kirrin forgot to say when I had my coil done the next evening I felt really headaches and flies, then I was fine. A friend of mine who has one said that would have been the coil. I suppose was all the new hormones. Currently on day 12 of my period. Sad

VQ I second cacacaz, I also registered DS on the minor ailments scheme, although they call it care at the chemist in my PCT. They only give colief if you've tried everything else (infacol, etc) and you can have 3 free bottles. So far I've had calpol, colief x3 and bonjela for DS. And free canesten Blush for me.

I need a fanfare, drum roll and chorus of 'alleluia' for my next announcement.....

He slept!! 8-11pm, quick feed then 11.30 - 5.30! Stirred briefly at 3 to fart, snort and wave his arms around, but wow I feel like a new woman!

TheTiger · 20/02/2013 07:59

Oops X-post, I second cacacaz and third pennie!

PetiteRaleuse · 20/02/2013 08:02

Pennie every time I see you post that song goes round my head for ages :)

Just watched Postman Pat. I remember it from when my little brother was small.. How things change !!!

ComradeJing · 20/02/2013 08:19

Hello all. Quick wave as I'm putting dc to bed. Have a friend coming round with her Ds tomorrow - 4 days older than my Ds!

Cleaning day today here. Ds slept like a dream. Sold my old tv on gum tree. Hopefully selling the old sofa next!

YellowWellies · 20/02/2013 08:23

Yep we have the minor ailments service in Scotland too. In fact I'm off to pick up free calpol having had a v pink and sticky accident in our kitchen Blush which DP only cleaned yesterday Shock Blush

About to go and babysit my wee niece (17 months) am v nervous about how I'll cope with her and DS - reckon he'll struggle to nap this morning. It's reminding me about GT how are you? I still think you're mad!!!! Wink

StuntNun · 20/02/2013 08:34

J is 14 weeks tomorrow so we're not scheduled for a growth spurt. He didn't nap at all on Monday so I think he slept more than usual yesterday resulting in him not feeding as much. Cue one extra night feed. I went to bed at 8:30 last night only to be woken up at 9 when DB was putting the boys to bed then at 9:30 when J wanted another feed. So with the 1 and 5 a.m. feeds I'm totally wrecked today. I only have one more question on my assignment to do (must be posted tomorrow) and then I can relax for the rest of my holiday.

What are you studying Stunt ?

PetiteRaleuse · 20/02/2013 08:39

Just found DD1 using my hairbrush on the dog. Even that's not enough to make me sweary today. I think I might be ill :o

blonderedhead · 20/02/2013 08:45

Eliza glad you are feeling more positive about things, hopefully you will get some proper answers.

I had the dream last night. Anyone else yet? Woke up screaming (although actually just making a weird noise) and went and cried all over DH and DS. Oh god it was horrible. Never in my life been so glad to wake up.

In other news DS did quite a hard poo. So obviously is constipated, presumably side effect from miracle new formula... Hurrah. Really don't want to go down the orange juice route. Will try cooled boiled water & see if that helps.

StuntNun · 20/02/2013 08:57

Graphs, Networks and Design PR which is a third level OU course. I have two exams on the 10th and 11th of June and then I will have a Mathematics and Statistics degree that I started nine years ago when DS1 was a baby. Unfortunately my grades have been a bit erratic so I have to pass these two exams with at least upper second class marks in I want to get a 2:1 degree. Otherwise I'll either have to do another year or accept a 2:2 classification. So I'm under a bit of pressure here. I studied through having DS2 so I wasn't expecting to have so little free time at the moment. But DH is a bit of an arse about it, thinks I shouldn't be studying with the kids being so young so I don't get much support from him. So I'm trying to study when DS3 is asleep and just have to live in squalor let the housework take a back seat for the next few months.

contra the doctor will not prescribe unless I buy the first bottle and it works. Surely your sister could suggest clients get lanisol on prescription? I know folks who have.

Thechick · 20/02/2013 09:10

VQ I'm not sure if hv can write prescriptions. If she tells me to buy something I call the dr and tell them and get them to write a prescription. The minor ailments scheme sounds like a good idea.

ValiumQueen · 20/02/2013 09:11

cacacaz prescriptions are free in scotland and all three are registered with minor ailments. I was told I could not get these things on minor ailments. Good to know your sister rates the granules.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/02/2013 09:12

Pear juice would be nicer to his digestive system than orange juice anyway blonder

I did some study with the OU back in the day stunt they are very good. Far too expensive to continue from abroad though, unfortunately, especially the modules in my field.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/02/2013 09:13

I think stunt might need to set up a new thread today. We're slowing down though.

Passmethecrisps · 20/02/2013 09:16

Morning,

blonder prune juice worked pretty well for us. Start with 1 teaspoon in 100ml. Don't try to give the full 100. 10ml is fine. We have also used brown sugar. 10ml before each feed should sort it out pretty quickly

ValiumQueen · 20/02/2013 09:26

So much for fucking National Health Service eh? Thank you, I will investigate these things. I get calpol and brufen from minor ailments.

StuntNun · 20/02/2013 09:26

I have the title all ready PR
