Conrad and I went out to a fireworks party - dd went to the big organised one here that they hold with the castle as a backdrop and the fireworks are all co-ordinated to music.

I do hope everyone's having better nights sleep

Purplemonkeydishwasher - Hello are you new to Mumsnet?

purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/11/2006 15:55

HI all,
much better night last night. he slept until 5 FIVE FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
an unprecedented night and not a moment too soon.
thanks for your support. no more vomiting and the vomit the other night was mostly phlegm (tmi!!) so i'm wondering if he just had a lot of crap built up that he needed to get rid of. anyway, mucho improved.
has anyone noticed a reaction to medised? i really though it would help but seemed to have the oposite effect.
oops MIL is here...gotta run!

mamama · 05/11/2006 21:31

I miss fireworks & bonfire night so much!

We had a better night too = up only 3 times and in bed til almost 6, yay! Hopefully of our LOs are beginning to settle down. Finger's crossed anyway

How exciting having your DH on telly, SR. Bet the dc were very proud (if a little confused!)

IdrisTheDragon · 06/11/2006 13:15

Hello everyone .

I am tired. Alice was up at least 3 times in the night (DH and I at least shared the load) and she then felt it was time to start the day properly just after 5am. As DH had to leave for work early, I let him stay in bed a bit longer. Then took children to childminder, came to work myself.

Feeling a bit better after jacket potato and cherry coke, but soooooo tired.

Alice is generally lovely of course, but not in the small hours. No chance of ever co-sleeping as she doesn't fdo snuggling in bed. DS didn't, but now does so I feel there may be hope.

Trying to organise DS's birthday party - have finally got round to organising the village hall and sending out invitations.

mummygunpowdertreasonhill · 06/11/2006 16:09

Hi all

We had fireworks and a BBQ in the garden with family and friends. D slept through after they had all gone. DD however woke twice in the night. I can't win can I?

Simplyred · 06/11/2006 21:20

Oh sorry MH - this is technically known as sods law! Had no sleep last night and have been in a full blown mare of a mood all day - over work. Glad to say it is now sorted - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz so tired! Sleep zibes all round

Simplyred · 06/11/2006 21:22

No idea what a sleep zibe is - but if it works!!!......

IdrisTheDragon · 06/11/2006 21:34

Can I have some sleep zibes too .

They sound good. I will give some to my small girl as well .

wabbitt · 06/11/2006 22:40

Ha ha ha - I'm loving sleep zibes!!

Nighty night all xx

mamama · 07/11/2006 02:43

Sending you all good sleep zibes. And a few to myself!

mummygunpowdertreasonhill · 07/11/2006 10:19

Zibes must be vibes that are snoring sounds good to me send them over!

IdrisTheDragon · 07/11/2006 14:27

Have to say that the zibes didn't really work here (although Alice woke for the day a bit later ie 6:30 rather than 5).

I should be being useful as DS is at pre-school and Alice is asleep, but as the cat has sat on my knee, I am doing not much .

Simplyred · 07/11/2006 14:56

Sorry the zibes didn't work so well Idris xx bet the cat needs no zibes either!!

wabbitt · 08/11/2006 12:04

Too many zibes here - dd is off ill with fluey head aches and temperature, so she's in bed asleep and ds was SO grotty this morning I bundled him back into bed and he's still asleep... I've got loads to do, but I'm dawdling.

mamama · 08/11/2006 15:28

Sounds like all the sleep zibes ended up with Wabbit - sorry your LOs are not feeling good. Hope they all get better soon.

Simplyred · 08/11/2006 22:13

Hope dd and ds are feeling better Wabbitt. First time I've been on today - been good and working for a change!!!
