I have just had a sip of water spotty, I threw the last 2 sips up though so I'm scared!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 20:40

Argh I know how you feel it's exhausting when it just won't stop Sad four hours off is a good sign though! I will keep my fingers crossed for you that it stays down

MrsNutella · 08/12/2013 20:50

willyou if you have some (proper, not shop bought Wink) honey try stirring in a little to some hot water - once you can keep the water down comfortably- it'll help you feel a bit more human.
Hope you do sleep well and feel better in the morning! Thank goodness you have someone that can take DS. Really hope you have a good rest!

FandangoLaLaLaLaLaLaLaaaa · 08/12/2013 21:06

I have farm shop honey. Is that stuff okay?

DP and I are lying in bed fantasising about downing pints of water! It's better than sex!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 21:08

Just swishing it in your mouth helps (so said the nurse when I was in hospital)

WLmum · 08/12/2013 21:19

willyou on Saturday morning after a night on the (bathroom) tiles I told DH I felt like a rabid dog - and mine was nothing like yours. Dioralyte is really good if you can manage it, or sips of squash - the sugars in it do help. Really hope you manage a good long deep sleep.

ddas sorry to say but kew was a bit disappointing. Not Christmassy at all really and not great for the kids although they were all really well behaved. Think it would have been lovely as a 'date' for just DH and I though. T was in the ergo the whole way round as she got fed up in her pushchair really quickly - I guess it's a bit rubbish when you're little and its dark and crowded - so I had a long lovely cuddle and kissed her head lots - ah! It was nice though.

WLmum · 08/12/2013 21:20

spotty good news on the wing mirror.

WLmum · 08/12/2013 21:32

Oldie bestie says they're really interested in the house next door!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 08/12/2013 21:47

WL that would be great!

halestone · 08/12/2013 22:04

Willyou, hope you and DP are feeling better soon. I know that norovirus (sp?) is rampant around here at the moment.

Nutella, your ILS do sound like nightmares. Hope you have all the support you need in dealing with them.

Equi if it was me i'd ask them to either store the ride on for you or ask them if they could possibly return it and get their money back as you have absolutely nowhere to store it.

Spotty yay for the ChequeGrin

Beasty, i wouldn't being going back there to eat againHmm

WL sorry Kew wasn't as good as you thought it would be but i'm chuft you were all well enough to go. And FX that your old bestie moves in.

I'm alive! Had awful joint pain and hot sweats all night, which confirms the norovirus diagnosis. I still have a fever but feel okay.

We've showered, stripped all the beds, piled approximately 10 loads of washing in the kitchen and bleached everything we touched yesterday. Now we're off to collect Jamie. Yippee!

halestone · 09/12/2013 10:44

Yay to being alive Willyou haha. I'm glad your feeling better.

Quiet night on here which i hope means good sleeps. H had one wake up for about 1/2 an hour but other than that she slept great. Just need to get her in her own cot so i can sleep well ha. Are any other babies huge wrigglers in their sleep and are ok in the cot? I'm foreseeing lots of wake ups when she's hitting the sides of the cot.

We've a poorly little one here. Temp of 39 and just all snuggly. I've given Calpol so hopefully he'll pick up a bit soon. DD is being very good and patient.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 09/12/2013 11:39

Glad you're feeling better WillYou I expect you feel pretty wiped though!

halestone · 09/12/2013 12:42

Beasty i hope the calpol has helped bring down A's temperature. Thanks

MrsNutella · 09/12/2013 13:36

willyou yay!! Glad you're feeling better.

hales DS wriggles all over the place in his cot but it doesn't wake him. I think that is better for him this co sleeping honestly. Sometimes he will cuddle up next to me and sleep other times I feel like I'm in the way of a stretch.

I feel like death. I have a stinking cold and I am exhausted! I cried and cried when DH left for work so he came back Sad then I went back to bed and slept for three hours. Right now I'm back in bed feeling rubbish, useless and very sorry myself.

Maryland2013 · 09/12/2013 16:04

Yay Willyou!!

Hales DS moves around his cot loads. He never wakes up. Sometimes we find him upside down right in the corner screwed up and he's not bothered!

Equi sell the ride on on eBay!! Then but another one 2 nd hand in a couple of years, ha ha!

PurplePidjin · 09/12/2013 17:14

R gets up to all sorts but still sleeps soundly in his cot - despite my hippy cred i can't abide co-sleeping, need my own space!

I like Maryland's plan Xmas Grin

Equimum · 09/12/2013 17:29

Glad you're feeling better Willyou.

We have another baby who can do full circuits of his cot without waking.

Been to our NCT group party today. Have nursery party Wednesday and playgroup party Friday! F has a MUCH better social life than I do!

WLmum · 09/12/2013 19:55

Yay willyou.
Boo nut. I often have a cry when I'm really tired - hope that and the sleep has made you feel a little better.

It's dhs bday today and dm and mil are here - they both feel the cold so the heating is cranked right up - I've renamed our house the towering inferno! I'm in just a tshirt, when fil was here earlier he was in a woolly jumper and scarf!

WLmum · 09/12/2013 20:01

Ooh Indian take away is here - hurry up and finish that boob T!

WLmum · 09/12/2013 20:17

She's tormenting me!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 09/12/2013 21:03

Hope you're tucking into in now WL!

Sounds like a lovely day equi. We're so busy at the moment I think if I sat back and thought about all the things I need to do I would just cry I'm so stressed out!

Hope you're feeling better Nutella

I think I've got an infected finger Hmm it's really painful and a bit red and hot Confused

Work is so busy at the moment it's a bit of a shambles to be honest Grin I've just been booking people into embargoed slots as I'm fed up of telling people we've no appointments for the rest of the year!

Maryland2013 · 09/12/2013 21:08

Do you get much grief at work Spotty when people can't get appointments?!
Get someone at work to check your finger out!!

SpottyChristmasCakes · 09/12/2013 21:14

I will tomorrow Grin didn't get a chance today! Yes lots of grief always have at least two people a day hang up on me, plus the ones who just moan about how long they've been waiting on the phone which just holds everyone else up. When I answered earlier to an older man he was singing a Christmas song to me so not all bad!
