That's great Ria (love your new name by the way)

Would have taken me ages to start a new thread and link it - my chips would have gone cold!

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:31

mmmm chips

I've still got tons of chocolate in this house to eat before I can diet. I don't know whether to or

thisisRialifebaby · 02/01/2008 20:32

thanks, it just came to me. I am going to try out lots of "ria" puns!

can't be having cold chips. Yuk.

I still have chocolates which I bought in the Tesco Christmas Sale - last year!

And the Hotel Chocolate Sale in the Summer.

Perhaps I won't be joining Bumpers anti-consumerism thread

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:33

City not on TV tonight luckily...however I'm supposed to be talking to my students atm

There are definately football noises coming from the other room tho

thisisRialifebaby · 02/01/2008 20:34

I have run out of chocolate, and have eaten what I can get away with from the selection boxes too

I am just going to read bumpers thread...

blimey.....we're drowning in the stuff here...meanwhile the salad in the fridge is slowly going off

foxythesnowman · 02/01/2008 20:35

They are on the radio Norty. Is DH aware?

sputnik · 02/01/2008 20:36

So I bet at least 3 of you will be pg again this year!

Foxy, how can you be in the same house as all that chocolate?

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:38

probably not.....I shall let him know.....although he's on the lap-top so probably keeping up to date.....when they win I get the bed to myself and peace and quiet as he stays up for football first........I like it when they win....

DD has a vest on that says "Manchester City's latest little dribbler"

DKMA · 02/01/2008 20:38

LOL ria - 'hell in a blender'
I too felt inadequate when I read it - people quoting Freud etc??

Foxy - you've got a point - not that I'd have thought about it if you hadn't pointed it out - but thats prob me just being insensitive.

LMN - I bought something from them a while ago and was agast at how crap they were!
I bought a playpen with the matress they recommended to go with it. When it came - the matress only covered 3/4 of the base of the playpen which I thought was very unsafe. When I rang them to check they has sent me the right one - the woman kept talking over me when I was trying to explain - I got annoyed and asked her to remain quiet until I'd finished my sentence - she wasn't too friendly after that!
Turns out they had sent the right matress - which was crap imo.

Bloody hell - taken me so long to type / find new thread / copy and paste - think you've all prob gone to bed now!!

foxythesnowman · 02/01/2008 20:38

Because I buy more and more and more!!!

I want to be Gok'd!

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:39

God I won't be....although I have a secret broodiness atm....my DH would not be impressed!

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:40

Definately won't be getting my car seat from them then.....would rather pay the full amount....

auntymandy · 02/01/2008 20:42

does broodiness ever go? i want to look after some new born babies to try stop it!!

derlorisMonica · 02/01/2008 20:44

you can run bt you can't hide..........i found you

derlorisMonica · 02/01/2008 20:45

Foxy - you are so lovely and thoughtful x

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:46

Evening Derlor

milkyJammy · 02/01/2008 20:46

Phew! Had my tea and then couldn't find you all for a moment. Too confusing for me at this time of night

LMN that company sounds terrible! I'd definitely spend elsewhere if I were you. We (obviously) need a new car seat too. Toying between the Maxi Cosi Priori XP and Tobi at the moment.

derlorisMonica · 02/01/2008 20:48

evening - LMN, ditch that stoopid car seat internet company and shop elsewhere - they need you more than you need them - bet LOADS of places stock it

milkyJammy · 02/01/2008 20:48

I found myself broody while cuddling DD the other week. DH came in and I was almost crying "who'll cuddle me in years to come when she's all grown up?" Don't think will be having another just yet though.

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:48

Yeah I'm going to get one of those two haven't decided which one - I want a pink flowery one, but DH is being ever so practical....but what if we have a boy next time etc etc.....

milkyJammy · 02/01/2008 20:48

evening Derlor

derlorisMonica · 02/01/2008 20:49

oh great minds Jammy - almost word for word advice

LittleMissNorty · 02/01/2008 20:49

It was VERY cheap though - £230 in Halfords....these were charging £169 with free delivery
