Really sorry AWCH :(

Re vapours minimopsy in 5 already bec she also wets through 4+ at night and I don't fancy getting her out of the cot to change her at night. Pampers that is. Huggies size 5 too bug. Must try boots see how then are. She's only 50th centile but they're still fine. If I'm organised I use 4+ during the day and 5 at night.

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 26/10/2012 13:02

Nervous heading to court to meet DD1 Bio father as he is giving DH parental responsibility today. Not seen her bio father in almost 8yrs.

mopsytop · 26/10/2012 13:02

Nappies not vapours! Bloody hell!

Figgygal · 26/10/2012 13:23

Good luck today dsm

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 26/10/2012 13:54

Thanks Figgy It wasn't as bad as I thought Grin was nice to see again actually. He's not a bad man. Happy as DH got on okay with him too Grin

seven77 · 26/10/2012 14:04

Noooo, just caught up then lost my post.

AWCH have you spoken to anyone? You could see if your early pregnancy unit has a walk-in, or if you're lucky see if your GP will refer you for a scan to find out what's going on. When I MC'd they wouldn't let me have a scan, but the waiting and not knowing was by far the worst bit. I was told to wait a week(!) then take another test to see if I still had any pregnancy hormone left.

dsm Blimey 8 years? Sounds like she's better off without him involved, hope it goes ok, and sounds like DH is a much better dad to her already. Sorry your joints are still so painful, hope you get it sorted out soon.

oi I'm jealous of your dinner at the Ivy, and meeting up with xiao, I wish I didn't live so far away from all of you. Hope BOi avoids the pox, but I agree if he's going to get it he'll have already been exposed anyway.

aethel the box houses are very impressive, though you must surely have too much free time!

I done another batch of Xmas shopping yesterday. I got DD a vtech talking bear thing, and an animal keyboard where the animals pop up. I solved the stocking dilemma with happyland people and a set of 4 musical shakers. I also bought bits for DS advent calendar which I still need to finish making, and some bits for the rest of the family from boots in their 3 for 2.

My parents are moving today, our sale still hadn't completed Angry.

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 26/10/2012 14:15

Seven What's the delay for completion of the sale?

Thanks. He's not a bad person he just wasn't ready to be a dad then. He's always been honest and always paid for her until our agreement financially stopped. He does ask after her when we have spoken via e-mail before and he can see pics of her on FB.

seven77 · 26/10/2012 14:29

DSM there's a tiny brick-built shed which is around the width of a wheelie bin and twice the length, it's on the lease but not the land registry. For some reason it wasn't spotted when we bought it, but the other party's solicitors are insisting it gets put on the land registry. They've also spent ages querying(sp?) stupid things like planning permission, it's one of a block of 4 flats built by the LA in the 70's, why on earth would we have the planning permission for it?!

Figgygal · 26/10/2012 18:32

seven where do u live again?

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 26/10/2012 19:14

Names Bond....James Bond....

Aethelfleda · 26/10/2012 19:34

My lovely little DS has developed a new sound.... He growewwwls when his little plans are thwarted!! So strange to hear it, my baby has definite desires and is Not Pleased when mummy doesn't bend to his will. I may have inadvertantly produced Stewie from Family Guy....

And now it's half term. Hooray!

figgy I'm on the Suffolk coast.

Thanks aethel, we're so fed up with it now. Plus the solicitor had a go at DH when he phoned her this afternoon Angry.

Very jealous of those going on dates to see the new bond movie. I admit I've never been into Bond but the new one does look very good and I actually want to see it.

Figgygal · 26/10/2012 19:52

I desperately want to see skyfall but it's on at our little local cinema at end of nov and would rather give them my money than the multi-plexes must resist

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 26/10/2012 19:55

We're seeing it VIP Styleeee Smile

MissZombRee · 26/10/2012 20:14

Random bit of useless information... parts of Skyfall were filmed in my office Grin

Hugs for AWCH Sad

LittleMissFlustered · 26/10/2012 20:22

Loving the new name ZombRee!

AWCH :(

Half term. Hermitry and more stuff-to-do on the cards. Sloooooooooowly does it.

NorthernChinchilla · 26/10/2012 20:31

Brilliant name change ZombRee!

Oh AWCH, I was thinking of you last night when I posted but got interrupted, was thinking we'd not heard from you for a couple of days and was wondering how things were going. So sorry to hear about the MC, and hope the random dead leg stops soon at the very least. I understand (please aethel correct me if I'm wrong) that you're very fertile after a MC, so horsey activities wouldn't be a bad idea.

Sorry to hear you're snot-central aethel, how you manage three like that I don't know... It's weird isn't it, now that they properly express how they're feeling- I know you've been through it before, but seeing DS being upset, enthusiastic, angry etc about things really brings it home he's not a little baby. The best is doing 'This little piggy...' as he knows what's coming with the last one and grins [hgrin]

And return that phone to LMF mopsy, she'll be wondering where its gone Wink!

I used to love our local cinema in Lancaster figgy, all red velvet seats, stage and elderly curtains, up huuuuuuge flights of steps... now been replaced by a Tesco and a multiplex, bastards Sad

AWomanCalledHorse · 26/10/2012 20:44

Saw GP earlier today, he said all the signs sounds/feels like a MC but obv there is a small chance there isn't, so he's referred me for a scan at the EPU. Which is only open Mon-Fri Am. So fingers crossed I get a scan early next week.
Bleeding is worse now (not A&E bad) so unless I was carrying quads & there's one hanging on I think it's all over.
Hoping for a bfp before Christmas, as we've told family & it's the next time we're seeing most of the rabble so it would be nice if people feel they don't have to tiptoe around me/the subject of ttc!

ZombRee, love the name change!

There's a fantastic cinema in Notting Hill called the Coronet, love going there but no local small cinema around here, all Showcase, Odeon & Cineworld.
Don't want to see new Bond, don't like Daniel Craig but I'm a hardcore Dalton is the best Bond (big fan of the books) saddo.

MissZombRee · 26/10/2012 20:48

We used to have a beautiful cinema in our town but it was bought out, used to show "foreign" films for a while, was turned into a cult church and then got burnt down Sad It now stands as an empty shell as it was a listed building so the council can't decide what to do with it.

LittleMissFlustered · 26/10/2012 21:07

AWCH Dalton was the best bond, completely correct.

No nice cinema here. Odeon, cone world, reel of vue.

Hoping my digestive system is up to a proper meal tomorrow, it's been a few days since I had anything more exciting than toast >_< I really fancy a cheese and tuna toastie, even if that means buying a new toastie machine!

MissZombRee · 26/10/2012 21:13

The only trouble with toasty machines, LMF is that they're a complete bastard to clean! I do love an egg toasty though, nomnoms!

MissZombRee · 26/10/2012 21:25

DSS had grandparents day at school today. His maternal GM was supposed to be there (we knew nothing about it) but she just didn't turn up (no work excuse ir not being able to get there as she doesnt work and lives a 2-minute walk from the school). DSS was the only child in his class without a GP there and got really upset Sad The frustrating thing is, DP's mum would have bent over backwards to be there buy we didn't know anything about it.

LittleMissFlustered · 26/10/2012 21:30

What a bitch! :(

Toastie machines are a doddle to clean, damp kitchen roll while it's still warm!

seven77 · 26/10/2012 21:55

missZombRee that's so sad, poor DSS :(. Love the name change!

LMF tuna and cheese??? Has to be a cheese and onion toastie. I do mine in the George Foreman grill, everything has to earn its place in my tiny kitchen!

AWCH glad you can have a scan, at least you'll get a definite answer, and I've also heard you're super-fertile after a MC. And I recommend trying this plan, we tried this and got pregnant after 4 months with DD, after nearly 2 years trying for DS.
