at all those with LOs that sleep through! My DS has always prefered a late bedtime & did start to sleep 10 - 8ish at beginning of December (which was bliss) but then went back to night wakings Jan-Feb time. It's recently got a bit better - about 9 - 5:30, but not as good as it was!

I put on loads of weight during pg (and was already 3 stones overweight) & still have 1.5 stones 'till pre-preg weight. At least 'overhang' has almost disappeared!

Swizzler · 07/04/2007 14:45

MEET-UP: I think this is the list of people who are/will try to come:
moi (obv)
Gingeme
Samsmam
Inthehouse
Totallyfloaty
Marthahm

Understand that some are tentative, but will try and book table anyway
Any advance on these 6?

Swizzler · 07/04/2007 14:51

Right, have booked table for 6 adults + 6 babies, 1pm, on Wednesday. Booked under the name of Locker (OK, have outed myself again ).

IF YOU CAN'T COME, please let me know early next week so I can change the booking!

Oh and a little Easter cheer: William only woke 3 times last night (every 3 hrs) and was unaffected by the chocolate I ate - Easter eggs all round

Swizzler · 07/04/2007 14:52

and if you can come, let me know as well (am ramling now, must be those mini eggs I ate)

Rumpel · 07/04/2007 21:50

All of you guys going to the meet up - can you take some photos so the rest of us can see you all with your LOs please. It would be great to see all your faces.

Gingeme - gave Amber a rusk today she was less than impressed, sucked it a bit then threw it away.

She likes savoury stuff, gave her chickpeas with sundried tomatoes and pasta today and she wolfed it down. Me I have a very sweet tooth. Am struggling with a cold today,
DH has had 'flu' all week, and trying like mad to complete my essay for Uni

Have a fabby weekend all

samsmam · 07/04/2007 21:52

Night three in DD's own room, well she is sleeping fine but I'm not. I suppose I have to get used to it. The dummy attachment is proving difficult- in and out of bed to give it back. Only three times last night though!

Anybody has an LO that sits up alone yet? Still no rolling here!

Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter weekend and that weather is as lovely as it is here in Kent for all.

samsmam · 07/04/2007 21:55

swizzler- at mini eggs

Rumpel · 07/04/2007 22:24

Amber is trying to sit straight up from prone. No rolling though - only in the bath.
Just lies on her tum - no attempt to crawl either. Still desperate to converse though - the words just get stuck

OP posts:
Swizzler · 08/04/2007 08:45

W can support himself and also trying to sit up frok lying flat - no success yet. No rolling at all!

youngmum21 · 08/04/2007 09:02

Yeah dd rolled over properly for the first time yesterday!!!! She finally realised that if she moves her arm she can get on her tummy!!!!

EeyoreIsFab · 08/04/2007 10:04

Devon can sit up unaided but will wobble and lose his balance & no attempt to sit from lying flat. Can roll from back to front but seems to have forgotten how to go from front to back now!

He's still in our room as 'his room' is still a bit of a 'junk room' - we had to move our wardrobe out of our room to get Devon's cot into our room & still need to redecorate his room, but somehow need to empty it first - don't know where it's all going to go!

Gingememorechocolateeggs · 08/04/2007 12:30

Good afternoon. Tried lo with a teeny bit of chocolate yummy a sweet tooth just like Mummy!! Hang the diet.
Swizzler dh and ds3 will be coming on the 11th if thats ok. Thought ds3 might like to see the babies and if its a nice place well come again iyswim!
Im on a high today because I usually get hayfever tabs from my docs but havnt been yet so Im taking Piriton so Im feeling light headed. Theyre working though!
My big ds's are going home tommorrow.

Swizzler · 08/04/2007 19:04

Gingeme: you must have had a fab time with the boys and the good weather . Are you going up to see them in the summer? Oh, and all welcome to the meet-up of course. I discovered Giraffe a coupke of months ago and love it (haven't been to this branch tho). V good food, not too pricey and v kid-friendly. The staff in my local one are great - they talk to DS and hold him for me while I'm wrestling with the buggy!

Had a lovely weekend so far - not thinkig too much about Work on Tues. Will look forward to Weds instead

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 08/04/2007 19:53

hi - quick hijack - do you think some of you could add your support here? many thanks

Bubblemummy · 08/04/2007 22:40

Hey all, hope you're having a happy Easter and eating heaps of tasty chocolate eggs

I'd like to come to the meet up too, if it's not too late to sign up.

Sebastian went to sleep at 8pm tonight which is strange as he normally won't go to sleep until about 10. Hope that doesn't mean he'll be waking up even more than usual!

Am thinking about taking him for his first swim tomorrow...

Swizzler · 09/04/2007 08:04

Bubble: course not, you'd be very welcome

Gingememorechocolateeggs · 09/04/2007 14:30

How did the swim go Bubblemummy? Weve taken our lo once so far and he loved it
Looking forward to seeing you Wednesday.
My big boys have gone home now. Had a fun week. Think ds3 will have a bit of an emotional next few days. He keeps going round the flat calling 'Connor, Keith , where are you?'.
Still its his birthday on Friday and were getting him his first bike and letting him choose it. That should help.
Well were off to the park now.
Have a good one xxxx

samsmam · 09/04/2007 19:29

We took LO for her first swim today too! It was great she loved it. Mummy wasn't so sure about her first public display in her costume though!

gingeme · 10/04/2007 17:37

Swizzler any chance of some more directions for tommorrow please? Or have you started a meet up thread and Ive missed it?

BENDYB · 10/04/2007 17:56

Rumpel · 10/04/2007 19:01

Enjoy tomorrow everyone - please take photos for the rest of us to see.

Got really stinking cold from DH and trying to complete essay due in on Friday - head is full of gunge

Dh away for work for few days so just the two of us.

Went to see a house yesterday but it was extortionate - looked like it hadn't been decorated since circa 1978!

Glad u had fun with your boys Gingeme - must be hard having to say au revoir though.

Swizzler · 10/04/2007 19:11

Hi everyone - back from work and all was fine . Boy asleep.

DIRECTIONS FOR MEET-UP: Giraffe, Royal Festival Hall, at 1pm

From Embankment: take RH exit (onto the side of a road under the bridge - not the park exit). Turn right. Cross the bridge (pedestrian and rail - there's a lift). On the other side, you'll see a bank of shops on the east side. Giraffe is in the middle (it's orange).

From Waterloo: follow signs to Royal Festival Hall/Hungerford Bridge/river. When you hit the river, Giraffe is just east of Hungerford bridge (betw Waterloo Bridge and Wesminster Bridge). If you're by the London Eye or Big Ben, you're too far westwards.

Map here clikc on Royal Festval Hall

Oh and email me at personalnotbusiness at gmail dot come if you want my mobile number

gingeme · 10/04/2007 20:39

Thanks Swizzler dh has a rough idea of where it is. Glad hes coming

Look forward to seeing you tomm.

marthahm · 10/04/2007 21:03

hi all. happy easter. i have had the mother of all easters(how appropriate). went up to p in laws hoping for a bit of help whilst dh away in return for a bit of help with lambing. mil is bit of a hard task master so ended up working pretty hard. then, mil broke rib man handling sheep. so...my 5 days with them ended up being non stop baby duty, feeding sheep, feeding lambs, delivering lambs, worming sheep, feeding lambs, castrating lambs, feeding lambs, trimming sheep feet, baby duty baby duty, and by far the most exhausting, preventing mil from doing stuff whilst she bossed me round like you wouldn't believe. phew! drove home last night. got in at 10.30pm with huge relief. dh back home today from u.s. big big relief. am so tired still feel dizzy and tearful. not an easter i'm likely to forget.
also, got timing wrong so going to france tomorrow with dh and lo not day after so can't come to meet up as had planned . we have to leave for airport at 4.30 can this really be classed as a relaxing break? think will be wonderful when get there.
dh v keen to go to bed after week away. to be honest i'd rather sleep right now.
hope you all have a great time tomorrow and please take pics as rumpel said.
gingeme felt sad your ds3 wondering round shouting for the big boys. hope you're ok.

Rumpel · 10/04/2007 21:12
