I still sit in the back with DD in PiL cars, they worry about her getting lonely in the back, I fully expect that with two of them I will be squeezing into the middle seat between the car seats! In my parents car I sit in the front and it feels like the first time I was allowed to sit in the front seat as a child all over again!

Nessalina · 28/03/2015 09:20

I really like sitting in the back and having a sneaky snooze whilst DH drives Grin
Hurrah for big sleeps! J did really well last night too Smile 7:30-7:30 with wakes at 2am & 5am! Bliss!

willywallace · 28/03/2015 09:58

Yay for new cars and muchos sleep.

Can be Cookie, like a dust allergy or something? No family history of asthma?

willywallace · 28/03/2015 10:00

zyla, hair just growing back in the same colour here.

ZylaB · 28/03/2015 10:38

Thanks popz that app's really interesting!

Next question....do we know when growth spurts are due? Are they fairly set times or not? :)

cookielove · 28/03/2015 11:45

will no family history of asthma, it sounds like a quite wet cough if that makes a difference? Hr has what looks like eczema on his cheek but the Dr said he didn't know what it was and offered no treatment Confused will try and get a photo of it and post!

He had a good sleep last night, went down at 7 slept till 11, downed 7oz then slept through till 6:30! Had a coughing fit at 5:30 :(

cookielove · 28/03/2015 11:47

zyla I haven't followed any apps or wonder weeks he has grumpy days, clingy days and happy days and we just go with the flow :)

cookielove · 28/03/2015 11:48

Hooray for sleep! We had a bonza night too. We put her in the Moses basket downstairs (she happily sleeps in it during the day) and went to bed at about 11. She woke up for a feed at half one where I changed her too then she went down from 2 until 5. She didn't settle in her basket after that but dozed between us for a couple of hours. We're like new people! DP has gone to bring his family to my place (they're staying at his) and I fed straight from the shower so really need to get out of my dressing gown and drag a comb through my hair!

willywallace · 28/03/2015 15:01

Could be Cookie, I would go to pharmacy and let them advise you.

Hurray Pis!

willywallace · 29/03/2015 06:39

Where are you all?

ZylaB · 29/03/2015 07:07

I'm here Grin

Minion · 29/03/2015 08:01

I'm here now! Half 7 she gave us! Seems she probably was waking out of habit after all. We were just about to dtd too abs she woke up ha!

JuniDD · 29/03/2015 08:28

Something very strange has just happened. We bought R into bed with us whilst we read the news etc, gave her a Bottle and let her have a chat. She started to whinge so I gave her a dummy, fell steadily silent then feel asleep.
No cuddling, no rocking, nothing.
She has never done that before.

Is this self settling?
She's back in her bed sleeping soundly

Minion · 29/03/2015 08:40

Oops.
And we didn't waste an opportunity.

Nessalina · 29/03/2015 09:28

Good work on both counts! Grin That's an actual self soothed nap - hurrah!
We find J needs one when he's been awake about two hours. He gets all fussy, pop him in his basket with his dummy and he snoozes!

Minion · 29/03/2015 09:46

We were gobsmacked! She normally likes to snuggle in to one of us and we gently hold and rock her a bit.
Today, she wasn't even trying to snuggle in.
She's also virtually rolling so feel swaddle may ne useless soon.
They change ridiculously quickly.
I've no idea where she learnt to just fall asleep.

RPopz · 29/03/2015 11:17

DS went 7 hours straight! Shock Didn't even feed him straight before bed just whacked him in the bednest cos he was being a crabby arse... 10.45- 5.45! Fed him, back to sleep for a couple of hours, fed him again and he's still asleep now.... Hmm I'm going to pay for this later I know it...

FurryScoob · 29/03/2015 12:10

Sleepy Sunday babies! DD had an 11 hour sleep last night after refusing to nap yesterday, she's been up for 2 hours & has nodded off again. I was dreading the clocks changing but if this is the effect on them I love it!

Minion · 29/03/2015 12:19

They've obviously all had a word with each other. This one's crashed out in her pram again! Can't keep her eyes open.
Good job she's sleeping now as tomorrow is the start of ww4, the sleep regression one...
Dum Dum Duhhhhh

JuniDD · 29/03/2015 12:55

Hmm DD missed the night time memo but has also been v sleepy today. Going to a party now where apparently all the women are going to be fighting to hold her... She's MINE!!!

Those who have hit the 4 month mark, did you notice the sleep thing?
Can't happen to all of them surely?

willywallace · 29/03/2015 14:07

Aha Min, told you she'd figure it out by herself! MiniWil def had a sleep regression, I think between three and four months. It wasn't that bad though.

Who are these baby thieving women Juni?

So I managed to cook a Sunday lunch whilst left alone with both children this morning only went slightly crazy and MiniWil destroyed the living room whilst I wasn't supervising. Quite pleased with myself, even though I'm not showered yet.

Pisghetti · 29/03/2015 14:27

DP's family are visiting and I'm definitely guilty of baby hogging. Not in the slightest bit sorry - it's good for milk production right! Oh and now I'm on top of the lansinoh applying, things have definitely improved in the nipple area. It also seems to have cleared up a bit of soreness around her mouth from milky dribbles so win win! She was having none of it with her basket last night. She fought it with mighty feeds until the wee small hours (I'm confused about the actual times because of the clock change) and only settled in bed. I'm a bit torn as I don't want to cosleep long term (although I am secretly enjoying the newborn cuddles). But when she did settle she slept till half nine Shock
