Hot flannels Daisy?

foxybrown · 16/09/2007 20:58

DH is soooo annoying. We aren't getting on, just bickering and griping really. Am feeling uptight myself, just one of those times really.

I actually have nothing to complain about really, do I?

am just being uptight. Sorry.

daisyandbabybootoo · 16/09/2007 21:04

tried flannels, massaging, constant feeding, massaging whilst feeding, hand expressing, pump expressing, and it still feels like I have marbles in my breast.

this is now a fortnightly occurence and is very shitty indeed.

Will take myself and my misery off to bed!

daisyandbabybootoo · 16/09/2007 21:05

sorry to hear your having a pooey time of it as well. It seems to be endemic.

I think the menfolk are starting to think we should all be back to normal and are acting out because we're not!

foxybrown · 16/09/2007 21:05

night daisy, hope you feel better by morning. I'm off too.

BadZelda · 16/09/2007 21:12

Typical - the first night in 3 months that I haven't had DD glued to one breast and you all bugger off. Sleep well.

riabutterflew · 16/09/2007 21:13

have i missed everyone? its taken ages to get ds2 to sleep as he was busy trying to convince me he can't go to nursery tomorrow.

am heading off for a v hot sanctuary-oiled bath and glass of wine in a minute...

bumperlicious · 16/09/2007 21:13

daisy, sorry you are having such a crap weekend.

Foxy, everything all right? We are all being cranky with out DP's, don't worry. I was complaining to my friend about my fight with DH and she said "well really all that can be expected of you is to keep that baby alive. No-one should expect anything else from you at the moment. If you are doing that then you are doing everything you need to be doing"

bumperlicious · 16/09/2007 21:30

Ho bz and ria btw!

riabutterflew · 16/09/2007 21:37

riabutterflew · 16/09/2007 21:40

have just made fatal diet discovery - doritos and salsa are YUM!

bumperlicious · 16/09/2007 21:41

It's a quinny buzz. we got it from a german website as they had colours that weren't released in the UK. worked out cheaper than getting it here. My mum and dad both contributed towards it.

bumperlicious · 16/09/2007 21:43

The curly haired nipper is Faylisa's little girl. Yummy mummies? LOL!

bumperlicious · 16/09/2007 21:45

Just checking out facebook. Are you TP ria? I don't have you as a friend.

riabutterflew · 16/09/2007 21:51

sorry faylisa - my ds2 looks like that. SHE is gorgeous.

I am TS. I can't find foxy at all.

I am a bit dim...

loonylovegood · 16/09/2007 21:52

Evening peeps! Haven't caught up yet, just popping in to say hi and bye!

I've just been sent a mystery shopping assignment from this company. I get paid £12 to do a check in Swarovski + up to £45 worth of free jewellery! I have done checks for them in the past and they are really good and usually give you travel expenses as well. They deal with Swarovski, Diesel, Aldi and Ecco. The last time I did a Diesel one I got a free t-shirt!!

Sign up girlies and get paid to shop!!

Morning, dd is quite snuffly at the moment so we have had a couple of early mornings, and I'm knackered.

Proud mummy boasting alert! Today DD and I were looking at a soft book and not only was she getting very excited about looking at it (which she has never been before) but she got hold of one of the pages and put it in her mouth! She's never managed to put anything other than her hand in her mouth so far. And, she was sitting against me but kept trying to pull herself up in an upright sitting position. The kid's a genius!

On the down side, I found a cat flea on her this morning. We don't have a cat so not sure where it has come from but I feel all itchy now!

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 08:08

Morning All

Hope everyone's Los slept well....

For the FIRST night since I got pg - must be exactly a year ago now....I slept right through the night without a dog / cat / bladder / heartburn / bad back / baby to wake me up ....and would have gone longer if the alarm hadn't of gone off!

DD is lying on her blanket screeching and crying with fustration about not being able to turn over....she can get onto her side but not her front.....me thinks I'm going to have a child with a bit of a temper ...

Charlie999 · 17/09/2007 08:10

Morning Bumper - x post!

That's great re DD pulling herself up and getting excited. The first laugh is pretty special as well

Jamantha · 17/09/2007 08:30

Morning ladies.

Sounds good Bumper, my LO can sit up holding my fingers if I pull her upright, but hasn't tried it herself yet. But please don't talk about itching, my skin is still really sensitive and itchy, although the rash has mostly gone.

Am of full night's sleep Charlie. I had a particularly bad night, more because of needing to scratch than because of LO though.

Jamantha · 17/09/2007 08:32

btw Ria, even when I find you listed as someone's friend, it won't let me ask to add you to my friends - you must have your security set pretty secure? So I think you're going to have to ask others to be your friends instead. If you want to add me my initials are SW by the way. (Then we can scrab)
