And do your girls cry if they have meds up the rear?

PetiteRaleuse · 08/04/2013 14:51

[ bear ]

Without the spaces :)

ValiumQueen · 08/04/2013 14:52
Bear
ValiumQueen · 08/04/2013 14:52

Wow!

[penis]

PetiteRaleuse · 08/04/2013 14:52

No not usually. I put a drop of water on the end before putting it in. Or if due to constipation maybe a little vaseline as they generally have a sore bum from straining the last poo.

ValiumQueen · 08/04/2013 14:52

Oh well, worth a try Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 08/04/2013 14:53

Only works for bears :o

BigPigLittlePig · 08/04/2013 14:53

vq Grin

pr she'll be 7.5 months

ValiumQueen · 08/04/2013 14:54

pr I did that. I guess he was really sore anyway. He is not used to feeling anything going out anyway, let alone going in. Poor boy.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/04/2013 14:57

One born every minute has me in tears every week. I am so incredibly grateful for the straightforward birth I had, and that F was healthy.

kirrinIsland · 08/04/2013 15:14

Grin VQ

PetiteRaleuse · 08/04/2013 15:14

There are baby laxatives that you put in the milk or juice but I only used them in extreme circumstances with DD1 as apparently they can get dependent on them. And it was much later on that I used them when everything else failed.

TryingtobelessChunkyChick · 08/04/2013 15:18

VQ did you decide what to do about DD's birthday?

Rashly I invited 10kids + DD (& DS obviously) so glad a couple can't make it Wink

DS is point blank refusing to self-settle today Angry

The eagle has landed and I have had an inconsolable baby for the last half hour. He is now glued to my boob.

Pennie according to BBC News it is all supermarkets and affects Aptamil and C&G. Due to popularity of foreign made formula in China.

Better not bloody lead to panic buying.

ValiumQueen · 08/04/2013 16:06

penny the eagle being the constipated motion

fruitpastilles · 08/04/2013 16:08

Yes that maybe the case here pennie she's 21 weeks tomorrow and although I did want to wait till 6 months, she is showing other signs as well, I may try her with some carrot purée next week see how she goes.

vq Grin

GTbaby · 08/04/2013 16:16

LilyThanks

Penny have only started weaning today. Although have LO sweet potatoe mash last week. But sleep was off before then.

Am laying on the sofa. LO is on play matt on floor nxt to me. He was asleep until the phone rang (a wrong number Angry) now I'm laying very still. Avoiding eye contact. Hoping he will get bored n fall bk asleep. I was just about to mk myself lunch Confused.

Lots of thought on the weaning thing. I too am going for that whatever thing. I puréed carrots n broccoli separately. In freezer ready for the nxt week or so. We tried carrot today n he sneezed. Shock So funny having carrot all over me. Anyway I've noticed him putting his toys in his mouth today. So maybe he really liked it? Grin Going to have some banana today when DH is done at work. Just so he can get involved. As he gets better at putting food in his mouth ill give him finger food as I feed him purée. That way he gets to play with food but I will know how much he's eaten.

RESULT. HE is asleep. Going to tip toe to kitchen now Wink

GTbaby · 08/04/2013 16:30

As if! Eat with no wingeing baby? Yeah right. Well ill be thankful that he was asleep while I made my sandwichHmm.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/04/2013 16:34

Just made some pear puree and sweet potato puree, got all inspired and had to use up leftover bits and bobs. F had a lick and a nom of a chunk of pear, held by me. She sucked it so violently at one point I thought it was going to disappear and that's when I decided to halt proceedings Blush. Still. She seemed to like it. Her face was a mix of Grin, Shock and Confused. My reward? A poonami. Thanks.
