Moi?

Evilwater · 06/02/2013 21:18

Apart from trying to get it in the boot, I love my sola.

Can we have a thankful Thursday? Just to balance out.
Evil

Grin
Pikz · 06/02/2013 21:18

Hehehe detective!
VQ you don't need an excuse other than you've been through shit loads! But I do get it, in the same, part of me earlier thought well if he drinks too much milk he will have to go on formula and then I have an excuse to stop too.

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:20

VQ I would also like to bugger off to bed, but I know if I don't do the bed time feed, the night will be up the shitter. So I have to stay up. I wish I could go and have an early night. Formula hasn't made a difference with that one! Plus, I'd be woken anyway with him coming in the bedroom to do the whole bed time thing. So pointless... hope that helps!!!

One of my colleagues went to her 6 week PN check, and found she was pregnant. A midwife. Who did not take her own advice. (Who'd of thunked it!!) She has 2 girls 10 months apart. Crazy mofo!

BigPigLittlePig · 06/02/2013 21:21

det we've got the maxi cosi elea. It meets some of your criteria Grin and is rather lovely. God knows where you'd manage to test drive it though.

blonderedhead · 06/02/2013 21:21

I need a new nickname.

I am really worried about mortgages now. Will need to get one in a couple of years and time/finances are not on our side. PR & Stunt have scared me.

BigPigLittlePig · 06/02/2013 21:22

Meant to say - good news, boob gremlin has finally stopped being a gremlin TWO HOURS after she began...

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:22

BFP ( Grin ) Off to google... think I saw it before... BRB!

horseylady · 06/02/2013 21:23

Yw - me too :( will make weaning v hard. Anyway what'll be will be. As I said on fb I'm hoping the symptoms are just coincidental.

Yay det ( or det dp?!)

horseylady · 06/02/2013 21:27

Detective. I love the uppababy

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:28

Which bits does it not meet BFP Grin ?

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:28

Does it do the above extensive list of requirements? Or at least most of them!!!

Dixiebell · 06/02/2013 21:29

I'm actually 10 pages behind, no chance of catching up! But just reading about socks/tights, I remembered these: www.littletitans.co.uk which were in the Sunday Times Style section a few weeks back. Pretty funky. Sorry if someone already mentioned!

ComradeJing · 06/02/2013 21:30

Morning all :)

7 under 7 Shock

My friend had 4 under three which makes me heave too.

Off to the shops today. SO looking forward to getting out the house.

Anyone have a double pram that they love?

Passmethecrisps · 06/02/2013 21:35

Hello fuckers!

I read your post VQ and thought "oh no! VQ is cross". Then I got to the last line and weed myself.

You have all been funny today. Sweary Wednesday has been a success. We have the Friday Rant at work and I think this works just as well.

I got down to parents this afternoon. Think I have remembered everything - have baby and food so nothing else really matters. I presumed she would sleep the whole journey thus arrive full of beans ready for granny cuddles. Nope! Total meltdown when handed to granny. Poor granny! Hopefully a good night's sleep will sort her out. She has been off her food as well - I think the jabs and a bit of a cold have knackered her a wee bit. Ach well.

Actually, do you all calpol only in the case of a fever? What about just generally out of sorts? Bought some tixylix today as I have has a horrid dry cough so I a presuming she might get the same

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:35

Oh my god, I so missed a trick 10 years ago. Should have started my own business! £14.99 a pair! Flippin' gorgeous though dixie!! But Shock I don't pay that for my own tights!!

I've thought about designing a buggy bag suitable for fold flat pushchairs (a universal one) as there are lots of umbrella fold ones, but not for prams/pushchairs. I don't see why there hasn't been one put out there already...

Passmethecrisps · 06/02/2013 21:37

horsey sorry to hear about your wee man. If it makes you fe any better the nutramigen and reflux meds made P like a new girl

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:38

Oh, another question!

Wet clothes - how wet do you let them get before changing? Due to recent increase in vomit, I am getting Angry at my washing pile! 4 changes in an hour this morning, a poosplosion over new sock ons thanks to DP doing the change! at lunch, and then finally another vom session while in the Sola in Pramworld!

I'm thinking a little bit of dampness if not directly against skin can just be mopped up and left. Maybe. What do you lot do?! Where do you draw the change line?!

Passmethecrisps · 06/02/2013 21:38

I cannot believe you had a mortgage refused on the basis of a tenner stunt. That is astonishing. Especially considering the bullshit the banks pull when it suits them.

Passmethecrisps · 06/02/2013 21:40

detective p dribbles constantly - I figure unless it is very damp or directly against her skin I don't bother changing

Pikz · 06/02/2013 21:40

Detective please design the bag but not let it cost £90. Have spent two days searching for one to no avail.

Also do the tights please. I really want some but can't pay that!!

TheDetective · 06/02/2013 21:42

Did you see the one I posted from kiddicare earlier? It's a double, but can probably fit a fold flat single in! I'm giving it a go anyway if I don't find my perfect lightweight pushchair before April!

Pass Good. I feel better now!

ValiumQueen · 06/02/2013 21:43

Yes. Apologies about not being sensible around the reflux issue. Hoping it is just a little blip and nothing too challenging.

Thankful thursday sounds lovely evil

Why can you not namechange detective ?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/02/2013 21:45

Yep I only do clothes change if is next to skin.
