We opened a bank account last week as I am a bit wary of the fact that they can get their hands on all that lolly aged 16. What would you have spent lots of cash on at 16? A tattoo of something hideous? Cider? Make-up? Parties? Even worse, like me - some saddo boyfriend who was a lazy F*d-up waste of space? Scary thought eh?
Well we had a megabusy weekend and am shattered now. Lack of sleep over the last few weeks has caught up with me. Am off for acupuncture tonight as this week is THE week - no more bevvy for me this week! Had some yummy Montes Alpha red wine at the weekend as I knew I would have to be dry for a wee while now - just in case.
Amber had her 5 thingy booster jag tomorrow - will let you all know how it goes. It should have been last week but they put it off until tomorrow as it was her birthday.
What have you all decided about the MMR? I was leaning towards singles but realistically it is the most researched inocculation of all time so I am veering towards just getting it now. People forget now how serious measles can be but I knew a girl where I used to live who caught it at 14 and has been a (sorry for the term) 'vegetable' ever since - really sad. The worst thing is you can't tell if the brain is okay inside but the body just won't respond so you are trapped in a perfectly rationale brain -aggggg! Torture.
Need to go - A is sleeping and need to study - yawn.
