Awwww, bless her nutty - what was her birth weight?? Just wash Rikki;s with ordinary wash - at least that is what I do with mine!!?

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:01

Awwww, Ange you are peite - small, but perfectly formed!! What a wee dote - sweet!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:02

Petite even!

AngeG · 12/06/2007 19:03

Thanks babe you're a sweetie but perfectly formed once maybe but not at the moment

nuttygirl · 12/06/2007 19:05

She was 7lb 3oz. Currently she's growing along the 9th centile. Not surprising I guess cos I'm quite small. (And I was once petite.......when was that again??? )

Also DH & I were very small at birth (I was 4lb 3oz and DH was 4lb 8oz) so not surprising she's quite a small one!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:05

Definitely not atm!! Did I tell you that I have to point my toes to press down the clutch on our new car ..... bit of a stretch - Make me think of you everytime!!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:08

Bless these petite little bubbas ...... P is actually a bit of a heifer imo; but I had expected Sophie to be a bit smaller as she is a week younger, but then she was a lb heavier than P at birth - so it all evens out in the end ..... My DD2 weighed something ridiculous like 6lb at 6 weeks and she is still tiny now, bless her!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:09

Must get motivation to go downstairs & tidy up .........

Someone tell me to get off my fat arse, please ........

AngeG · 12/06/2007 19:15

pmsl - know what you mean about pointing your toes to reach the clutch

Izzy was 6lbs 12oz at birth and was on 25th centile but has dropped to the 9th, I'm not too concerned though.

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 19:17

Nah - no point getting worried ..... DD2 wasn't even on a Percentile for her 1st 18m ..... bless..... those charts are only designed to worry mummies and daddies sick - they are complete bollocks if you ask me!!

AngeG · 12/06/2007 19:20

I totally agree. I was never on any of those lines as a child and had to go and be weighed and measured every few months by the hospital til I was 12 a complete PITA and stressed me out. As long as children are happy and growing then I'm fine with it.

nuttygirl · 12/06/2007 19:22

The thing that bugs me about those charts is the HVs try to explain them but don't really understand them themselves. Made me when the HV was explaining how to plot a point on it...don't think she realised I had a Master's degree in Maths!

phdlife - Yes he can have calpol. 2.5mls I gave it to DD before the jabs. He can also have some more after 4-6 hours if still not happy xx

EllieK · 12/06/2007 19:56

phdlife calpol is most definitely not just for fevers, it works well on grouchyness too

phdlife · 12/06/2007 20:01

hmm wonder if I should have some too?

thanks, will see how he goes. right now he's happy(ish) having a good tight snuggle...

Emmymummy · 12/06/2007 20:18

EllieK · 12/06/2007 20:20

oh that's lovely Ellie, sorry missed your post before!

Have put a few more photos on my profile if anyone wants to look xx

eca · 12/06/2007 20:34

hey everyone

Been lurking, but no chance to post.

Talking of injections - am I the only one who's not letting ds have them yet??? It's because he's fully bf, I understand that he has immunity from me. Going to do a bit more research on mn.

Zazas - CUTE PICCIES and snap on the rainbow bouncy chair! T pooed all over his today!

Pesha - Dylan is a love. He really looks like you! We managed to catch T's very 1st smile on camera! Have got an enlarged print in frame in pride of place !

Katy - ROFL at T waking with you under his blanket sniffing his nappy !! AND then weeing in his face!! Bless [grin

LesleyR - hope Thurs goes ok xx

CD - aw hon, you sound like you're having a STRESSY time! Breathe, breathe. We all need an hour sobbing on the sofa now and again. Hope you find the brakes soon. You have been SOOOO busy since you had P. You really hit the ground running with her. Maybe your body is asking for a pit-stop and a bit of a rest. I know that's easier said than done, but hope you manage a bit of a slow down before you melt down. Was going to start digging round for curtains for you (thought we might have some in the loft) but it sounds like you've got lots of offers already (good old mn ) and TBH they are probably alot nicer than ours

Hi Nutty

eca · 12/06/2007 20:37

lots of x posts

hi ange, ellie and EM!

Good to 'see' you phd. Hope you're doing ok.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 12/06/2007 20:47

Evening lovely ladies.

CD, you are sounding a lot brighter. Lots of love to you.

Zaza's, lovely photos.

God, have competely forgotten everything else!!

Had a lovely day today. Also had K weighed finally and she is 10 pounds 6 ounces. Talked again about silent reflux and I am to keep a log of her symptoms for the next week.

My mum and dad and brother then came over this afternoon as dh and I had an induction session at the school that B will be going to in September. It was lovely to meet the teachers, but also made me feel strangely sad that a chapter in her life at nursery/preschool is coming to an end.

Mum and dad seemed to cope ok with the evening routine, although K is not settled and dh is up there still.

Feel quite down this evening tbh. Partly down to tiredeness, partly as I have said, about B going to school and the end of an era, and still stressed about K.

Apologies, rather a self indulgant wallow of a post.

Really hope everyone is ok. xx
