Wahey! Am back from Bristol, and managed to get back in time to give DS his evening feed. Am now relaxing with a fecking enormous cocktail
, and looking forward to our curry.
Conference was very good, but given the stats (which, in broader terms, I already knew) about the numbers of children in care who end up in prison, it just made me want to adopt. Very, very
.
So sorry to hear so many others are going through grim illnesses of all stripes. This is the really un-fun bit of parenting; not sure which is worse, being an ill parent to a well child, or vice versa...
I had to totally Mum up about the fact that DS cried when he came to me and went back for DP- DP's been at home with him four days straight, and DS had not slept all day, so I didn't take it personally! He was happy to get his bf though.
Have fun up north hawthers, hope the period pains don't bugger up the night out, they sound awful.
And so pleased to hear about the six night success Gee, but if it continues you probably will suffer for a while whilst your body re-adjusts. It's the same syndrome as people getting ill when they go on holiday, or (do ignore this bit) dying when they stop work..you keep on going for as long as you have to then keel over when you get to relax
!
