MissRee Not good news. Hopefully your job is safe.

Oh no MissRee - my PA told me this morning that we're recruiting, if anyone's looking for legal PA jobs...

I'm not apologizing for linking that amazing website - we will all now go broke buying worthy gorgeous presents for our LOs handmade in Sweden by lovely people with learning difficulties while they are more interested in the wrapping paper and chewing on carpet lint.

DS slept through from 8pm to 7am with one dream-BF at around 11pm!!! No idea how it happened or whether it was something we did, or if it's just the start of something great...

Xiao Hopefully it's the start of something new.

Where is your company based?

Northern I've uploaded new pics of the honeymoon to my profile :)

DSM I'm in the City of London (near Blackfriars).

You look so happy and lovely in your wedding dress I had to have a dress with sleeves because with strapless dresses I get the dreaded armpit vagina. St Lucia looks pretty sweet too!

Thanks Xiao will upload some more of St Lucia later.

Baby swim has revealed my worst thoughts that yes I do have the muscle tone of a blancmange honestly half an hour of it and I hurt all over. My knee locked up and I wasnt sure if actually be able to drive home ......oh the shame!! DS loved it I knew he would and it knackered him out he's been asleep for an hour so I can recover Grin

Dunno Oi, but hope BOi is ok!

Figgy, Dh has volunteered to take DS swimming so I can go in the big pool & make a fool of myself.

for LMF, you do application! You do it now!! You'll be fine, honest, do it before 5 so it's not hanging over you all weekend.

MissRee, hope your job is safe!

DH has started looking for in IT again, he's had one person phone him about a job in Bournemouth but I don't think we can afford to keep hold of this place & rent something else, he'd make a rubbish PA can't see him pulling off the heels & stockings look somehow.

What's everyone upto this weekend?

We've got our massive school community action fair tomorrow for anyone who wants to come - the boys organise lots of really sweet money-raising activities (cream tea, bouncy castle, tours of the school) and it's a great day out. I'm baking for the pre-school bake sale, and as there lots of vair nice designer labels in the nearly new jumble I'll be behind a table with DS from 12 to 2!

In fact maybe I should get there earlier...snaffle the best pieces before the public arrive Smile

Xiaoxiong · 21/09/2012 17:07

I've been getting more and more emails about things that will be happening at the fair tomorrow - a raffle, tombola, smack the rat, chupa chups lucky dip (everyone wins a lolly!), guess the number of sweets in a jar...it's so lovely that the boys cannot think of anything that hasn't been done by every school everywhere since the year dot Smile

Although I suppose it's a sign of the times that there's a game of "pin the earphones on the iPod" with an iPad 3 as the prize, and one of the houses is raffling off a signed shirt from some Chelsea player. I wouldn't be surprised if it was donated by some parent that owns Chelsea FC.

Thanks ladies, my job is safe, un fortunately Wink they have effectively halved our team (but not fee earners) so we will be doing double the work Hmm

How funny, Xiao, I am a legal PA Grin I can't look for work at the moment though because of maternity leave/pay. I'd owe them a huge chunk of money!

We're off to DNieces' birthday party tomorrow. SIL is a brave woman - they're 1year and 1 day apart (3 and 4yo now) and she's preggo with the 3rd, due in April Grin

Had terrible nights sleep - F was awake every hour! Very unlike her. She's apparently been full of the joys of spring today though so bob knows what was up last night Confused

Ds slept for 2.5 hours after baby swim i didnt know what to do with Myself he hasnt slept like that in day for months so of course i sat squarely on my arse and read a book.....very decadent.

Tomorrow we off to the Wiltshire country show to walk in the mud it's brilliant they have a falconry village, events like ferret racing, chainsaw wood carving, so many stalls brilliant food all in the grounds of a country manor. Hoping the weather holds.

House arse continues, we have three viewings tomorrow and am trying not to focus on how gutted I am that we can't have fantasy house. I need patience, it coyld be months til we find somewhere and even then it may not work out... Am alredy sick of keeping things tidy and not being able to find things due to putting stuff up in loft....

Busy couple of days here, so just about keeping up with the thread. Apologies for lack of name checks.

figgy loving the decadence, well done you Grin. BTW, did you know that Next currently have a T-Shirt with 'Dan the Man' on it? I couldn't get the right size for DS, but have an 18-24month one for when he's bigger.

Tooth 4 finally poked through Weds afternoon, so have had a couple of better nights. Snot is almost gone from me and the DC's. DD still doing well with potty training, although not cracked it yet. And best of all we were in court this morning and won....only 11 months and one court case later and we're getting our deposit back from the landlord of our London flat Grin

kate glad you won in court!

aethel house selling sucks, glad DS finally has his first tooth though!

My parents have got an extension, though they weren't aware of half of the stuff their solicitor told ours, which I told them and they didn't know about. They're now worrying they'll lose the house, surprisingly they weren't worrying before Hmm.

Eva has been in 12-18 month stuff for a while, and is already outgrowing the bodysuits. She just needs the extra length though, I think 3-6 month clothes would be about the right size in width. She's the same height as my almost 2yo neice!

LMF what do you want to do at uni? Hope you got that application finished yesterday.

Anyone have nice plans for the weekend? Today I'll be mostly hiding as Eva had me up at 3:50.

for the court-based shenanigans!:o

I'm torn, if I apply to start now I don't get to do the course I really want (History & Religion joint honours) as it has no part-time provision. If I apply for 2013 intake, I can apply for the course I want, but depending on the processes in the uni there could still be no part-time on my preferred course, and I'll have wasted a year:( Tough call. I'm hoping to pop into the department tomorrow and ask them some questions. It helps being local, the uni is only a half hour walk from my house:) If it looks like its not going to be doable I'll apply for the single honours and consider my free electors carefully.

I feel too old to be faffing like this >_

Sky is comfortably in 9-12 month clothes and has been for about a month.

LMF I think it's brilliant you going to Uni. I'd love to go I just can't afford it tbh - want a new kitchen more lol!

DH is doing a wedding photo shoot today, so the girls & me will go and spend the day with my sister. Smile

I can't really afford it either, but if I don't do it I'll be stuck in a rut for years. It's now or never:)
