help sort the house!

Ernie fed 4 times v tired!

Eddas · 05/02/2008 07:51

CD I don't suppose 'your' babyshop sells handysitt's does it? Am looking at getting one for ds, thought i'd ask!

still can't believe what's happened potc utter nonsense.

hope everyone's not too tired today, sorry to hear you were up a lot octo. DS seems to have settled back to sleeping til at least 6.30 after his illness. AND he's drinking all his milk again so that makes me feel better No juice still though, but I can't have everything

Maveta · 05/02/2008 09:14

Morning, very to hear your news Ellie, I just don´t understand how someone can report you when they haven´t seen your house or met your boys. Beggars belief.

Hi Octo and Eddas!

I think my washing machine has died. We bought it second hand for about 100? over a year ago so it´s not even worth calling someone out to try and fix it. We have known this would happen but it´s never a good time to have to fork out 500-600?, is it? {siiiiiiigh}

StealthPolarBear · 05/02/2008 09:47

Morning

CaptainDippy · 05/02/2008 10:08

Oh POTC It is going to be fine - You have nothing to prove sweetie. xx

Nope, shop doesn't sell Handysitts, I am afraid Eddas - I am going to work there tomorow morning & they said although they can't pay me, I can have anything I want for Trade Price - So I'll use tomorrow morning to have a nose and get back to you guys with what is available - I know POTC wanted a Doidy and there was a lot of call for sleeping bags so I'll let you know!

Arse to washing machine Mav

DD2 slept til 4am when she decided she wanted to go downstairs and have breakfast!!!! Needless to say, we didn't let her - Tanked her up on more Piriton and Calpol, applied copious cream and let her sleep in with us til 7.30am. I am tired! She and P are both sleeping atm....

StealthPolarBear · 05/02/2008 10:22

Quick question - i'm going to buy the no cry sleep solution book. There seems to be 2 - one for babies and one for toddlers & preschoolers. Does anyone have either of them? which one would be better for them at this age?

mammyjo · 05/02/2008 10:24

Morning all. Crap night here too, F just not settling due to coughing most of the night so I was up a lot. Lost count in the end. Oh well, hope for a better night tonight! She is still rashy, not better and not worse though so hopefully it will go soon.

CD, I would be interested in a girls sleeping bag if there are any up for grabs please!

Pillock, hope you are ok today

mammyjo · 05/02/2008 10:27

I dont know about that book SPB, but I had the baby whisperer one for babies. The older one was aimed at bigger babies than ours are IYKWIM. Have you tried that one? Thats a no cry type thing using the pick up put down method. Didnt work when I tried it with ds, but I know a lot of people have used it successfully.
