An in tears for the second time this morning and it's only 8am.

S threw his monitor at me and it hit me in the teeth and set me off.

And Dh thinks he's helping but comments like 'try and go out today' are not needed. Does he think I've liked being house bound since Friday? I said we would go to the co op (2 min walk) he said you should try and go to the park, to which I said it was easy for him to say but I haven't been able to go far without feeling faint. He said I'm just trying to help. You haven't been out since fri to which I said I was well aware of. He's gone to work with the hump with me and I keep sobbing.

Dh was out last night and it took S an hour to go to sleep cos he had good naps yest so didn't go down til 940. He then woke up at 530. I bought him in with us but i barely went back to sleep again and Dhgot up with him at 630. I think I got about another 10 minutes.

S isn't happy at being house bound either and is getting frustrated with his toys.

We will go out today and I hope I feel ok cos I'm getting depressed Sad

How is everyone?

chillikat · 20/06/2012 13:40

Aww, big hugs kitty. Hope your day has improved.

M seems a bit better, or she's back to BF at least - there's still a blister on her tongue so I'm not sure if the desire for milk has got the better of her and she's feeding through the pain or she's found a better position. She did cry in pain for another 20 minutes or so last night but I'd left her with DH while I had my first evening out to watch the football :o he did text asking me to come back but I didn't get it for 20 minutes as there was no signal in the pub. She was asleep again by the time i got home and slept til 6.50!

Kittycatcat · 20/06/2012 13:53

How unfortunate for dh Wink

We seem to have a bug free house today. Neither of us has been ill and we went out for the first time in 4 days. Hurrah.

Starshaped · 20/06/2012 15:07

Glad you're starting to feel better Kitty and it's good news that M is feeding again Chilli Smile

Now, has anybody got any matchsticks for my eyes? DD has decided that 5:30 is getting up time and nothing can persuade her to stay in bed any longer. It's been going on for a few weeks now and I fear it's here to stay. Needless to say I am not impressed...

Kittycatcat · 20/06/2012 16:33

Eugh not fun chilli

Kittycatcat · 21/06/2012 22:21

V quiet here today...everyone ok?

chillikat · 22/06/2012 13:23

I'm here. How are you Kitty? Has your week improved?

Gys won't be around because my dad is probably in the library there asking her lots of awkward questions :o

Kittycatcat · 22/06/2012 16:25

Yeah we are both well again thanks chilli

Lol Grin

Glaikit · 22/06/2012 16:33

Hello! Is it too early for Wine?

Glad to hear you are all better kitty. How's kitten coming on? I think you are about as far on as my friend at work. We were in a meeting yesterday and I saw her bump move! I got very excited and the mn in the room just looked Confused

We are in the midst of a thunder storm. It's ace!! Lightening and thunder rumbling away and the smell of fresh rain! I love it (as long as I'm indoors)!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 22/06/2012 16:36

Kitty what a yucky time you've had! Glad you are all better :)

chilli - how is M's tongue?

My periods have come back today, finally! I knew they were on their way because I ovulated while we were on holiday.
I feel rubbish today, all achey and tired out. Really not relishing the thought of having another 15 years of periods...

Kittycatcat · 22/06/2012 16:42

I see kitten move now Grin I love it. It's definately in a different position to s. much lower down.

Starshaped · 22/06/2012 21:03

So much for bloody summer. Rain, rain and more rain here today. Wish we at least had some lightening to make up for all the flood warnings...

Is it just me, or are there an awful lot of us missing at the moment? I can't remember the last time I saw lots of Aprilites - Mrs W, Aussie, JoeW, Gsy to name but a few. Hello if you're lurking!

Ok, question for those of your have BF and stopped. How long does it take for BM to dry up. I've not fed DD for a couple of weeks now and my boobs feel soft and lump free now. However, I looked down at my top today and realised I was leaking everywhere. Thankfully I was wearing black, so could disguise it. I've had to dig the breast pads out again...

chillikat · 22/06/2012 21:07

M's tongue looks fine now, thanks Ali. The tooth must have grown a bit or she's changed her latch to accomodate it. She seems to be feeding as usual now.

I'm bored of the rain too - I'm hoping it's got it all out of the way before we go camping the week after next.

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 22/06/2012 22:18

Glad M is better, Chilli. And glad Team Kitty is better.

Sorry to hear you're feeling rotten Ali.

Wish we had some 'thunder and frightening' Fizz Glaikit, just more rain here today. Probably the same tomorrow. And Sunday Hmm (

Glaikit · 23/06/2012 09:12

Ugh b hasn't slept all night. I stayed up ith him til 2 then dh got up at 3.30 til 8. Now I'm up and he is shattered but screams anytime we go towards his room. He has a cold, soi thnk that's the problem, but even calpol didn't do anything to help. It's going to be. Loooooooooooong day.

Kittycatcat · 23/06/2012 10:03

Oh god glaikit Sad. Lots of coffee for you today.

Glaikit · 25/06/2012 10:04

After the night from hell on Friday we had 2 normal nights thank goodness. He is still full of the cold, but a top molar appears to have cut, so that would explain it. We really aren't used to broken nights, so when we do have one its terrible.

He is really not eating much just now either meal wise, he will wolf down melon and raisins and buttered bread but that's it for now. He had 2 spons of wee rabid this morning. And a handful of raisins. But he's drinking milk ok, so I don't think should be too concerned yet, but if it goes on any longer I don't know what to do.

Kittycatcat · 25/06/2012 11:32

I know that feeling glaikit. Glad you had a chance to get some shut eye. S hasnt been sleeping at all well. He is also teething. I gave him nurofen at 12 last night and he actually slept thru after that, thank god as i am back at work today after being ill. DH has him for 3 days as the inlaws are on hol. I have 14 working days left :)

Glaikit · 25/06/2012 11:38

Til mat leave????? Omg how fast has that gone?

Kittycatcat · 25/06/2012 11:46

Yurp. I know! I am starting early cos of not wanting to commute during the olympics. So hol first then straight into mat leave :)

Glaikit · 25/06/2012 12:11

Shock that's unreal! What's your due date again?

I'd imagine it very sensible not to want to commute during the games. I avoid Edinburgh like the plague during the festival and that's small fry!

I'm off tomorrow without b! So I plan to mend my slattereny ways and reclaim my dining room from the toy store/laundry it has become. And do some batch cooking and baking.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 25/06/2012 12:44

kitty good move on the early mat leave! Are you leaving S at nursery?

We have had two really good nights with T. He slept 8.30-8am on Saturday night, and then last night he went 8-8 with just one wake up.
The downside is that it seems to mean that he has dropped his daytime nap! Shock

It does seem to be helping him be a bit more settled during the day, he is a bit less clingy, and happier to play rather than rampage.

Kittycatcat · 25/06/2012 12:51

Official due date is 24th sept but seeing consultant on 14th august to get c sec date. Enjoy your day tomorrow glaikit. We have more toys than house!

ali S goes to his grandparents but will be with me and the baby at home. I know they wll have him if i need a break but i would rather he was at home with us as long as i can cope. Am absolutely bricking it. Good effort on the sleepfront from T.

The front runner for bubbas name at present is Aiden....

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 25/06/2012 12:58

kitty you will be fine. I won't gloss over it, being 8/9 months pregnant with a toddler and then having a newborn and toddler is bloody hard work, the hardest thing I have ever done.
BUT
It is lovely, things like DS1 coming to cuddle me and DS2 when I was feeding him (this still happens in the mornings actually! :)), all sitting in bed together looking at a book. Lovely, lovely :)

Glaikit · 25/06/2012 13:02

Love aiden, my friends wee boy is ayden, so it's out for me, but it was my fantasy boys name when I was growing up along with liberty Hmm for a girl!

My scare the other week has made me realise I think I do want another, just not right now. But that's a big thing for me I think. We will reevaluate when b is 2 and take it from there.
