I had real problems with Jack with meat so i'm being carefull this time, when do you think it's best to introduce it?

My tummy one (which was my first one, when I was 14 - my mum went ape.... I was a rebel ) didn't hurt at all, next was my shoulder when I was 16 I think, that wasn't too bad, my ankle was year before last, the top half of it didn't hurt but the bottom half is on the bone and that was worse than child birth! But luckily it is pretty tiny and so it only took about 5 minutes start to finish.

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 10:36

LOL Sara, I will never look at nurses in the same way again

saralou100 · 23/05/2007 10:36

what about upper arm?

get a pen out and draw one on to see if you like it?? (hehe)

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 10:40

No, it is too close to the one on my shoulder (which is sort of on my upper arm anyway)

I think it is either going to have to tbe the inside of my left ankle, or on the outside on my right ankle.

Or, how about the side of my foot, or is that yuk?

mygirllollipop · 23/05/2007 10:43

What about above or below the T, below the T because of the GnT thing!

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 10:44

GRRRRRR I have had enough of this sodding internet now, I am off for a bit, it makes me so mad waiting and waiting and waiting!

I suppose I had better think about getting some breakfast down me before it is lunch time as well.

BFN xxx

saralou100 · 23/05/2007 10:44

oooh foot would hurt, to many bones, not enough flesh... but as you say it's small so wouldn't take long (get some gas & air )

saralou100 · 23/05/2007 10:48

i think mn is being painfully slow today, or it's my 'pooter, everythings taking ages!!!

and i forgot to mention, ryans joined the crawling crew!! he chases round the living room after a packet of wipes, like a little soldier dude!!

mygirllollipop · 23/05/2007 11:05

MN is fine here, I would love a tat on my foot but yes it might be painful.
DD4 crawls but doesn't get far so rolls instead! She props herself sitting up from lying down the little babe!

saralou · 23/05/2007 12:14

notice anything different

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 23/05/2007 12:20

saralou · 23/05/2007 12:42

it feels wierd!!!

i bought it in the name auction!!!

see we are all hairy knuckled truckers, with tatoos to match!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 23/05/2007 13:46

you look lovely, you'll get used to it!!

LeBe · 23/05/2007 14:34

Hey everyone - my youve been chatty. Have read through your messages quickly to get the jist but wont answer them (im such a lazy cow!) I have had the most the last few days! My hit list contains... Ebay, mechanics, backache, broken tailbone, periods and housework!!! Anyway now thats over with... Im gutted I missed the fireman and on the tattoo thing I had chinese symbols on my back now covered with a big celtic pattern, one on my hip (which is now stretched!!) and I always said I would never hav one that you cant hide if you were for example getting married (yeah right!!!) or going somewhere fancy etc.. and then 4 weeks after ds was born went and had his name tattooed on the inside of my wrist!! so that is that now! Anyway the one on my hip hurt the least (more flesh) and the wrist hurt but luckily so close to giving birth didnt seem too bad!!!
Ah ds is crawling a bit now but its weird I dont see him do it then all of a sudden he is in another place chewing something he shouldn't!

podglet · 23/05/2007 19:19

Hmmm, tattoos... I have Pegasus (winged horse) on my left thigh, a starfish design on my lower back (designed it myself and have been in tattoo mags!) and a weird symbol thing to the right of my belly button, stretching up (perhaps the littlest more stretched than it was). The tattooist just drew on me with a biro and I liked it so much I had it done there and then! totally made up on the spot! I may be v sad and put some pics on

Desperately trying to get a mortgage sorted and somewhere to move to now we thought the flat would take forever to sell so were a bit caught out

Am v of your crawling babies, DS goes up on all fours but can't get the purchase to go anywhere, the floor is laminate and he is on a blanket that slides about.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 23/05/2007 20:28

podglet, dont wish for a crawling baby you will never be safe again!!! [shock shock horror horror face]!

well today ds has managed to have a chew on dds shoes (under our desk) pull out all of the PS2 controls by the telly and get himself stuck out by the front door with no toys to play with! hmmm the fun of it all!!

right i am off as my best mate is sat here watching top gear and im being very unsociable!

saralou · 23/05/2007 21:30

why won't ryan go to bed!! aaarrrggghhh!

he hates his bloody cot!!

KaybeeandZak · 23/05/2007 21:58

i am really jealous of the crawling too
DS STILL driving me crazy and refusing to sleep

chickenlegs · 23/05/2007 22:08

Both my boys are asleep right now, touch wood, but i'm not gloating as i've had a really crap day which ending in me locking myself and the boys out and having to knock on a neighbours door to ring my husband so he could come home from work and let us in!!!!!!!!

saralou · 24/05/2007 09:15

morning... ryan finally passed out at about 10.30... kaybee, sorry i'm not alone! he spent the evening screaming 'cause he was so tired and would fall asleep and wake as soon as i went near his cot... won't settle in it either!! gonna take him to the dr's later, he's had a cough for a few weeks now from all his drool, but its getting worse now and he sounds like he's choking.

honestly you don't want crawling babies... thats when naughty begins and gets worse..

i woke this morning to find ds1 sat on the floor by my side of the bed playing with a lipstick. all over him - all mashed into my carpet so i'm scrubing at my carpet at 6 in the morning... not nice!! at tesco's at 7 (actually very good idea, very quiet in their!) would like to recomend carpet power for product of the year ()

hi chickenlegs, are you name changer or new????

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 24/05/2007 10:35

morning everyone!

chicken legs, who are you?? very mysterious!

well ds being a pain and wont sleep during the day, thankfully both went down fine in theroom together at 8pm last night, think they realise iv lost it by then! got to get all packed as have to ship all our stuff to my aunties to go in my cousins car for the holiday as my mum owns a yaris and barely fits me and the kids in it, let alone our stuff for a week too!!!

Charleesunnysunsun · 24/05/2007 10:54

Morning all.

I am at home all day with the boys today, it's the first time in ages i'm usually surrounded by people, but were getting on fine.

I would love a tattoo but i am so indecisive i would never pick a design i would be happy to keep forever, i am good at designing them though i have designed loads for friends.

I had a bloody awful stomach bug the night before last now i feel pretty shite, but it seems to have passed with no reprecussions so hopefully thats the last i will see of it.

Harry isn't quite crawling but shuffles onhis back or stomach and he rolls alot to! He is saying lots of sounds i'm sure we got a dada the other day, Its never mama first!

He's a big boy noe Stacey you will be amazed at the chunkiness of him when you see us on Wed. (you ill probably be suprised by the chunkiness of me to but thats a different story)

Saralou loving the new name, it suits you i hope you didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it?

Sarahlouo what we have to do with Harry to get him to go to bed is wait untill he's really sleepy but not quite asleep then put him an his cot, in a dark room wwith his mobile on, he whinges for about 5 mins max then gives up and goes to sleep. At them monet he is going from about 6.30 - 5am so thats not bad!

OP posts:
saralou · 24/05/2007 11:19

(it cost me £5, but worth it )

charlee, tried that, it seems to be the cot he hates, nursery have commented on this too! i think it's this cough he has... i've just been to dr's and it's not anything though, and can't have anything for it, but it's like he's choking on his own saliva... he goes so red in the face, and of course i have to pick him up to help him clear whatever it is, which wakes him up and the whole cycle starts again

i do miss my evenings!!!!

Charleesunnysunsun · 24/05/2007 11:59

I know how you feel Harry has evenings when he just screams and cries and will not go to bed.
Jack as the same he just kind of grew out of it - I know that is no help at all!

Have you tried a lavendar massage or putting it in a bat hat night time? Lavender knocks my two out so much they will sleep anywhere!

OP posts:
saralou · 24/05/2007 12:11

aww, see ds1, lovely child really (when he's not mushing lippy into my carpets!!) was a dream, slept through from 4 week old, i remember the smug feeling putting him to bed at 6.30 knowing i wouldn't be disturbed till 7 the next day!

this one though - far more complex (me and dp agree, this ones gonna be trouble ) he has lavender bath, we stick to routine!! aarggh! i'm thinking growth spurt maybe... he's 24 weeks ish (i think).. as it's only been this bad this week!

i'll stop me whinging now, it's gorgeous weather today, very hot!! am i brave enough to take them to the beach alone??
