It depends what sort of shape your dd is BZ and what you feel comfortable with. I personally think a Little Lambs nappy is the biz for runny poo! I've never had a leak yet!

We need to go to Ikea as well, we are in dire need of a new chest of drawers. Alas I don't think I could handle it atm!

I hate having my hair cut J! It's awful! Usually I just leave my hair in the fate of the professionals and they almost always get it right!

Actually it is very child friendly - from the cafe to the 'kids rooms' to the nappy dispensers in the toilets...which is why DD1 loves it so much. And it's not actually that hectic if you go on a midweek afternoon. But still reckon I'll give it a miss as otherwise I'll struggle to get back from north london.

As tonight is 'beer cafe' night, and we're babysitting (they're bringing kids round for a sleepover, so they can have a well-deserved lie-in tomorrow) would it be wrong to go to the pub with 4 children? 4, 2, 1 and 3 months!

BadZelda · 14/09/2007 08:59

Thanks Holly - I'll look up the little lambs nappies. Nice as flame seems to be, don't think I'll be buying any more nappies as delivery seems rather flaky...

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 09:14

LOL Holly, I would, but I just got six yesterday . I'm after some size 2 nippa cotton terries like tots bots if you have anything like that! I love little lambs, but they only do velcro fastening don't they?

My dishwaher arrived this morning..

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 09:17

Glad I'm not the only one who gets perturbed by hairdressers, Holly. I don't feel so bad with my currant one. Even though she's a young, skinny-minny, type she doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. I just don't know what I want.

4 kids at the pub? Maybe not wrong, but the word mad springs to mind (in the nicest possible way). But then again, I'm a novice at childcare, so what do I know?

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 09:19

Do it BZ, after all it won't be smokey!

I'm really excited about all the nappies I've just bought! How sad am I?

Ohh I like IKEA - always spend a fortune when I go there!

BZ - my DH is a Scotland fan and he is still going on about the footie now and how he wished he'd taped it. Think the whole street knew they'd scored - DD nearly jumped out of her cot .....he's mad about all sport...golf....rugby....anything....lucky me

Oh Daisy...have to do LOADS of cooking today and sit back and enjoy not having to wash it up

Hope you appt goes well Jamantha - my mum is a hairdresser, so she always does what she wants anyway with my hair ....luckily it always looks OK

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 09:20

I think Little Lambs only do velcro, but you can pick it off. I'm not a fan of velcro either. The 15 bambineos I just bought are all velco, but I'm gonna pick it all off!

BadZelda · 14/09/2007 09:26

Hey nice work Derlor! Yes, DH is from Ayrshire...never seen him so happy about football EVER! Still sounds quite unusual, them beating the french...

sputnik · 14/09/2007 09:27

liking the new thread title
Well DD went to sleep ok yesterday in the end and Baby Sputniik went from 8.30 to 5.30 Don't think DD managed that til about 18 months!

Daisy you are a saint for not shouting at your DS last night, our meltdowns are mild by comparison and consist of her crying inconsolably, she's not actually hostile (give her a couple of years)

Charlie, sounds like you need to do GF on your dog

Have we reached the 3 month ikea spurt or something? DH went yesterday but they didn't have the booksshelves wwe want....

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 09:27

I am so glad DH isn't into sport

BadZelda · 14/09/2007 09:28

Actually it's a v child-friendly pub with a big garden full of toys...so not as dodgy as it sounds. Hmmm

derlor · 14/09/2007 09:29

hey you watch it!! .....your ALL running scared now huh!!!!

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 09:30

You're very lucky Jamantha

Its the American NFL or darts that really pisses me off......I have my limits when it comes to sport...cricket is pretty crap as well..I am quite looking forward to CBeebies being on all the time....sure its more exciting than golf

derlor · 14/09/2007 09:30

oops your should be you're

derlor · 14/09/2007 09:33

i was going to go to mother and baby this morning but i can't be arsed. Not sure i'm ready to be that sociable! i'll just stay here with you lot instead, much nicer!

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 09:39

I use T-Mobile derlor, have done for years. Their FLext tariffs are really good as they have no set amount of calls or texts you can use in a month, it is flexible (as the name suggests)! How much is your line rental atm? What do you get for that?

andiem · 14/09/2007 09:41

morning all sorry haven't been around much RL has been a bit hectic. Dh came back after being away for week and wanted attention not sure why

am feeling pleased though as went to buggyfit yesterday which was good other mums weren't too yummy mummy (can be a bit like that where I live) and were all equally as lardarse as me

have also bought organised mum calendar as having trouble keeping track of all activities

can't believe you're all still discussing nappies just go for the landfill he he

also noticed mn was getting a bit heated so stayed well clear of all that

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 09:44

Ok am just going to whisper this then run away : 9:15pm - 7:45am !!!!

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 09:46

Attention eh Andiem ....

Was thinking last night we hadn't seen you for a while...

Right off out to lunch with friends who haven't seen DD yet, but have bought her the most gorgeous highchair....I dressed her all pretty and frilly then she done a huge puke over me as well

See you all later x

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 09:46

Bloody hell Tallulah! You must feel great

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 09:49

derlor...I just got a Nokia 6300...it is lurvely and has a big screen, MP3 player, Radio etc. Camera is only 2megapixels though. I've found that Nokia is the easiesr for texting, as they seem to understand the need for punctuation and it's all on one key!

I saw we'd beaten France Derlor ....but had to watch the poxy England game here....

I second Little Lambs for containg poo explosions...they are the biz.

I doubt I'll be using the dishwasher any time soon. DH is a look at a job from six different directions before commiting kind of guy. If it'd been up to him we would still be choosing which one to buy.

derlor · 14/09/2007 09:49

oh Holly thanks, i'm looking at the T mobile website now - am liking that flexi thing i could save a flippin fortune
