Glad you had a good night DSM, what sort of charity was if for?

figgy sounds like a bad night, hope you're able to hand him to DP for a few hours. What are you going to the party as?

aethel science museum sounds brilliant, nothing like educational fun!

Not a great night here, DS has a cold and won't eat anything. Despite this he claims he's well enough to go to the park Hmm. I think we'll wander round to my parents as a compromise, they live near the chemist and I need neurofen anyway.

Nearly new thread time!

I'm hanging figgyboy decided to have an hour long screamathon this morning at 3am, this was after me going to bed 1.30 and my first wake up at 2.30!! He then ended up in bed with me and basically woke me up every half hour until he'd decided it was up time at 7. Tonight is cartoon character fancy dress party which will be a late 1 I could do without now Sad

good day out. dDs loved the science museum (there was a special live show thingy with lots of things exploding) and DS explored the basement section which was a big tactile and lights sensory area, tired him out nicely. Then had sushi for lunch at kulu kulu and bought an inordinatr amount of swanky cheese from the swanky cheese shop by south Ken tube station. Then home. Need a quiet weekend to recover!

Hope those cuddles are good oi....

Indeed Northern but we were informed yesterday that our bitches Assistant Secretaries start on 19 November! I'm most unimpressed that one of them is called Ria! That's my name and I much prefer being Tigger the only one!

Glad you're in one piece seven, albeit knackered. Only two weeks to the scan though, wow- we'll all be there with you in spirit, can't wait!

I'm sure you'll knock 'em dead MissZombRee in the meeting; it is getting laughable now though, with the amount of people having left/been made redundant, the amount of work that people are meant to cover. I know it's far better than being out of work, but it's no bed of roses at the mo.

Guess you'll have been smothering the BOi in kisses and cuddles for about an hour now Oi, and you're both loving it. What have you brought him and DP back? Hope you enjoy a lovely night in and a good family weekend.

And...wow...just....wow figgy, that is immense. Impressed he waited until at someone else's house too Wink

Not wonderful here. Rib still a bugger- it's like when I was pregnant and had the sciatica and was yelling out at work; everytime I sneeze it's followed with an 'aaaargh'!

Worst thing though is DP's work and his application for flexitime. The original offer- turned down. The offer to work afternoons to cover their busiest period, as needed- turned down. The offer to do three normal days and two afternoons- turned down.
Meeting with HR today, they told him he'd got the wrong end of the stick with all their offers and his appeal was confusing (WTAF) and offered him.... 11-5. Despite us saying that it needs to fit in with the nursery periods of either morning, or afternoon, or short day, they offer that.
Soooo, he'd be doing fewer hours for less pay, but we'd still have to pay a full day's nursery costs.
Angry arses Angry

Tonight we will mostly be sulking at DP's parents for not taking us to Florida with them tomorrow Grin if I ever get off this bloody coach

I am SO glad this week is over. I have been in charge this week and my "deputy" called in sick this morning so not only did I have my work, the person I'm covering and cover for all the redundant secretaries, I had to cover her work too! It meant having to figure out a rather involved process for work streams which HAS to be done on a Friday and which I've never done before!!!! I managed though. just

Still, hopefully it will make a difference in my promotion meeting next week...

Jealous of the science museum shenanigans Aethel! I'm hoping to take the minions next summer, as Squidge has been desperate to go since forever. We'll do natural history too, as Boo loves a bit of dinosaur action:o

Today I shall mostly be throwing clothes away. We have too many!

Oh my lord poomageddon has struck it was everywhere I had to throw him straight in the bath at 6.30 when he woke me up. It was all over clothes, floor, his legs then his hands under his chin!!, my arms Confused. He then had another poo in the bath he was stinking all day yesterday with frequent gas attacks now I know why!!

In all the excitement he didn't go to sleep until 9.30 last night and then couldn't get comfy so woke me at 12, 2, 3, 5 and then 6.30 with little grunts and moans not fun!!

The science museum sounds cool today I think I'll be taking my mum shopping she's having a gastric bypass on Tuesday and needs the distraction!!

Y'know, I only just got that Kate [hblush]

Although I got up with DS, he fell back asleep around 6.15, all curled up on me in the bed, and I dropped off with him as I didn't have to run for the train. Absolutely lovely, although when I woke I realised I'd drooled onto his head and his hair was matted down..spent ages fluffing it up so it didn't look awful for nursery!
It's DP's turn on 'DS duty' tonight- I think he quite likes it as he gets to curl up in the bed with DS if he wakes early...

Have fun watching the DCs figgy!

kate, that's priceless! (groan) Hope the blood tests are illuminating.

DH announced that it would be "really sensible" for us to go early to the Science Museum tomorrow (he has day off work). He reckons leaving house at 7.30ish should do it. I remain to be convinced that levering the DDs out of bed at 6am is sensible in any way. If they bounce up at 5.30 along with DS (am so sympathetic northern!) then that's ok. But I'm just not a morning bunny and no amount of stressing that it will be busy is going to get me up earlier than I need to!!

Greetings from bonny Scotland DS has his 17 month cousin to play with for next 4 days. Loopy exhausting to watch!!

In terms of sleeping I don't think DS has ever done a 7, we've amazingly had 3 6.45s this week that's a record!! It was 6.05 again this morning which we just get on with anything before 6 is not tolerated!!
