Wow your all buying houses and moving ect! I'm staying put i hate moving house. My sister moved at the weeked which was good coz she was in a horrible halfwway house wwith her Lo and other half but they got a lovley flat now so im really chuffed for them.

Sarahlou and Podglet - Men can be right a holes when they want to be cant they, DP had a right paddy yesterday morning complaining about how he was fed up with our life ect, what with jack being unwell. I told him to stop being a selfish whinging prick and that when he wanted to talk to me with respect i would discuss it with him. Turns out he was just venting off all his frustration about the past several weeks and now he is fine.

Harry has spent the afternoon turning on cirlces on his hands and knees!
I am still breastfeeding i say everyweek im stopping and i alwways give in when he starts grizzling, i can see my self now in a yr's time with a toddler hanging from my boob!

Charlee - it is so hard when you stop BF. It took about 10 days for DS to stop pulling at my top and looking at me with huge sad eyes - it broke my heart every time but I had to be strong!

Poor old Debbsy - send her a hug when you see her mygirl. Sounds like a nasty old Estate Agent you have.

The 3 viewings have gone really well I think. The 2nd lady who came, turned up again this evening for another look so that's promising [fingers crossed].

mygirllollipop · 22/05/2007 07:52

Podglet = always promising when they turn up again. We knew we wanted this house the first time we saw it (well from when we saw the outside of it) but we had another viewing and put the offer in the next day. That was about a month ago mind. We didn't have a solicitors so the estate agents one was supposed to ring us but they never, then the estate agents rang back after 3 days asking how things were going, obv nothing had happened so they got their sols to ring me but they were very vague and misleading about their price. Then the next day the estate agents rang to say the vendor had decided to go with someone else, so we had to offer asking proce. Anyway my brother moved on Friday so I used his solicitors, who have been pretty good so far and are on the ball with the searches. My mortgage advisor has found me a mortgage and the valuation is underway. Things seem to be moving slowly so I hope the vendor is OK with that esp if this nasty estate agent gives her her opinion of my choice of sols. We are in rented and the house we are buying is vacant so hopefully there is no chain. We want out of this house so much!
Charlee - sometimes you do think life has got something against you but then what use does thinking about that help, you get on with what you've got! Don't blame your DP for thinking like that aloud sometimes though.

saralou100 · 22/05/2007 10:41

morning

podglet.. having just been house hunting with my parents, i can assure people do look in cupboaards (well, i do) have i mentioned i'm nosey! i'm with you charlee... never moving again!! mygirl, your estate agent sounds like a twat! ggod luck with it all though!!

had a chat with dp last night... i still think he's a knob and i don't want hugs or kisses from him, but we're being polite now, verging on being friendly...

i had to rebandage his hand this morning... i wanted to pull it really tight and make it hurt evil aren't i

laughalot · 22/05/2007 13:28

Sorry im crashing on again now that NAT is back, nat have you seen who is pregnant ? JENSWISH due jan same time as I was due but I can recall when I got my bfp your computer had crashed then and you dident know for about a week I think you are cursed .

mygirllollipop · 22/05/2007 15:43

Sara - nah I'd bandage it tight! I am evil!

podglet · 22/05/2007 15:54

Hi,

Laughalot - I think NJ has posted on Jenswish's thread - I put a post on there the other day and saw her name

Well mygirl - you were right, that lady put in an offer this morning full asking price as long as she gets to keep my double oven am dead chuffed, we were on the market for less than 24 hours! We have instructed our solicitor, DP has used them previously to sell / buy houses so we know they are good. Your first lot sound rotten, better luck with the ones your DB ysed.

Sara - I'd wouldn't have pulled the bandage tight, I'd have made him do it himself... Dp still being an @rse here, spent yesterday evening telling me how I had done this flat sale all the wrong way round and how much hard work it was going to be and actually, he liked the flat and it was my fault we were moving... I so nearly told him that I would move but he didn't have to

Ok, back to the property sites, we don't have anywhere to move to yet!

NatalieJane · 22/05/2007 16:55

saralou100 · 22/05/2007 17:41

did someone say firemen????????????

no girly nights out for me sadly, i'm back at work sunday (sob) where have the last 8 months of my life gone!!! so it's back to shift work for me (again, sob)

the funny thing abou blw... i've just done the boys tea... ds1 i have chopped everything up nice and small on his plate (force of habit)... ryan just dumped all the veggies on his plate... wrong way round surely

NatalieJane · 22/05/2007 17:46

OK, do you think a full suspender belt and stockings, bra, thong, feather boa, and thigh high shiny PVC boots is pushing it too much? Should I dump the boa? I think they might have to hose me down when they get here!!

Safe to say, I do have jeans and a t-shirt on - honestly

saralou100 · 22/05/2007 18:00

what colour is the boa

firemen are good... even when they take off their helmets and you realise their old enough to be your dad... or it's the middle of the night and pissing down with rain!!

NatalieJane · 22/05/2007 19:54

Well, what can I say? That was enjoyable

OK, DH came home just before they got here... Bummer

saralou100 · 22/05/2007 21:01

lol... shame about dh return

Charleesunnysunsun · 22/05/2007 22:01

Evening everyone. (well night!)

Stacey - I haven't got your email i did email you on the addy i had, i hope it's still your email address and im not talking to some complete stranger!

But seriously i'm well excited about meeting up i have never met a mumsnetter before!
I went on one meet up from another site before i discovered mumsnet i thought we have a lovley time but i never heard from her again even though i eamiled her. The funny thing is she has only gone and moved in a few doors away from my sister! She blatently recognises me but hasn't said anything!

Harry is depseratly trying to get around now he is pushing himself around the floor by laying on his back or front and pushing himself along with his legs, its so cute to watch!
He's not loving the hot weather though, he is getting so sweaty he's been playing in just a t-shirt today with a ton of sun cream on!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 23/05/2007 08:38

charlee i have returned the email! i cant wait to meet either, especially as we've been talking for 2 years now! cant believe how time flies!!!

keiran is doing the same, he can roll the length of the living room with no hassle and he pushes up and his hands and knees and slides backwards atm, one of the first signs, arrrrgggghhhh dont want him to crawl yet, i was safe until dd was 9mo and now il never be safe again!!!! arrrrgggghhh. (oh and hes already pulling at everything, hes worked out to aim his rolling towards things!!!!)

right have got to do some housework and washing, going on holiday saturday! hehe!

mygirllollipop · 23/05/2007 09:05

Congrats Podglet!
NJ I am so so very !

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 09:23

Mygirl, jealous of the firefighters or of my boa? Tell the truth now, I know it is my boa, it is very fetching

We are off down to my mums this weekend, I want a new tattoo and the place where I have had all my others done is down there so I need help. I already have a once tiny now rather large chinese symbol on my belly (obviously very hidden away at all times now it has a huge stretch mark straight through the middle of it!) I have a small daisy on my right shoulder, and a small 'T' for Thomas (DS1) on my left ankle, so I need a 'G' (for George obviously) Where can I fit another tattoo that I can hide when I don't want it on show, that isn't too close to the ones I already have (I NEVER show more than one at a time, though I wouldn't be so bothered about showing the T and the G together) Where can it go?

saralou100 · 23/05/2007 09:41

nat - i've got one on my lower back, top of my left thigh, 2 on my left shoulder one at the top of my right arm and a band around my right arm (so not many then!) probably most discreet 2 i have is thigh and back, thigh hurt less!

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 09:49

No, I don't want to hide it all the time, but I don't want it somewhere where I can never hide it - forehead for example!!

I like where mine are at the moment, if I want them on show I can, if I don't I don't, I don't. I thought about having the G on the inside on my left ankle, but thought if anyone clocked I have a G and T on my ankle my alcohol obbsession might be found out.

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 09:50

Anyway, get you! Here I was thinking you were sweet little innocent nurse and really you are covered in tattoos and probably have bright pink spiky hair

mygirllollipop · 23/05/2007 10:19

Snap NJ I want to go to my mams this wkend and also want a new tattoo.
I got a four leaf clover on my @rse 7yr ago, then a celtic cross on my left arm a few months later, then two chinese symbols on my lower middle back (one for my nanna who died a few years previous and one for my friend who died age 18 the year previos), then I got a devil with the girls' (only had 2 at the time) names in on my shoulder. I want another devil in pink with the youngest two's names in beside the red devil (tacky I know!). Why don't you get the G next to the T, show solidarity.

mygirllollipop · 23/05/2007 10:22

As for discrete (sp?) my @rse is private viewing only then the back then shoulder then arm is prob most obvious. As for pain @rse didn't hurt, arm a bit more (I was skinny then!), shoulder a bit more and back a bit more!

NatalieJane · 23/05/2007 10:26

It wouldn't look right next to the T, the T is in the middle so it would look off centre if I had the new one added IYSWIM? And it brings back the whole G and T thing. I should have thought about their initials together before we called him George!!

Do you think it would look odd to have it on my right ankle? Would it be too much?

saralou100 · 23/05/2007 10:31

sweet, innocent nurse... i think not!!! pmsl!!

never ever trust a nurse... their all raving alcoholic lunatics!!!

i have calmed down a lot!!
