Ooh that sounds cool Juni. Are you into photography?

My arse hurts. How do I know if I've got piles? (don't make me look! Hmm )

JuniDD · 30/01/2015 16:02

I believe you can "feel" for piles, like bunches of grapes?

I'm so not into photography! But it was a fun class and I got some good ideas for nice pictures of her. I'll put a couple up on the FB group maybe so you can see the kind of idea. Absolutely knackered now though, it was really physical! Thankfully I went with an NCT friend who drove us there & back. DD also wiped out so big cup of tea and biccies for me!

What's everyone up to at the weekend?

willywallace · 30/01/2015 16:15

That sounds cool Juni. We mostly have visitors this weekend.

Any bleeding whilst pooing Popz? Otherwise yes you'd probably have to feel for them. I thought I probably did and then my midwife confirmed the delightful news during delivery Hmm . Will ask for advice at 6 week check I think.

Nessalina · 30/01/2015 16:55

Oh cookie, that's a shitty thing for him to say. He might mean it right now, but it won't be the case for long. Silly man. There's honest, and there's callous, and I reckon that's the latter. Chin up, you have a beautiful boy! Thanks

Wil - I am sooo jealous!! I'm not even close to getting back in mine, I'm still wearing maternity jeans Blush Though they're falling down a bit at least! I'm blaming the fact that I've been pregnant or comfort eating in between since pretty much June 2013, so I gotta lotta weight to shift!!

Ooh, piles doesn't sound fun Popz Confused Hope they bugger off soon!

I'm actually really relieved that I've been ill this week because I've got loads on next week Smile It's my birthday, so I'm treating myself with fun stuffs Grin Including a meal out with just me and DH whilst my folks babysit - woo!

cookielove · 30/01/2015 17:27

It was completely shitty, sometimes I think he has aspergers the way he comes out with things. He does love him, he is happy buy he is an insensitive fool!

That sounds fun Ness. If any consolation I don't fit my normal coats. Can't wait to get back into my warm duvet one.

Hugs Cookie Thanks

I just slept for an hour and a half. That may be my longest chunk since having her.

FurryScoob · 30/01/2015 18:16

Congratulations to you skinny people but I'm keeping my fat until it gets warmer I stop eating chocolate

rpopz your gonna have to be brave & have a feel. 10 weeks after birth & I'm the proud owner of a lovely deflated balloon feeling pile & still hoping it'll go away on its own, really can't face bum surgery.

Photo course sounds good juni & a great result if its tired DD out.

Happy Birthday for next week ness

RPopz · 30/01/2015 18:32

Bum surgery!? Shock I'm not really sure if it's bleeding because I'm still bleeding from the birth...(seriously, when does that stop??) Guess I'm going to have to get hands on! Hmm

Hooray for sleeps Wil! I'm really bad at not sleeping in the day... should really get in the habit.

DS is 4 weeks old today! Shock Where did that go??

JuniDD · 30/01/2015 20:01

The time flies rpopz!

She is still asleep. Had a feed at 5.30 and conked out again. Kinda missing her tbh! But DP is getting a takeaway so I'm sure that'll wake her up.

willywallace · 30/01/2015 20:05

I asked midwife if piles would go away and she said "they'll shrink". I was not reassured.

I bled for weeks and weeks last time Popz. Maybe forceps related? On that note, did anyone stop bleeding and then start again? I have had nothing but browny/cream mucus for days and then tonight have bright red blood again.

willywallace · 30/01/2015 21:50

Oh my God, do you think it's my period? I will go nuts if I start having them again straight away. Shit I feel crampy I bet it is. I'm sure I went about 8 months without last time.

JuniDD · 30/01/2015 21:59

wil it's blatantly lochia! I was bleeding for a good four weeks on and off after. Surely DD2 is only like five days old?! Wink Time is going too fast!

Nessalina · 30/01/2015 22:07

It's totally normal for it to stop and start Wil, had you been walking or carried anything heavy? Even mild exertion can shift a bit of stubborn uterine lining that's been clinging on bleurgh Mine had been really light after 6 or 7 days, then we took him for his TT cutting and I carried him in his car seat whilst DH found a parking space coz we were running late - and boy did the flood gates open!!
There's no way it's your period!!

Nessalina · 30/01/2015 22:07

I bled for a full 6 weeks btw Confused

willywallace · 30/01/2015 22:28

Oh right ok that makes me feel better! Thanks. Don't remember it stopping and starting last time. Ha Juni she is nearly two weeks already. Time is going far too fast. Night time screaming has commenced already, aargh would love a night off.

Minion · 31/01/2015 04:59

5 weeks of bleeding here too, naively thought a c section would get me out of it.
It doesn't..

Im up too. Madam thought it wound be hilarious to scream blue murder last night instead of just napping (overtired and a stick burp), she finally decided enough was enough at ten. And slept till 2! The last bottle was at 8 so she may be going longer now without one! Woohoo

Of course that meant come 4 she had her scheduled poo!
Lovely. I'm all for routine, but child, schedule your ccraps for a more sociable hour!

willywallace · 31/01/2015 06:05

How inconsiderate Min.

We have some crib sleeping action tonight however she only sleeps there for an hour at a time. If I hold her, she'll go two hours. I should persevere shouldn't I?

RPopz · 31/01/2015 12:39

The mw told me the bleeding might get heavier again if I had an active day or did loads of feeding.... it has seemed like it was tailing off a couple of times now and then started back up with a vengeance!

Doesn't bfing stop you getting your period for a while anyway?!? Hooya Wil Grin

I have this dilemma with cosleeping wil - we both get more sleep when he's in with me, which unfortunately means DH is relegated to the spare room haha... Saying that he went 4 hours in the bednest last night Shock

cookielove · 31/01/2015 14:04

Dh took ds last night so I could I have a full nights sleep I didn't manage a full night but I feel better for it. Ds was very unsettled. Dh is so jealous about how well he sleeps on me Grin

OP posts:
FurryScoob · 31/01/2015 14:57

Yay for the sleeping babies, I've got one too! This time last week she would only sleep on me but last night she spent all night in her Moses basket & slept from 12-6 then 7-8.30, i had proper sleep in my own bed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin

willywallace · 31/01/2015 15:39

Wow you are making me feel hopeful. MiniWil slept about 4 or 5 hours in a row right from the start so I was obviously spoilt and not used to this. Saying that, I am handling the sleep deprivation much better this time round. Four hours in bednest is fab Popz.

Minion · 31/01/2015 22:54

Uhhhh, munchkin last ate at 6:30, then slept like an angel in pub. Woke for a bit when we got home. Promptly fell asleep and is still kipping. It's been nearly 5 hours.
I know I shouldn't wake her but...

cookielove · 01/02/2015 01:34

Elijah has got in the habit of waking at 1.00 am - not fun!

OP posts:
willywallace · 01/02/2015 03:44

I wake this one all the time Min. It's a necessary evil until she sorts out her night and day.

Why's that Cookie?, this one didn't even settle for the night until 1.45am and I'm already up feeding again. Hmm

cookielove · 01/02/2015 07:23

I have no clue, he is very unsettled with a stinking cold! :( he has been up 4 times this past night! He has had milk twice but barely had any maybe 3oz most each time. Hopefully he is coming out if the phase where he needs topping up at night and when this cold goes he will sleep through
