Another dinner refuser here. I ended up doing him toast and he nibbled at one triangle. Putting him to bed now as anticipating another bad night.

DD didn't eat much for tea either, and she normally puts her brothers to shame (& makes me worry I'm over-feeding her!). Nothing of the roast, a bit of ice cream and that was it.
Don't expect her to wake though, just pack away a huge breakfast tomorrow, lol Grin

No food refusing here this weekend (last weekend was a different story...) - DD has been a human dustbin! I fear she has inherited my appetite!

Is everybody apart from me forecast snow tonight? Envy I want some!

Erm, that was meant to be a jealous face and not a green heart. Damn the app!

Dh home and drunk but bearable. Took two hours to settle A. Been into S once. Have left S' monitor with DH. Night for now.

A's had his injections. He was very brave. Only cried when the needles went in. Stopped when I cuddled him after.

Slept from 1 until DHs alarm went off at 6.30, dozed until 7ish when B demanded attention! We've been to the shopping centre, the bank, bought new shoes (for b), visited the baby change in Debenhams where I left the most god awful nappy in the bin. Then quick stop at the opticians and home! B was on his backpack reins the whole time so he is knackered now so I should get peace to have lunch and tidy up a bit!

My brother is taking his new(ish) girlfriend down for the weekend and they are sitting for us on Saturday so we can go out for valentines. I sincerely hope he is taking her out on Thursday, as this is their first valentines together. Have np et her a few times and she seems really lovely. Much nicer than the last one! B goes all bashful and shy when he sees he, so we might have a lady killer on our hands!

Good to hear you had a better night Kitty, and gold star for the brave soldier!

All this talk of new babies is making me broody ..........

Oh no gys.

A has pood twice and been sick. Don't think it's cos of the injections. He howled in his bath which he usually enjoys.... That could have been cos of the injections.

Dh and I had a lovely pub lunch today.

Make sure you go out today kitty. Even if it's for a walk around the block, the fresh air helps everyone. I know that's the sort of thing your mum would say, but I do think there's some truth in it. And if the walk takes you past a cake shop, well that's even better!

Maybe there's something in the air? Ds3 has been a whinge bag since he woke up. I think he woke up too early which is why he is whingey. Hopefully our music group will take his mind of it. Or of course he'll have a complete meltdown in front of everyone. I know where my money is .......... Grin

Has anyone stayed in Brittany? We're thinking of going there on our hols. Any recommendations for places to visit and stay?

Can I join in with food refusing and crap sleep please! R is being a nightmare just now, we're back to 5.30/6am waking and eating next to nothing - aaagghh!!

She is loving fruit as well though Fizz how odd! She's getting more and more vocal now which just makes it all the more frustrating as we get "no like it" and "no way! no eat it" She's even started refusing petit filous on the grounds that they are not 'Thomas and friends' yoghurts which I think MIL has been giving her!!!

MIL is in the bad books anyway after her terrible reaction to new baby news. She basically said "oh, didn't think you'd ever be going down that road again?!" umm, why?? And then topped off with "well congratulations, if it's what you really want." WTF?? I was furious. Needless to say she won't be top of my list to send pics of my scan to.

Speaking of which, scan is today!! Yay! Was originally going to be next week when I was 13 weeks but I begged for a cancellation and luckily they phoned me yesterday with one. Only bad thing is it's too short notice for DP to come so my mum is coming instead. Will post a pic on fb page later for you all to see. :)

Hello

B has had some interesting nappies! Look away now if you are eatng or feeling queasy.

They smell cheesy is that normal?? It's not I know, but he is fine otherwise.

Not sure what we will do on Saturday with our pass, noting on in the flicks, and we have both started our diets this week so dinner is out. Might check the theatre and see what's on.

Just working on choir stuff again! Rolling in the deep! Love it! We've gone modern after the abba fest last year. Looking like our set will be One day like this - elbo, spectrum - Florence and the machine, Titanium - David Guetta and Paradise - Coldplay! We are getting a trip to London in July to perform at the summer BBQ thing down there. Anyone near osterley and fancies coming as my guests let me know! Ashley might be there again! :o

Still got a food refusing whingey toddler here. She didn't sleep brilliantly last night either and I'm knackered even though it was DH who actually got out of bed Blush. Like kitty I've bought supplies, mine is a danish pastry and I'm enjoying some quiet time while M naps :)
Anyone got any good toddler meal ideas? or easy whole family meals? I'm going to consult the Rivery Cottage baby and toddler book in a bit but all suggestions welcome - she won't eat rice, but i keep trying. Seems to like carrots, peas and baked beans, not really much other veg but will obviously eat anything put in front of her at nursery Hmm. Tonight I'm going to try chicken, and some veg in pitta. Might add some cream and a tiny bit of pesto...

I did the mumsnet pesto spaghetti the other day. It says bacon but ham would be fine. Cook spaghetti. Fry bacon if using. Put peas I with spaghetti 3 mins before it is cooked. Drain spaghetti and peas mix in bacon or ham and stir in some pesto.
