Well R is being our angelcare guinea pig tonight. We're trying to put her down in her moses, in her room and then transfer the whole thing when we go up. I hope this works.

I've nothing but admiration for single parents And parents whose partners work shifts. It's a lot to ask of one person.

Apparently getting dressed was the real high point of the day... DS hasn't left my boob for more than 15 minutes at a time without screaming since we got up... The poor dog is climbing the walls! 5 hours til DH gets home!

Good day all round then! I planned birthday stuff for next weekend - my darling parents are travelling over from Liverpool to babysit see me and I'm going out for a curry with DH!!

Just went to bf group Popz. The only place I can go as haven't remembered how to feed without getting my whole tit out yet .

Where do you all find these groups to go to? I've tried googling in my local area but nothing comes up. All the local sure start centres are shutting down.

I joined a few FB groups in my area "bristol parenting" and people advertise loads on them. Or look at the schedules for community centres etc. It's quite nappy valley here with loads of play cafes etc.

Horrible day here and gotta go down the motorway to a sling library. Wish us luck. DD has decided to feed and sleep like a newborn so a bit at a loss right now as this is the longest she's napped for weeks!!

Hope all ok with MrScoob. Netmums local pages advertise a lot of classes. HV should know of some if you ask them and fb parenting sites quite good as well. It depends what type of thing you're looking for. If you want a baby class try googling Baby Sensory, Jo Jingles, Waterbabies, Hartbeeps, Laisy Daisy, Baby Massage etc and see if they have anything in your area. But a more general Mother and Baby group will probably be easier to find through local word of mouth.

I should get up for midwife coming but really want to nap.

Also check the libraries - they usually run sessions.
