16lb - blimey ...my LO is 15 weeks tomorrow - where have those 15 weeks gone?

And to all those who say you forget the pain.....I haven't forgotten yet...

sputnik · 14/09/2007 20:51

Wow Jamantha, your LO is really talented, she can hold something with both hands!

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 20:51

I'm on the case daisy!

Charlie, you really don't want her to be more demanding...the terrible twos really are terrible! Ds is lucky if he gets my attention at all if he's not being fed!

You never forget the pain, anyone that says you do is talking bollocks!

Right, bumper....make sure you express loads of milk for his next day off. Leave him at home with the baby, doing nothing, and get yourself out for a few hours. Meet a mate, go to the cinema, for a swim or something. Let him stew on the sofa!!

My DH has utterly failed to notice my mood and is fussing around the house tidying up and tutting in my direction every so often. This will all come to a head by Sunday, mark my words!

DD and I are off to Harrogate Flower Show on Sunday with a couple of my friends. There's a baby show on in Harrogate as well so we may have a mosey there too!

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 20:55

A baby show? What a load of babies on display?

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 20:57

16lb . DD is a trim 12lb 7ozs and she's a good 2 weeks older!

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:01

Daisy - perhaps you should ask him to fuss around in the direction of the dishwasher

Holly - know you're right re demanding but I bloody hate housework!

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 21:03

LOL Jamantha......

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 21:06

Good god no Charlie....it'll take him until Sunday to get it out of it's packing. I'll probably have to do it myself through the week. when I lived on my own I had to everything myself, including plumbing in a washing machine. When DH and I got married, my dowry was my toolbox which was bigger and more impressive than his (he used to get his dad to do everything for him)

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/09/2007 21:07

is anyone scrabbing this evening?

trendaverter · 14/09/2007 21:07

DS is 15lbs 5oz

I am grumpy

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:08

I could scrab.

But sorry to be dim, but what is a baby show?

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:09

I'm very independent as well...although I'm not sure I could plumb in a washing machine!

I'm crap at Scrab

Charlie999 · 14/09/2007 21:09

Whats up TA?

Have the boys realised all their fags have gone yet?

riabutterflew · 14/09/2007 21:12

baggins was 12lb13oz on Wednesday. DF says he has never seen a baby grow so fast.he is a very hands-on GP too so he's allowed to say it.

poor you bumper, we go through that all the time when DH is working because he's there so much and I get really pissed off and want to spend fun time with him, but he's knackered and wants to do nothing, also he never does anything around the house. Sometimes I have to take a step back and remember how crap his job usually is, but it doesn't make me any less pissed off and sometimes I just want to kikll him rather than listen to his tales of woe

I am at your nursey fees. I think I used to pay £12-16 per day when DS1 used to go 9 years ago, and it included lunch and snacks. I feel guilty for being a SAHM now, but I'm glad I am one as I could never in a million years earn enough to pay fees.

foxybrown · 14/09/2007 21:13

Daisy - Am surprised you've not ripped it out of the package and got it on! Can't wait for the DPs to do what needs to be done, not in this house anyway!!

I'll scrab.

Jamantha, I don't have you on my facebook do I? What are your initials so I can find you?

justbeme · 14/09/2007 21:13

Sorry to hear about the twunty men folk!

Thanks for the info on syringe pointing Foxy - havent tried it yet as L has gone to sleep but she was def grumpy tonight.

Whats up TA? Have the boys sussed out their fags have gone?

Ive been down since L's jabs today - I felt really horrible and I know its got to be done - but when DP came home I just burst into tears and needed a hug - it was like I had a stress headache and I felt drained - cant explain really. Cod and chips have made me feel abit better - you should have seen the size of my portion - and I ate it all!

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:14

Holly, did you have a think about a Bristol meet up?

Who else was it that could make it?

Sputnik, when are you over here next?

trendaverter · 14/09/2007 21:14

yes thay have, they are being very well behaved, not like them at all!!!
Funny

I am just pissed off because I spent a whole load of money on different sorts of second hand cloth nappies to try a few types before I find one I like, but the trouble is I have been sent a load of crap that my conscience won't let me sell on, I have just thrown away a whole load of money

The better items I have put up for sale but no interest

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:15

SW, foxy

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:15

Foxy, can I scrab with you?

justbeme · 14/09/2007 21:16

where have you advertised them TA?
Cant Daisy help you with some laundering tips to make the others more saleable??

loonylovegood · 14/09/2007 21:17

I've found some size ones for £5 each! I'll keep looking for size twos!

Jamantha · 14/09/2007 21:17
