I'll scrab Bumper.

When for Bristol? i'm due a visit back to see my gran.

trendaverter · 14/09/2007 21:20

I have freshened them up, they are just ooollldddd. Still, to be expected.

Just pissed off as the nappy lady classifieds has been taken down, I have them listed about everywhere else though!

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 21:21

dead impressed daisy, I get MY dad to do most things in our house, DH tries but I'm sure my dadis better and more reliable. I also do football, DH doesn't get is, but he can cook...

what's up TA?

I think the pain becomes a bit rose-tinted, until you get to about 30 weeks of PG then it comes rudhing back and you start to think "oh fuck whay have I done"! I seem to remember feeling a weird smugness after DS3 was born, I knew it had hurt but it wasn't that bad (even though it was) - does that make sense? I did feel a bit silly when the girl in the next bed (who had an epidural BTW) was going on about why on earth the other women were screaming so much. (I think that might have been me, but I didn't get my water birth so I think I was allowed to make a noise - surely?)

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:22

Ahh JBM - I felt really bad when DD had her jabs - so know how you feel. I felt like crying in there...but the bloody patronising cow of a nurse already thinks I'm a "stressed out mummy" (which I am NOT) so I didn't want to be carted off and bit my lip ....it is bloody hard though putting them through that

Oh fish and chips sounds nice....took myself off to Sainsbury's at 7pm to buy a curry for dinner tonight as I couldn't be arsed to cook...and spent £35 and filled up the freezer

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:23

I can prob do Bristol. Let me know when and I'll see if my godmother can come and get me!

Fucking brilliant!! I just won 4 Motherease wraps on ebay for £2.20!!

Daisy, this might be worth a try.

Oooh, Plush pants. They're near us, that's where we bought our nappies from. She's a very nice lady that runs it.

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:30

I actually feel bad that because we've been given a load of nappies we won't be buying any more from her.

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:30

I had yummy pitta bread pizza today. Wholemeal pitta, spread with passata and low fat mozzarella, yum!

Holly, you have to come the furthest, when is good for you?

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:32

Can I polish your halo Bumper?

I have almost all of a 4 cheese pizza and half a packet of dough balls but yummy

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 21:32

Oh did I miss the ' my partner's a twunt discussion' ? Not fair

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:32

That sounds very healthy Bumper!

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:32

Ummm...not sure. I'll speak to my godmother and see when she is next down here. Her mum still lives in southampton, so she is here quite a lot. I'll let you know.

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:33

Go for it tallulah! I certainly did earlier!

OP posts:
bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:34

I'm doing Weight watchers. Tallulah, it's never too late for a 'my dh is a twunt' rant!

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:35

T - isn't yours on the other side of the world? Far-flung twuntage!

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:36

Did you see this daisy?

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:38

More for daisy!!

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:40

Any of you guys want to go in together on the nappies?

sputnik · 14/09/2007 21:41

Don't worry Tallulah, I'm sure there'll be another one along soon
Actually, I could start one...
Does dh not realise that coming and wobbling my belly is not likely to make me feel sexy?

I won't be over til xmas, and then will probably be too busy. Though there might be a remote possibilty before then if Dh gets sent somewhere for work and I decide to come over - but prob won't

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/09/2007 21:43

Exactly Foxy. So DD has her jabs today, he phones to see how she is & I mention how am glad he'll be home when she gets her 3rd lot. Replies that he couldn't possibly take her as it would be too upsetting FOR HIM! Forget that I've had to do it last 2 times, and come home with her to an empty house, and try to console her for hours, and get calpol down her neck BY MYSELF, and watch for signs of fever etc and worry how I'll cope ON MY OWN if she does have bad reaction. Do you all get my drift or AIBU?

sputnik · 14/09/2007 21:43

Daisy, you're not STILL buying nappies?
