Ahh - thank goodness you are back Been anywhere nice?

We have injections on thursday and pre-school boosters - am concerned ds2 is going to hit the nurse - he is going to completely freak out!

How is Skott? I thought he was moving in or did I get that completely wrong??!

My angst is my inability to drink alot due to feeding but knowing that the last thing I need with three ds is a hangover!

elkiedee · 11/06/2007 23:22

CD, hope this week brightens up for you.

Baby zazas is just gorgeous.

Evening. Like the title Ellie - although forgotten that injections are coming up - hate that part of being a parent.

All OK here - except I just washed our clothes with a sachet of fairy fabric conditioner from the bounty pack instead of detergent - bollocks - they aren't clean at all! octo no angst over drinking - I need my mummy juice to get through the bedlam evenings are in this household.

Thanks elkiedee - baby zazas has her moments

better go bed

hellooo! don´t seem to get much time on here these days.. I wrote that half an hour ago and am back now CD hope you are feeling better today, hope you know how much of a star you (and the other mummies) are for dealing with more than one lo. I really can´t imagine the day! Thoughts to all with injections to get, we´ve got ours next week or the week after I think, can´t remember..not looking forward to it at all.

My older sister and her dh are coming out tomorrow til sunday and it´ll be the first time she´s met N. I really can´t wait and am willing away the time until they get here. She´s only 2 years older than me and we adore each other, Mum will take N on friday so we plus dhs can go for a meal, will be the first time I´ve had a drink with her in over a year! busy stocking up ebm to leave with mum and for the early morning feed on saturday.. how much planning required??! a bit tentative about dealing with N with a hangover but dh will be there and we´re planning a very relaxed day at the pool at his sister´s house (she´s away with her family for the weekend.. yay!) so should be do-able. How long does it take for alcohol to leave your system? Not planning to get rat-arsed, just half a bottle of wine with a meal or something ( will probably actually be rat arsed on that come to think of it...) and mum will have the evening feed in a bottle and I will have the 4 am feed also prepared so if I stop drinking about 1am and have to feed him at 8am.. that´s fine, right?? HELP!

He´s grizzling so better go, can´t put him down at all these days. Is slowly driving me nuts! Village pool is open now so trying to convince mum to come with me so she can look after N and I can swim a bit.. wishful thinking?

Just to add insult to injury - spilt a whole cup of water over my mobile last night & it no longer functions. That means I don't have any of my MN contacts anymore as I haven't updated my phone address book on the computer for a while. Please email me with your mobile no if you want to (mainly Ange, SOKL, Emmymummy, Bramshott, Ellie ...... SE peeps really) That would be good thank you!

Still feeling as rubbish as last night & DH is in a moody. Just trying to get organised to take DD1 to Pre-School. Was supposed to meeting friend for coffee this AM; but don't think I can face it. Meant to be working this PM too.

Someone slap me, pleeeeeeease .....

Katy44 · 12/06/2007 08:41

CD was just about to text you but don't think I'll bother!
might your phone be OK once it's dried out?
Baby zazas is very cute

geordiemacminx · 12/06/2007 08:56

morning ladies.

dippy - sorry you are feeling so down. on th mobile front, if you can dismantle it as much as possible, cover, key pad etc then leave it to dry/hairdryer it then it should be ok - its only sugar based liquids such as beer or juice that knack them!!!

bumble75 · 12/06/2007 09:07

CD - big hugs for you and hope things get better and you're able to sort your phone

Nutty - am glad you were able to talk to your HV and got your appt's sorted. I was losing it the other day so put L in the pram, got the ipod and went out for a looooooooong walk - really felt better afterwards. Lots of hugs for you.

Can't remember anything else and need to jump in the shower while L is pretending to sleep...

Have a good day everyone
xx

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 09:15

Hope it does dry out - it's the last thing I need right now. DH off to take DD1 to Pre-School with the other 2 so I am trying to persuade myself to get in the shower. Don't know whether to meet-up with friend or not. Just feel so low.

Katy44 · 12/06/2007 09:41

Do you think you'll enjoy it when you get there, or is it just something else you have to do at the moment iyswim?
Wish I could help you xxx

Katy44 · 12/06/2007 09:42

octo / angeg, thanks for the list, I'm going to print it off and stick it on the notice board.

AngeG · 12/06/2007 09:42

Sorry you're feeling so low CD. Will email you my number in a minute, hope the phone dries out.

Think it would be a good idea to meet up with your friend for coffee, maybe do you good to get out of the house?

Baby zazas is gorgeous

Good to see you Ellie thanks for sorting the new thread out

Hi bumble, GMM and Katy

Maveta - Have a great time with your sister. How is the bf going now?

'see' you later xx

zazas · 12/06/2007 09:46

capdip sorry to hear things are a bit pants at the moment. But honestly woman you are living life at 100 miles an hour You have three very, very young girls to care for and that is enough for any woman let alone all the other things you seem to fit into your life! Take a big breath and say to yourself "I can only do what I can do" and then slow done for a bit and get yourself back on track - you need to look after you first and foremost so you can care for all those who need you. I am a good 12 years older than you and have been there myself - so please listen Have you also used your HV - mine came the other day for over an hour just to chat - baby S is doing great but my 6 year old DS is struggling and has had signs of quite distressed behaviour. We just went through things and thought of ideas on how to juggle all the kids / homelife etc. It helped so much just to have an impartial, listening ear - try it, they are there not just for the babies but for the family.

Same for you nuttygirl - I am sorry to hear that you are struggling but please also use your health visitor - get the right one and they can be a fantastic resourse to helping you cope. Mine was still visiting me at home after a very traumatic 2nd birth 6 months down the line.

Rant over

maveta enjoy your sister's stay - you will be fine with a bit of wine oh and so will Noah!

Better get on top of work while baby is chilled!

Pesha · 12/06/2007 09:52

CD might do you good to force yourself to go out for abit and meet friend, if its a nice friend that is!

Well i was awake at 6, 7, half 7 but then fell asleep till 8.15 Need to leave for school by 8.40 at the latest if we're walking so ended up hjaving to wake dp to drive us (nowhere to paRK SO COULDNT DRIVE MYSELF) (ooops) and have myu 6 week check at 11.45 so dp is going to have to get up again to collect ds1 from playschool at 12. He is not a happy bunny. But then i have to get up all through the night for dc so dont see wshy he cant for once too!!
Baby zazas is gorgeous and love your bouncy chair!

Have put a new pic on my profile of dylan smiling, he's been nsmiling since 3 weeks (first smile when i was in hospital with infection which was just what i needed!) but only managed to get pic of it now.

Had him weighed yesterday and he was 9lb 8.5 so only gained 3.5oz since last week, which not too bad but not great, i thought it would be more. And he's so skinny, you can see abit in the pic how scrawny his arms are. So hv lecture this week was on resting and not overdoing it, not worrying if house is a mess cos it will affect my milk (my house is a sh*t tip!). Last weeks lecture was about not crash dieting and eating well cos that will affect my milk (i've not lost a lb since he was born ). Wonder what they'll find to lecture me about next week

nuttygirl · 12/06/2007 12:11

Hello all,

Octo & CD - hope you both got my emails.

CD - I meant add if your phone doesn't work I think I have a couple of old ones if you'd like them?

LesleyR - We should definitely meet up sometime. I did invite you and pinions out with me & Elkie on the one thread but I think a new one started before you posted! Also if either of you drive and fancy popping round for a cuppa please do! (although you'll have to put up with the mess that was once my living room

The HV who comes to me is a trainee, she's lovely and great at her job. She was saying yesterday she has 8 weeks of training left and that she loves the work but there are no jobs for her .

Well expecting DH home for lunch any minute and no idea what we're having so best dash!
