My dp asked if he went and bought me a bottle of wine would I be drunk enough to do it? I said fuck off, but you can get me some wine anyway! He said no !

He wins Twunt Of The Day T, though sputnik, your DH deserves a runner up prize for that move. And they wonder why we don't put out

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:45

No T YANBU! My dp won't take the dcs for jabs, but he sort of has an excuse! He would pass out!

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:45

not unreasonable at all T. Its hard, isn't it? a lot of responsibility on your own.

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:46

T - no, YANBU.....bloody men!

Right rugby has finished apparently so off to watch Eastenders and Hells Kitchen

Night all

sputnik · 14/09/2007 21:46

They are such sensitive little twunts creatures aren't they? Of course they need protection from that kind of thing

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:46

LOL at the cheeky of Holly's DH!

OK, I'd better go and make stilted conversation with DH. Night all x

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 21:46

Holly u should said yes, necked the wine & then passed out drunk & incapable leaving him to look after the dc.

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:47

and we thought the days of pissed shags were behind us!!

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:48

Well I'm off to bed. Hope it's sunny tomorrow, and that DD is in a good mood. (And that I stop itching soon! It's much better but still driving me slightly nuts)

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:50

N'Nite J. Enjoy the bed to yourself!

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 21:54

holly, I was going to say exactly what T said!

apparently DH came with me when DS1 had one set of his jabs. I have forgotten this. He has not been since, nor has he taken any of them alone. He has started taknign the DCs to the Drs though - I can't posibly take them when DS3 might need feeding anytime!

lets find more DH/DP faults - it's fun

what do you think they see as our faults - apart from the sex thing?

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 21:56

what are the points for pitta pizza bumper?

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:57

I think my dp thinks my main fault is my lack of housework skills, but then he knew I was a messy cow before we moved in together, so he'll just have to deal with it!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:58

Oh, I'm controlling Ria. because I tell him not to wash DCs arse THEN their faces with the same flannel! I'm always right, always do things perfectly, blah blah blah (probably goes on but have switched off by then!)

trendaverter · 14/09/2007 22:03

can I be really boring/smug/annoying?
My DH is lovely, I can't even find a nitpicking fault with him...
hmm ok when he cleans the loo he doesn't always do a very good job.
Shall I shut up?

Off to bed night all x

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 22:03

Nagging - which means asking them to do anything useful.

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 22:04

He cleans the loo???????

Badly or not - He cleans the loo?????

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 22:04

Yep - shuddit TA!!!!

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 22:04

alway face first, arse last.

I worry about EVERYTHING, and possibly nag (surely not), also I think he finds my derpression a bit annoying at times. Plus my willingness to let him buy me wine so I'll get frisky and then fall asleep. But I'm much nicer than his first wife so I think he mostly counts his blessings!

sputnik · 14/09/2007 22:05

Mine is paranoid because everytime time he comes near I minimize my browser window! He thinks I am looking aat websites on how to get your man to do everything you want. I told him no, I can already do that (didn't want to tell hiim I am discussing poo stains on mumsnet)

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 22:07

I think that's why my dp loves me so much ria, because I'm sooooo much nicer than his first wife. She's a bitch!

OP posts:
sputnik · 14/09/2007 22:08

Ha! Mine just emptied and filled the dishwasher

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 22:08

... and there's so much of me to love

Men are SO easy to maipulate

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 22:10

Lordy, I have been on here all day. DD sleeping on my lap, time for me to go to bed too.

Night all xx
