Mornig ladies,

Thank you Charlee, we love the photos too, they were taken nearly 3 months ago now thank you everyone esle to, we think DS is v cute too

Sara, shame about the shoes wasn't your day yesterday was it?! Hope today is a better one.

Am sat at the PC watching the most terrific thunderstorm outside - that is one thing I will miss about this flat, we are second floor so the views are fab.

This will be the last post for a few days, we are off to Spain tomorrow can't wait. Hope you all have a good week and the weather improves.

NatalieJane · 08/06/2007 09:11

Sara, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Sorry, call me sadistic but there is something very funny about a poor boy getting stuck in the tarmac What must have gone through his head when he couldn't move his feet? LOLOLOLOLOL Priceless On a more serious note, it was a good job it wasn't the dog that got stuck, I don't think you'd have been let off by leaving his shoes stuck to it!!

I can't help with any of the work/housing issues, but I have my fingers crossed for you all.

We do have a housing issue of our own though, we realised yesterday that we are only tied into our mortgage for 18 months more not 2 years, so the move to Spain has suddenly become a bit nearer, and a bit more real January 2009, and we're off

I ordered Georges new car seat and the Quinny Zapp for our hols yesterday, they should be here by the middle of next week. Can't wait, we've not bought any new baby toys (i.e. toys for me!!) since the jumperoo, and a new buggy, even it is only a cheepy to get us through the holiday, is great fun

Which reminds me, have a good holiday Podglet

Right I am off for some brekkie, see you all later xxx

Debz99 · 08/06/2007 10:59

Hello

Sorry not been in touch our PC at home has been playing up, I'm now back at work ... wow what a shock to the system that is LOL

My little boy Ryan was born on 4th November weighing 8lb 7 now weighs about 21lb (not been weighed for a while LOL ! He will not crawl does not like it on his belly but has been up on his feet and actively trying to walk for the last 2 months !!!! He says dad and twice said hello ! Gives kisses and cuddle and dances ! Hope you are all well !

Debz99 · 08/06/2007 14:27

Sorry been reading the thread ! Ryan has been on solids since 4 months ! Spoke to health visitor as he was always hungry .. he was on the hungrier baby food so she suggested to try baby rice or rusks with one feed which i did and life was fantastic. He has slept right through since 2 months old .. goes to sleep about 7.30 - 8.00 and wakes about that time in the morning. No teeth yet just very red cheeks !

saralou · 08/06/2007 17:00

debz99... welcome back!!! love the name ryan (ahem)

my day did get better yesterday, i had lunch with the girls and spent the afternoon with my friend and her baby boy (1 month younger than ryan)

forgot to tell you this bit thouhg, ds1 decided to drag ryan round by his feet when we were upstairs getting ready (i was in a different room, very briefly) ryan laughed thought it was hysterical, but today it's come up in this massive carpet burn on the back of his head.. nursery even phoned to ask what happened! (even though i'd told the girl i'd dropped them off to this morning!!!) it looks like a love bite!

thanx for laughing nat! (actually in hindsight it was quite funny) so right about the dog though! oh god could you imagine... i cam't even lift my beast at the best of times funny mental image though!!!

podglet, have a fab holiday (ummmmmm, why does the weather need to get better, sunny blue skies here today!!!) (but then it's always sunny in bournemouth!!!!)

rigt gotta go ds1 is doing something mean again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AlfieJacksmummy · 08/06/2007 21:15

Evening girls.
Sorry in advance for the moan
Had another rubbish day, woke up with a pain in my side when I breathed so tried to breathe swallow but then couldn't catch my breath properly. Luckily my mum came up and had ds and I went to the doctors but was a waste of time he wouldn't give me anything for the pain and said I'd probably pulled something, although my mum thinks its stress. Then I lost half my fingernail to a potato peeler and ds coughed fish all over me! That was just the start!!!
Anyway went to Tesco and brought the biggest bar of galaxy I could find and am gonna scoff it all watching friday night project does anybody want a piece?

AlfieJacksmummy · 08/06/2007 21:16

I meant breathe shallow not swallow

debbsyandsonn · 09/06/2007 12:01

im back at work now will post and catch up when i can xx

Charleesunnysunsun · 09/06/2007 17:19

AJ - Sorry your not feeling good, i hop your feeling better soon.

I have had enough of Jack just latley all he does is back chat and play up, he has pulled Harry out his higchair and broken it, he won't eat meals only snacks and has started screaming at bedtime. Anything i ask him to do he says no and anything i ask him not to do he goes and does it anyway. Im fed up with it nothign seems to work punishment wise and i can't ignore him when he is hurting harry or breaking the furniture.!!!!!!!!!!!! argh!!!!!!!!

Harry is teething and has cried solidly for the last 2 days poor llittle man, but he is sitting well now for long periods of time by himself. he loves the cat he sits with it and pats it, i have to keep watch though because he pulled its whiskers out yesterday! luckily we have a placid cat so he didn't get a scrath.

The car has gone up the wotsit and is to expensive to fix so we need another one AGAIN! we have the worst history of our cars breaking down. sigh i hope tomorroww gets better!

I hope everyones weekend goes ok.

NatalieJane · 11/06/2007 17:09

Hello everyone

I have had such a good day today I went into town looking for some clothes, went to the 5 or so clothes shops Accrington has to offer, didn't find anything, I was feeling pretty down and grumpy, fed up of wearing the same things day in day out, then I was walking past a posh cosmetic shop in the arcade, and a girl came and grabbed me from the shop saying they had had some new Dior things in that they wanted to try out would I like a make over, normally I would run for the hills, I don't do make-up unless it is a very special occasion! But I thought sod it, it might cheer me up, so I told her I would be back in half an hour, so I went and fed George at a new mother and baby cafe that has opened, and had a lovely chat with some mums in there, and then I went back for my make over, I loved it, I have brought everything they used DH is going to have a fit, I spent a small fortune then when they had finished flogging me half of the shop I thought I'd give my hair dresser a ring to see if she would squeeze me in, new make up, new hair, why not?! So I have had my long hair all cut off, kind of Vicki Beckham style but not quite, then I had to buy some straightners to keep the look, and then I thought sod it might as well go the whole hog, so I brought myself a gorgeous gold watch with a sparkling diamond in it, I feel like a million squid And even if I do say so myself I smell like a squillion quid with my huge bottle of Dior Addict 2 perfume leaving a 'light summery fragrence' where I've been LOL I am one happy, but pretty poor, bunny Now all I have to do is try not to mention how much I spent to DH, SERVES HIM RIGHT FOR PUTTING HIMSELF ON CALL FOR MY BIRTHDAY REALLY DOESN'T IT?! (Ooops, sorry, didn't mean to shout)

I hope everything has calmed down everyone a bit over the weekend, and that you are all making the most of this gorgeous weather xxx

AlfieJacksmummy · 11/06/2007 17:30

Bloody hell NJ you go girl!!
I thought I was outragous for buying a new pair of shoes (with some advanced bday money) but you've put me to shame!!!
Could we see a piccie please of you looking so glam?

Well we still have nowhere to live and it is looking more and more like the cats will have to go (v.v.v. )

Alfie has spent the last 2 days saying 'mum' over and over, its so funny I cant help grinning everytime!

Charleesunnysunsun · 11/06/2007 20:43

Evening ladies

NJ you go for it hun i am having my hair done next week for me sisters hen night i love getting pampered! (and not the nappies!)

Jacks calming diwn a wee bit but still quite manic!
Harry is still teething poor little man he just dribbles and cries da, da, da, over and over chewing on everything he can find.

Still no news on the job font for dp he has had to hand in his notice from the other job as commission is rediculous money so i guess he will just have to look for another.
We are handing in our counil form in tommorroww so hopefully they will house us we can no way afford another private rent.

Well i best be off i am doing the Davina Mcall power of 3 dvd each nicht trying to shed a few pounds! God knos i need it!

OP posts:
saralou · 12/06/2007 02:39

oooh nat, you lucky lady... i love a good pamper session! what did your dh think (obviously you lied about the pennies spent!!) do we get a photo??

aj, about your puss cats

charlee, iv'e been doing davina's dvd too... bloody hard work isn't it (please agree, i can't be that unfit!) i felt the changes though, and they were all good! (must get back to doing it!)

ryans been doing the dada thing (i keep telling dp it's just a noise, he's not reffering to you 'cause obviously he would say mama 1st if that was the case

dp has finally been given a start date for his new job... next week! he has to go on a training course in nottingham leaving on sunday for the week.. thanks for the notice!! grrr.

you lucky lot all asleep (hopefully the babies are behaving) i'm knackered - want to go bed now... only 6 more hours to go ! have to go do some boring paperwork and drink more redbull (it's not giving me wings)

xx

you lucky lot all asleep (hopefully the babies are behaving)

NatalieJane · 12/06/2007 09:27

Picture on my profile I probably still look knackered and worn out, but it is a damn sight better than this time yesterday!!

And my skin this morning feels like satin, I can't remember it ever feeling so good before, I am officially addicted to Dior products, I bet the shop assistant thought she could retire with how much I bought but so what? It is only money... (Sara, I think you know me too well, I told DH everything was either half price, or on some sort of offer or something (which some of it was, I just can't seem to remember which ones were and which ones weren't... ), luckily he didn't ask me the grand total of it all, I couldn't have outright lied to him, and he would have divorced me if he found out

DH and I have pledged to lose a stone by the time we go on holiday (8 weeks on Friday) I have never actually been on a diet, how hard is it going to be to lose that much in 8 weeks?

Sara, hope you're catching up on some sleep now.
AJ also sad for your cats, we are having to get rid of ours so I know how you are feeling.
Charlee fingers crossed DP finds something quickly.

mygirllollipop · 12/06/2007 09:41

OMG NJ is REAL! LOL. Hope everyone is Ok and coming through the struggles. I'm busying myself with buying this house - eek!

NatalieJane · 12/06/2007 09:46

Well of course I'm bloody real woman, was I supposed to be pretend or something???

AlfieJacksmummy · 12/06/2007 10:05

NJ- You don't look anything like I thought! Love the hair though really want all mine cut off but not a good idea when your hair is like a horses!! Can I just ask you seeing as your giving your cats away also, how are you going about it? I was going to give them to the cats protection to rehome but I got mine from there and they didnt check my home or check their progress and I'm worried they will go somewhere awful!

The valuation people are coming this mornig to value our place. I will make sure to tell them all about the damp and other problems i've had . Then im off to the hospital to see if a consultnt to see if he can try and sort my back out. Got to take ds cos there is no one to look after him, I hope he goes to sleep and doesn't scream the place down!!

AlfieJacksmummy · 12/06/2007 10:06

Can you all tell from my typing that im still half asleep?

NatalieJane · 12/06/2007 10:18

What did you think I looked like?

We have asked around everyone we know to see if anyone we knew could have her, no luck though, I think I might put an ad in the free ads or something, at least then we can stay in touch with who ever has her so we know she is getting on OK, and if she isn't gone before the end of the month we are going to ask cats protection to rehome her. She is a lovely playful little thing, quite pretty and has been spayed so it shouldn't take them long to find her somewhere.

AlfieJacksmummy · 12/06/2007 11:30

I dont know really what I thought you looked like?

See we have 3 boys (2 brothers and a nervous wreck) they have been nuetered and chipped and everything but I want them to go together and im worried that the nervous one will be terrfied every day of his life! Im like you, I want them to go to someone where I can check they are ok otherwise I ill be always wondering!
I could kill my landlord for putting me in this postion!!!

Charleesunnysunsun · 12/06/2007 12:13

Nat you look lovley and for what its worth EXACTLY what i had you pictured as. (did that make sense?)

Anyway yes i am feeling the effect of Davina and my legs are bloomin aching but hopefully it will work, i am not actually loosing any weight at the momnet even though i haven't touched any fatty food and have been working out for a few weeks now! not sure why.
