Hi All!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
wuzzlefraggle · 22/09/2007 13:39

yeah, I had a fantastic time, got pretty drunk lol and was singing along to all the rock classics from bon jovi, queen, guns n roses, twisted sister etc

And Eddie Ojeda...he rocked!

Anna is much better today, And Gingeme, it's horrible isnt it when people give dirty looks like that. I've never had any, but with her little eye a bit bruised, I was frightened to death that people would think it was me that had hurt her

ahh, the peaceful life that is mother hood eh?

gingeme · 23/09/2007 11:32

Wow sounds realy fab wuzzle. Glad you enjoyed it.
Lo is getting more confident being upright now. He wants to be lead around one handed all the time. A big cheeky grin on his dribbly face
He had a bit of an accident yesterday. Tried to get on ds3's tricycle and bit his tongue right at the end underneath. Loads of blood. Ofcourse blood on everything because he puts everything in his mouth
Took a good hour for it to stop properly. All better today thank goodness.
I guess the first birthdays will be starting soon. Whos first? Can anyone remember? Its ashame were not all still posting
Well have a good afternoon ladies. xx

samsmam · 23/09/2007 14:20

Oh babyducky you are clever. Never thought this time last year Id be doing it all again thats for sure.
Gonna have to think seriously about a meet up soon. Maybe with a birthday cake or two

babyducky · 23/09/2007 20:22

how many weeks pg are you now ginge?

I'd like to try & come to the meet up next time, depends when though coz I'm really busy at the mo, got Kai's christening in 2 weeks, I need something to wear!!!

glad you enjoyed your night out wuzz!

We had an accident yesterday aswell, Kai found a tiny bit of glass on the floor, dunno where it came from I dropped a lightbulb a few months ago so it must have been from that! Anyway he picked it up & I rushed over to take it off him, was just about to grab it when he put it in his mouth!I was trying to make him open his mouth to get it but he wouldn't, just kept trying to chew it, eventually I managed to get it but he cut his gum on it, it was pouring with blood! Poor thing.

gingeme · 24/09/2007 11:52

Bbabyducky little people seem to bleed ana wful lot dont they?
Im 24 weeks pregnant. I have a scan on Thursday because the sonographer said baby was big for my dates though my mw didnt seem that worried so Im just thinking of it as another chance to see bean
I washed loads of baby clothes yesterday. Kept saying to myself'cant believe Edward used to wear this'. Only seems like 5 minutes ago.
Hes realy realy trying to walk now. He goes realy carefuly to the end of the sofa the sort of ponders for a few seconds and plonks onto the floor.
But he just looooves being lead round by his hands for ages.

babyducky · 24/09/2007 14:53

24weeks already! Blimey!

Thats what kai does aswell, just stands there! & he loves being walked around by his hands!

I have started doing another montage if anyone wants to see, will do link in min.

to anyone who was asking after emilyandlola, they are fine, she sent me a message on myspace, I have told her to come back!

purpleflower · 24/09/2007 15:33

Hi all,

So my LO is the oldest!

He is walking all the time now, he just looks to small! DP is happy though because it meant that we had to buy some shoes (I refused until he could walk)

I still can't believe its been a whole year already, it was my due date tomorrow !!

Baby Ducky we're getting married 26/4/08! Not long now

Glad all the pregnancys are going well, I'm so so broody at the moment.

purpleflower · 24/09/2007 15:36

babyducky Kai is really gorgeous

gingeme · 24/09/2007 22:26

babyducky kai is so handsome. He screws his nose up like Edward too
Think well have to update ours tommorrow. Just looked at it. Cant believe hes gonna be one next month
Oh and he did 4 steps today. I didnt even notice at first because he was close to the sofa like he does to cruise then I realised. Made me out to be a liar though as he wouldnt even try when Ddaddy got home

samsmam · 25/09/2007 18:36

I'm slacking with my montages! Must get going for the nearly one montage!

Kai is very handsome and a cutie.

On the answer to the question about LO's eye appointment I'm not too sure if I posted a while back but LO has to go back in December and may have to wear glasses as she is apparently quite long sighted. We shall see what December brings and hope that its improved.

EffiePerine · 26/09/2007 09:39

DS also walking a bit - can manage 4 or 5 steps at a time so don't think it'll be long befor he's off . He has a pair of crawler shoes (start-rite I think) mainly to keep his socks on and cos he is outside a lot.

samsmam · 26/09/2007 10:02

I don't know if I ever posted that LO is now walking, well for the past three weeks, big problems getting her in a buggy now as she wants to walk everywhere. Think she is a little to confident tho.

wuzzlefraggle · 26/09/2007 12:50

ahhh, babyducky, kai is such a cutey!!

Well, I've bought Anna's birthday presents already! lol and it's not for another 4 weeks lol.

Hope everyone is doing well.

gingeme · 26/09/2007 15:51

samsam wow another walking baby Effieperrin well done your lo walking too. Ive given up buying lo shoes of any description now. Got him some shoo shoos fron Mothercare a couple of weeks ago as theyre pure leather and soft for walking and washable etc trouble is hes learnt that its fun to pull shoes and socks off because they taste nice
ds4 had his first morning at nursery this morning. He absolutely loved it
I also had my 24 week check up this morning. All is well with bean
Any more thoughts on our birthday meet up?

Rumpel · 26/09/2007 20:52

Hi All,

Not posted for a while as I am really busy at the mo'. Haven't had a chance to check out Kai's montage yet but I will tomorrow!

Got Amber weighed etc yesterday - hadn't met our new HV yet so popped to baby clinic. She is 24.6 lbs, 78cms tall but her head is still on the 25th centile! Her head doesn't look small though - 'tis very peculiar - still I've got a small head too - as long as our brains are okay I suppose!

Speaking of which it is weird rediscovering my brain at Uni - all the time I was there before I was pg or had just had Amber - you know what PG does to your brains eh ladies?

Any names for the fifth member of the team GINGEME? Is he big or are they talking poo? How is your DH feeeling about the snipetty snip of the scissors approaching or is it the sizzle of the cauterising tool these days?

Amber is walking now if I hold her hands and she loves it. Her incisor came through at last too - total of 4 teeth now

We are planning a quiet birthday, it is on Thursday next week so we'll do something togehter at the weekend. Got her mostly books, wooden toys, a push along wooden brick thing, a beautiful rag doll and a stacking hen. Her room is coming along - managed to sew up her curtains at the weekend still got some painting left to do. I have used watercolours and because her hands are constantly in her mouth we now have paint streaks along the wall!! I need to touch it up when I am finished and put some kind of sealer over it.

SAMSMAM - how are you feeling now? Still a bit down or are the maltesars helping

PRINCESS - how are you? Did you mention that you have to give up your job now or am I havering? If so why? Aren't you the osteo?

Hope you are all in fine fettle - must go off to bed now.

babyducky · 27/09/2007 10:13

hi all,

emilyandlola has asked me to put this on here, she cant get on here for some reason!

Hey Ladies

Hope you're all well. Cant stay and chat really. Just quick update...

Lola and I are fine, DP and I have seperated recently though and Im currently staying with my mother (joy!) moving to a new house at the weekend though, so Lola and I will have fun getting settled there. Things are really good though, Laurence and I are still seeing each other, but I decided things were too much too quickly (if any one knows the circumstances we got together under you may understand) but we still love each other, well i love him desperately any way...so we are sort of together but living apart - he has been putting Lola to bed everynight too, which is more than he did when I was at home with him!

Looking to start an OU degree, scary...

She's not looking like a walker yet, still v happy crawling, we had such a ball on holiday, I taught her to swim, she is ever so happy in the water i couldnt get her out for hours, she actually fell asleep in the pool when I was cuddling her one afternoon.

6 teeth... looking forward to her 1st birthday, im buying her a fish tank...

sorry for long post - if you want to catch me I use facebook as Bex knows,

emily.benton @ hotmail . com

wuzzlefraggle · 27/09/2007 16:13

Emily, I hope that things work out the way you want them to re your dp. x glad that you and lola are good!

Ive decided to do a little tea party for Anna's first, just for the close family, gunna have a buffet, nice birthday cake etc. And I cant list all her pressies that I've bought coz the list is just too long! lol.

Gingeme, glad to hear that beanie is doing well!!! x

I live to far away to come to meetups, ah well!

hope everyone else is doing well!

gingeme · 27/09/2007 17:06

Hi ladies how are you all?
Just a quick question for all those of you bottle feeding. Do you still give your lo's a bottle at night time? The reason I ask is as some of you know Im having another baby in Jan who will need a night time feed plus Im fast running out of lap. Any ideas how I go about this?.

Rumpel · 27/09/2007 19:42

BABYDUCKY - Kai is gorgeous - lovely eyes. Tell Emily is was great to hear from her - kept wondering if she was okay. Tell her I was asking for her.

GINGEME - I still give Amber a bottle at night. Could you enlist your DH for Eds bottle? Either that or you will need to try and get him to bed earlier than new beans night feed, or later, depending on beans routine. You should have used reuseable nappies - you would have well got your moneys worth from them

Am jiggered today so off to bed at ridiculous pm
