Oh Jamantha - the itching would drive me demented..you poor thing! Do you have to be careful what you wear / wash your clothes and yourself in etc?

I have a bite on my foot ATM that has been there about 8 weeks and it itches still (I react quite badly to bites) and its sending me farking mad!

Jamantha · 17/09/2007 08:39

Not normally a problem with detergent, skin products etc Charlie (though have always used non-bio wash powder). But I had a nasty reaction to a (pathetic) virus last weekend and have been itchy since.

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 08:44

Ewww horrible reaction to have! We only use non-bio here as well as I am sensitive to all sorts of odd things like that....PITA

Right housework beckons.....what an exciting day I have before me.....

Jamantha · 17/09/2007 08:57

I (sometimes) love having friends that take a little time to get round to things - just got another "new baby" gift

daisyandbabybootoo · 17/09/2007 09:08

good morning.

I'm booked in with the doctor at 11:15. My left boob looks like someone has drawn all over me in red marker pen. Not very nice at all. I had a horrible night's sleep with it and feel like I have a dose of flu.

Couldn't get an appointment to see the lady doctor at our practice who is up on all thing BF, but have got one of the other (male) doctors. DH has taken the day off work so I can rest up (and to fix the toilet) so he's going to come with me as a chaperone!

My DD is trying tp push herself out of her bouncy chair this morning and is shouting with temper. She is a bit of a feisty one too!

Off to feed her again of the bad side...

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 09:27

Daisy - hope you get ok at Docs and get some antibiotics - sounds sore and painful . At least DH is around to help.

What is the "trying to fling themselves out of the bouncy chair" thing about then? I saw DD do that last night and assumed she was trying to turn over in there too .....she wore herself out earlier and is fast asleep again ....I could quite easily go back to bed as well.....

Jamantha · 17/09/2007 09:27

Hope appt goes well Daisy. Shame you couldn't get the doc you wanted though. And special hugs for putting up with so much! Also hope all things plumbing get sorted too.

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 09:28

get on ok I meant

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/09/2007 09:53

Good morning all,

Just got up - LO went to sleep before 9 last night, had quick feed @ 7am & back to sleep. Is it safe to say she now sleeps throught the night? In last week she's slept around 10 hrs solid every night. Still no daytime naps tho' but I'll try not to be greedy.

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/09/2007 09:55

Good luck Daisy. Sounds like you need anti-bio this time. Make sure you ask for thrush meds too so you're ready fot it.

loonylovegood · 17/09/2007 10:20

Oh daisy, you poor thing! I had mastitis last time and I so sympathise with you! Hope the dr isn't too hellish and you get better soon xx

Isn't it bloody freezing today? I've wrapped the kids up in winter clothes, they look really cute!!

I'm expecting some nappies today. I hope they come this morning, coz dp is home this afternoon and I shall be in deep shit if he sees how many I've bought!!

Wow Tallulah!! I bet you feel wonderful!

morning all, I'm back at home now... just need to take the car to be realigned, do the grocery shop, post some packages, meeting with the childminder at 1pm then cooking beef wellington for dinner.

Already done the laundry, cleaned the fridge and listed a load of stuff on Ebay. Anyone want to buy a bong?

I'm knackered. Didn't get home til 9.30 last night which of course cocked up DS's sleep routine. Bloody M25.

loonylovegood · 17/09/2007 10:45

Hey TA, I am not currently in need of a bong. Sorry! Bet you're glad to be home!

Daisy, just read your other thread. I found a pic of a tounge tied baby. This is what ds's tongue looked like. The flap of skin was right at the tip of his tongue before it was snipped.

Wow TA - you are on fire today!

Daisy, good luck at the dr's today. Feel for you having a crappy old time today.

Charlie, you were woken by an alarm?? Wow, that just NEVER happens when you've children! And congrats T on lo sleeping through.

DP and I had a cuddle and said sorry to each other. We are just tired I think.

Hope everyone else is OK today.

Ria, I can't find you anywhere on facebook. Can you invite me to be your friend? pleeeeeaaaase?

trendaverter · 17/09/2007 10:47

ouch!

Daisy sorry to hear about your boob pain You really have been in the wars with your norks. I hope the doc is supportive and you get it resolved.

bumperlicious · 17/09/2007 10:57

Ouch daisy, hope you are ok. If they give you AntiBs make sure you take some probiotics or some, you don't want thrush on top of it all!

Would it be wrong to eat my lunch now...?

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 11:01

Foxy - my alarm did go off at 6.15am....and DD woke shortly after!

Ria is on my friend list on FB - TS initials

Oh dear, crying baby to attend to......

bumperlicious · 17/09/2007 11:03

Foxy your advice needed!

foxybrown · 17/09/2007 11:37

foxybrown · 17/09/2007 11:38

Do you have all your children in the house that should be in the house? Do you have your clothes on? coz I answered the door to the postman in my bra the other day!

So, I've eaten my lunch...

bumperlicious · 17/09/2007 11:44

Oooh, mega ouch for your DH DG, how are you today, weren't you saying the other day how you hate driving? That's so inconsiderate of him , some men will do anything to get out of the washing up!
