I can vouch for that Detective! He was completely captivated

ChasingDaisy · 16/04/2013 18:52

I am hiding upstairs crying with my sleepy baby. Everyone is playing happy fucking families downstairs and nobody has spoken a word to me. Next time I say I am coming here for dinner, give me a fish slap please. A big one.

TheDetective · 16/04/2013 18:54

can anyone suggest why o is having reflux behaviour again? he seems well, no teething, no cold, meds at right level for him. no constipation, nothing i can find wrong.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/04/2013 18:55

TheDetective · 16/04/2013 18:55

PetiteRaleuse · 16/04/2013 18:57

I think my cold is turning into an ear or sinus thing. Got a dull ache all the time and when I blow my nose it feels like my big back teeth are about to fall out. Ow. It hurts.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/04/2013 19:03

Mmmm mouldy mack Can't beat a bit of fermented fish.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/04/2013 19:06

70 minutes til aqua-aerobics, eek. Am sat with swimming cossie on the bottom half and boobs hanging out, feeding F. Glamorous.

ChunkyChicken · 16/04/2013 19:18

BPLP isn't that what the Norwegians or Finnish do with herring or something?? Has to be opened outside though because it smells so bad.

Have rediscovered dummy clips (pretty pink ones for the boy to reuse) and it has meant I ate a meal without him shouting at me or being on my lap.Shock Just attached a toy/teether and he couldn't drop it!!

Welcome issimma

((hugs)) chasing - don't go there again. If they can't even be civil to you then why should you make the effort?

clarella N is 22 weeks and has been in the 4 month sleep regression since she was born 10 weeks!

TheDetective · 16/04/2013 19:24

issi. I have I just can't wait to be king on repeat. Just so I can have arms free for 5 20 minutes.

He's going to fucking bed in 7 minutes and counting thanks to his nap dodging techniques today!

Lily311 · 16/04/2013 19:27

Love the xbox thread. My father used to leave notes threatening us to tell his friends how messy we were. His friends kids were our best friends. No way we allowed that.

I have 2 brothers and one sis. 18years between my brothers, my mum did well. I want another baby or two.

So remember I submitted the court papers a couple of weeks ago? They got returned, county court does not deal with family issues. They sent me a note to go to Holborn to the principal registry of family division. Great, took rhem long enough. Went there and they sent me 3rd floor, than 1st, than s2nd, back to 1st and finally second. They didn't know what to do with the papers. But I made a fuss and they took them and will refer the case to a judge. Than they will write to me. After i paid £340 Shock. Feel deflated but I will show the bastards that it can be done, he will be on birth certificate one day.

Slapping here too, i'm in the mood. Who else wants some?

Dixiebell · 16/04/2013 19:27

I'm joining the unreasonable 2-yr-old club. Mine totally does what yours does, VQ, eating is our big battleground.
Arlo, when you eat your peas, you can have some ice cream.
Ooh thank u mummy.

Arlo, if u don't eat up now, you won't get any ice cream.
Don't want ice cream.
Right, eat up now or you'll go straight to bed.
Can Rabbit come?

Argh!

PR, I felt the same about new baby irrevocably changing the old one. Buti really believe now it's more his age than any jealousy thing. So if it's any consolation, i'm sure your DD1 would have become ahem, challenging, at this point anyway! I think it just makes it more difficult for us up deal with physically because your so often holding/feeding a baby you can't just get down and sort out the older one. And mentally with the sleep deprivation!

TheDetective · 16/04/2013 19:27

It is okay to be a shit parent sometimes. Isn't it?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease say it is.

I have played with him and sung to him, rocked him, fed him, cuddled him, shushed him, and talked to him the vast majority of the day!

ChasingDaisy · 16/04/2013 19:41

Lily I need multiple slaps. Go for it.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/04/2013 19:41

It's fine to be a shit parent sometimes. Instead of fighting DD1 over bedtime we're watching the Hairy Bikers. DH away and I feel shite so sod it.

ChunkyChicken · 16/04/2013 19:42

I really really hope so because I am a lot :) Today, I have got VERY annoyed with DD not standing still to do her hair. She is an angel for everyone else when they do it Then found it v difficult to not slap her silly when she was so rude. All the time pretty much ignoring DS. :(

TheDetective · 16/04/2013 19:43

Maybe we should try throwing the toddlers stuff out windows? Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 16/04/2013 19:46

They would probably think it was a great game - defeats the object if they hand you things with a chuckle!

Pikz · 16/04/2013 19:52

Detective if you want to send me the email pm me. I managed a large team so have seen most kinds of emails.

It is fine to be a shit parent. Loo watching the hobbit with daddy whilst I cook dinner/mn.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/04/2013 19:56

Sweary fucking Wednesday starts tomorrow ladies and luis

Yay fucking hey.

Just getting a few in early.

ChasingDaisy · 16/04/2013 19:58

Practice innit PR

Fucking cunty in-laws.

There, my phone now has 'cunty' saved in its dictionary. All ready for plenty of use tomorrow.

Brockle · 16/04/2013 19:58

I bloody well hope so detective
I think you should frame the certificate when you get it lily Smile

chasing his family are tossers. Don't put yourself through it again.

Y is frightened of DP because he has grown a beard through laziness. as soon as Y started crying DP rushed off to the bathroom to shave it offGrin As DP is usually hero worshipped by all three boys it was a nice respite from the adoration!

YellowWellies · 16/04/2013 20:05

I managed to make roasted veg, cous cous and spiced apple pork chops, from scratch and eat it in 40 minutes tonight. I feel epic Grin

MM I have found and unpacked our spare jumperoo - come round and pick it up whenever. Tomorrow I'm housebound waiting for Ikea to deliver a mountain of flatpack and John Lewis to deliver our washer and dishwasher - just in the nick of time as the laundry bin is out of control since we moved on Friday. Thursday I'm out - so Wednesday or Friday probably best.

The bear has been on a feeding frenzy today - possibly because me and DH both thought the other had given him his morning meds and he's comfort feeding Confused Sad am really hoping we haven't accidentally given him an extra dose as DH couldn't be sure if he had or hadn't given it Confused
