HI all. Had a shit day yesterday. We had planned to get loads done in the house/garden but as L has been sleeping really badly the last few nights whichi s not like him, we decided he might be uncomfortable as he is pretty heavy on his cot mattress so decided to sort his bed out. DH spent the day firstly going to Ikea to get a mattress then driving over to Halifax to get the bed my uncle is giving us for L. DH obviously couldnt resist watching my uncles new 52" HD tv so didnt get back til 4.30. Rushed around rearranging the room to fit the bed in and DH started to build te bed. Discover e has the wrong bolts! Manage to wedge the bed up til we could get the right ones, put the Ikea mattress on and it is too long! Apparently Ikea's mattresses are 10cm longer than normal ones! WTF?
So have a bed fram that doesnt work, mattress that doesnt fit, no jobs done and barly saw Dh all day. He is going to a stag do next weekend which he blagged because one of his mates going is in the Army and is goning to Iraq straight after so he was worried that something might happen to him. I know it is scary but .
Also, my right nipple is agony. Looks like it has a spot on it (might be a blocked whotsit but dunno) and it kills when R feeds. It is making me feel really depressed but getting to the docs is sucha mission. It got better for afew days but now is worse than ever. THe rest of my boob is fine it is just the nipple. Feels like when I first started to feed L.
I agree with LTH that you know when they are crying/crooning to sleep or when they really need you Wilkie. I would do what ever feels right. If it doesnt then it isnt the right thing for you iyswim.
Jodie - What a weight! Ruth was only 10lbs3 at 12 weeks so going to have her weighed on wednesday. She had dropped below her line (she has only been on the 9th centile since birth) and I was really worried about it but couldnt talk to the HV as R needed her jabs.
Sorry so wingy. Must be more pos!
