comrade I love my mountain buggy, and they come from your hemisphere I believe.

I am going to make washable sanitary pads out of my old baby vests.

GTbaby · 06/02/2013 21:46

Det I don't change with small voms. As long as the Wetness hasn't gone through to the vest.

Praying DC2 will be like LO. A relatively easy baby. I hope she (yes it will be a she) is a good girl. No vomming, sleep through at 2weeks. Oh dear I've gone crazy.

The last time we tried to send email to this address, the attempt failed. If xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is not your correct email address, please change it below and click "Save Changes" to make us try sending mail to you again. Otherwise, please click this link and we will go back to sending you mail normally.

That is the message that is on my profile page. The link does not work for me to click to say yup, that's my email!

Thus my nickname box won't allow me to click on it!

detective I may be able to help with your pram quest, I did a LOT of research.
Also pram bag wise, search for the sunshine kids car seat bag on amazon, it's for car seats but is big and fits BJCM, Bugaboo Bee and Oyster to name a few.
Saw the Evo in mothercare, looked like it'd be big folded but I didn't see it in practice. The Oyster fold with te seat in bother directions but doesn't lie completely flat, almost though. BJCM is light, v easy fold but doesn't parent face. I liked the Elea, folded smaller than expected but felt heavy and the one I test drove had a wobbliness about it especially along the fold lines of the handle. Sola... One friend loves, one fried it broke, had it fixed, broke again, shit customer services from M&P. if you do decide on one I love near the factory outlet so could see if there's any bargains to be had.
Erm... Baby Jogger versa? Bubble njoy? I'll think of some mor

kissyfur · 06/02/2013 21:49

There are some very funky baby leggings on eBay that are for both boys and girls, although no good if u want tights I guess. But anyhow they are nice and I got a pair for 1.95 inc postage, will try and link...

MissMummy1 · 06/02/2013 21:50

ValiumQueen · 06/02/2013 21:52

How about re-entering your email address or getting a new one, or just contacting MINUTE towers? I promise not to pinch any more of your names, or indeed use that one as it is now mine for ever.

kissyfur · 06/02/2013 21:52

here u go

ValiumQueen · 06/02/2013 21:55

MM you go to your mumsnet at the top of the page and go to your registration. You need your email and password.

detective if you just use your username instead of email, that should work.

MissMummy1 · 06/02/2013 21:59

Fab kissy saw these months ago and totally forgot about them! Thanks Grin

I will give it a go vq - thank you Thanks

Evilwater · 06/02/2013 21:59

I'm just watching Africa one BBC one, and one part the focused on how we are all connected. I wonder what the world will have instore for our children.
Will there be lions in Africa? Or elephants?

I'm reminded of a cartoon, one episode a wise man said to a character:

Hue: See, this whole swamp is actually just one tree spread out over miles...
Branches spread and sink and take root and then spread some more - one big living organism, just like the entire world.

Aang: I get how the tree is one big thing, but, the whole world?

Hue: Sure. You think you're any different from me? Or your friends? Or this tree? If you listen hard enough you can hear every living thing breathing together, you can feel everything growing. We're all livin' together, even if most folks don't act like it. We all have the same roots, and we are all branches of the same tree.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/02/2013 22:00

Det - the elea has rear facing seat, folds up small(ish) with seat on, unclip seat and folds up v nicely. It is a bit bigger unfolded than some, the pram frame is on the outside of the seat iyswim, whereas a lot of the prams seem to have a bigger seat than frame...haven't found it wobbly personally. Good raincover, lies flat, nice amount of storage underneath. Things that aren;t on your list (that I can remember) - needs 2 hands to press buttons to fold down, although only one hand to actually fold/open. Doesn't fold small without removing seat. Um. It's nice.

Boob gremlin awake and ready to go again Shock

FatimaLovesBread · 06/02/2013 22:07

May have just been the display one that was wobbly, it was brand new out and I remember being told to wait a bit so they iron out any problems in production. Do you find it long BPLP? I remember thinking the front wheels seemed to carry on a bit beyond the seat but it might have even the curvedness that gave that impression. I did like it though

J is in his cot, with eyes shut, and he is quiet. I am hoping this will last more than ten minutes and is indeed the lesser spotted sleep. I wish you all a good night, and healthy weans. detective I hope snotty one sleeps for you, and everyone ends up with a Maclaren. It is the law.

Evilwater · 06/02/2013 22:09

Ok, if it doesn't make sence I apologise, as I'm off to bed now.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/02/2013 22:10

Yes fuckedoff Grin
fatima it seems long with the car seat on, but with the proper pram seat it looks normal. Am studying it now too lazy to put it away and it may be the curvy frame.

ValiumQueen · 06/02/2013 22:10

Well done MM the trick is changing back before the wind blows.

lane he will get there eventually. They will all get there eventually.

kissyfur · 06/02/2013 22:12

horseylady · 06/02/2013 22:20

Detective. it does meet your requirements. It's amazing. I am totally in awe.

Thanks pass I've suspected for a while, but tbh I don't really do illness very well. My nan has just been diagnosed with leukeamia. Considering I work in oncology I didn't really have much say other than 'well at least you have an explanation for your tiredness' and 'you're as likely to die of natural causes as that at this point'. I'm not very good with the whole crying thing. I'm generally very matter of fact which is why I'm surprised the few weeks post birth affected me so much?!

Good job the majority of patients I see are alcoholics!! They just want to get to the pub!!

sillymisstilly · 06/02/2013 22:20

MM1 has namechanged Grin
