WL, DP works nights and he is unusually working a saturday night tonight. Heidi is staying at my nans so that i didn't have to bring her out in the cold after work. I'll be going to bed shortly. I am sooo excited haha.

Spotty i am loving WL's idea of a personal shopping day to cheer yourself up.

Willyou, i hope J enjoys his party tomorrow.

FoD and Beasty, i hope your boys have had lovely birthdays. Thanks

2blessed i hope your ok and that you have had some nice time alone.

Oh no hales! Paracetamol in the meantime?

Oh no hales toothache is the worst. I would take all available painkillers Grin

Unfortunately one day shopping just isn't going to make a difference. I'm so angry that he just doesn't seem to get it. I do understand where he is coming from but to be honest I think he's being really selfish. I work too yet if I went off for half a day once a week (plus one evening mid week) we would never have any time as a family. Dd misses him so much too.

Ah well making reindeer tree decs with dd today with hand and foot prints Smile

Hello everyone, we have sleep! The blanket is doing its jobGrin

Spotty I'd be pissed off too if DH was out on the one day I could really use his help to the max

hales sorry about your gums, ouch! I hope it settles down and you're not in too much pain. DH gets all the tooth problems in this house, poor love.

Congrats Fod for the bfp! Do you know when you're due? In due late July so I've joined the august 2014 group - although in a super slack way. And happy birthday mini Fod! Gosh, it does go so fast! A whole year later and they are little marauding people. Smile

Ds slept from 19:30 ish and stirred a couple of times but didn't wake (we did...) then we gave him a bottle at 5:45 I think and he slept until 7:45 Shock it was awesome! I'm hoping it keeps happening so I can get back to some deeper sleeps. Although longer sleeps has been sooo good Smile

Congrats Fod that's lovely news :)

Oh spotty I would also be very cross. My DH plays football too but it's only a couple of hours on a weekday night when DS is already in bed. Going AWOL all day on a Saturday is a bit selfish? It's a shame he can't see where you're coming from :(
I think you should def treat YOURSELF with that voucher ..

Wishing all babies happy birthdays. We have DS's party today with all his little friends :)

Hales hope your toothache eased off

Excellent sleep Nutella!

Happy birthday thread babies Smile

I knew dp would do this Hmm whenever we have a little argument he spends the whole of the next day completely blitzing the place just to prove how great he is. I'm just sitting here watching Big Bang Grin

My toothache isn't too bad i'm dosed up on co-codamol. I'm aware of it, its just not as painful.

I've got H home now and shes full of cold. So i have got an afternoon of trying to stop her running round as she's getting breathless so easy.

Spotty i would argue with him every weekend if it made him clean haha.

Nutella yay to the good sleep Grin

I hope everyone's having a lovely day.

If my dates are right I reckon I am due somewhere around 19 August.

Will go to the GP to get a referral to the midwives. I am also on the August 2014 group although I am reluctant to get too involved until I know that this pregnant is a bit further on. I don't feel pregnant at all yet so it doesn't feel real.

Report
MrsNutella · 15/12/2013 18:40

Everything crossed for you Fod! I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Even though I try not to wobble, and I have been very lucky, I feel very not pregnant at the moment... No symptoms, just tired and occasional lightheaded ness. I'm hoping the dr will do a quick scan tomorrow so we can see our new bean (then I know there is something in thereGrin)

pidj that sounds like a lovely day out. I love the train pics Smile

hales co-codamol is a good thing, glad it feels sort of better.

DS has been a pain this afternoon. I think he woke too soon from his afternoon nap. And changing a tired DS is like putting a fresh nappy on a wild beast that has had coffee for breakfast lunch and dinner. On top of being wild, strong and full of caffeine it is probably also thinking "wtf are you doing with that thing woman?!"
But once the nappy is on you pick him and he is fine, all smiles tears dry up and everything is good - ridiculous baby!

We had a lovely afternoon out at the zoo. I bought a yearly pass in August and DH had never managed to come with us so today was his first trip. It was pretty good. Although I would say it is more of a fast food money making enterprise where there happen to be some animals, rather than calling it a zoo; even if that is a bit long winded Grin

Which zoo is it Nutella, my sister and I went to Munich zoo this time 2 years ago. It was rubbish, all the animals were locked away for the winter.

I'm absolutely exhausted. We've had 7 hours of birthday parties. 12-2:45 we had 7 one year olds and a 4 yo. 3-7 we had the adults. I've eaten nothing but sugar and feel terrible now! Off to bed early I think.

Congrats fod! Lots of pregnant ladies on here now.

Happy birthday to all the December babies who have turned the big 1 this week.

spotty I'd be fuming!! We wouldn't think of doing it so why should they. Unfortunately life changes when you have kids.before we know it they'll be grown up & we'll have some freedom again but it'll happen so fast important to have quality time with them now.

hales hope your tooth is better. Just before getting pregnant with ds I had a tooth abcess and owwww never felt pain like it!! Well except for labour lol.

We'd already bought tickets so felt had to go even though was worried! Odd that it gets sold out every year. & that they don't make the trail more Christmassy and child friendly as most of the people there were people with prams & little kids!!

spotty oh no!! We've thankfully not had wee in bed yet- sure it'll happen at some point!

She's got an awful cough and then farted which led to a rather unfortunate accident!! Grin I could do without the extra washing though...

Christmas buffet at work today, I will be working though so will just go get some food and take it back into the call centre with me!

Happy birthday to all the LOs who had birthdays which I've missed.

Spotty I'd have been fuming if DH left me all day like that! Angry. Congrats on the voucher win, though. I love JL Envy.

That sounded like a lively trip out [Pidge].

We put our decorations up yesterday. Have wedged the tree into a corner next to the fireplace, and positioned sofa next to it, so it's fairly inaccessible to F.

Morning all.

Hope your mattress isn't wet Spotty, but the thought of DD farting and weeing made me Smile

It's DS' birthday today. I'm ironing and he's in bed. Rock and roll. We're going out for tea after DP finishes work. The weather's too rubbish to do anything else.

Happy birthday J.

We've had 2 nights with just 1 or 2 waking (for him, I'm still conditioned to wake!) which is the best ever. It's as though he hit 1 and thought he'd better start sleeping properly.

So, his mmr is booked for this afternoon. ...

I've had to move a few of the lights and one bit of tinsel out of A's reach, but he's mostly just happy fiddling or chewing the branch tips!
