Hello!

Good news Milward about dd.

I have 4 classes a week Wabbitt all on a Tuesday. So very tired today!! Well done on your weight lose - I lost 1.5lbs this week - was a little disapointed as I had been very good - but these things happen at their own pace!!

Nikkinoo · 22/03/2006 22:01

hello everyone

wabbit sent you an e mail,

night night x

wabbitintheheadlamps · 23/03/2006 02:11

Rolling into bed (almost) - madly busy day and late late evening at my sisters... Milward - such good news about dd1 Smile

SR - oh you poor thing, they could have spread them over the week you'd have thought! which would you prefer? getting all classes done and dusted in one evening and having the rest of the week to spend with your family or doing one or two a night over a few days?

Nikkinoo - thanks Smile

Right - seriously off to bed NOW!

wabbitintheheadlamps · 23/03/2006 02:15

oops - meant to say ta for your encouragement, it'll really help me to keep off the pannini and other fatty savouries that are my weakness stopping me from losing weight x

mummyhill · 23/03/2006 08:07

Wabbit - Does that mean no more cream teas when we meet up for a chat? Or are you allowed to sin occassionaly?

ych · 23/03/2006 09:27

Hi all, not posted for ages but try and catch up every couple of weeks. Joel is now 27 weeks and we just got him weighed yesterday, he is 19lb 2oz! He's above the average for his age but HV says he will soon slow down once he's crawling. He eats any veg and fruit we try him with, I've been doing it from the Annable Karmel book. I go back to work for 3 days in 2 weeks, dreading it.
Sorry to read about your troubles Wabbit.
Congrats to Nolonger. I'm starting to get a bit worried as I'm now about 2 1/2 weeks late. I've done 3 tests but they're all coming up negative. I'm getting a crampy tummy, feel bloated, etc, but they just havent arrived yet....
Glad to hear all babies are getting on great. x

Simplyred · 23/03/2006 09:45

Hello ych - glad to hear all is good with you and Joel.

I'm happy doing 4 on one day Wabbitt - it means I only set up and dismantle my stuff the once, bank once, send returns to head office once and I'm only commited to work one day a week. But I'm aware the lady I'm taking over from was very good for the first one, good on the second,ok on the third and flagging by the final one!

Any one having fun on mothers day? - I've got to deliver 3000 leaflets - the joys of being self employed! Take care all xx

ych · 23/03/2006 10:17

Hi Simplyred, Mothers day for me is going to be the same as any other day as dh is dayshift, working 8am til 6pm. No breakfast in bed for me!

beatie · 23/03/2006 10:45

Hi everyone! Grin

It's sunny today. I love it when the sun shines... I feel much more energetic and motivated, hence I just listed an item to sell on ebay and I'm just about to vacuum the downstairs of my house. It's didn't get done at the weekend and now looks, well, highly unpresentable. I'd be ashamed if anyone came round. Blush

We're away on Saturday night to a big family gathering at my inlaws. I think I should start packing now! I'm not sure what to do re Alice. I'm never that comfortable breastfeeding in front of my FIL or BILs but Alice is feeding a lot. She currently has 4oz of formula added to 4oz of breastmilk for a dreamfeed so I could give her a bottle of formula in the middle of the day BUT my milk production has rocketed and I fear I'll end up with those horrid leaky wet patches.

Can you tell I'd rather just not go? No-one else in the family has children and ours are seen as somewhat bothersome if they get in the way of MIL's plans. dd1 gets very overwhelmed by strangers or large groups of people so we'll need to give her our full attention and MIL criticises us for that. Oh well, I guess we ought to go out of duty. We see my family much more than DH's.

I've skipped toddler group today. I have so much to do.

Hope everyone is well and also enjoying a sunny day.

milward · 23/03/2006 11:13

thanks for the kind thoughts everyone xxx

here I'm getting through the day with only having slept from 1-3.30 & then from 6-6.40 - ahhhhhhh ds4 coughing until he throws up. He coughed so much last night in bed that when he threw up it just went upwards - & I couldn't see where it had landed!!!! Still can't find the sick!!!! - at least it's breastmilk so doesn't smell so bad (not at all in fact!!! - very odd)

Miricle - got up & all kids ready for school & got to both schools early!!! had to have a shower as covered in sick - but this didn't make us late. Also we ran out of fuel for the heating & hot water this morning - but luckily found a company who could delivery straight away - strange as well as normally have to order in advance.

anyhow will stop my rambling - hope everyone has a goods day xxxx

Simplyred · 23/03/2006 12:07

Ah milward sounds a horrid night - hope ds is perking up.

Beatie - hope it goes ok at pil's - the things we have to do for family harmony!

milward · 23/03/2006 13:52

Thanks sr :)
Good luck Beatie!! - bf could give you the excuse for time out! I leak alot & have to use double breastpads - boosts the cleavage somewhat!!!

wabbitintheheadlamps · 24/03/2006 00:43

Mummyhill - Cream teas are diet food aren't they??? Grin

SR - I'm glad it fits in well with you. Hope you really enjoy it Smile

Milward - Noops in the throes of some viral thingy - Your poor little man, the disappearing goop's got me Grin though, and oh dear Hmmm I've come to the conclusion I can't smell baby goop anymore rather in the same way a smoker can't smell tabbacco smoke Blush

Beatie - hope you manage to enjoy some of your stay. Stressful when relatives aren't of a like mind, you have to mind your p's and q's and can't just say what you want. Just to keep the status quo

Hello YCH - thanks for your concern Smile

Mother's day - well I wasn't planning on anything but the P called tonight and plans to be up on Sunday. Don't even know if he realises it's Mother's day.

hope everyone's well - and here I'll impart some advice that my Aunt always used to give us as we left her house... Don't put beans up your noses! Grin

Nighty night all xxx

Simplyred · 24/03/2006 07:36

Thanks for the advise about beans Wabbitt - I'll try not to - but I always want to do what I've been or even bean told not to!!!! Have a good day all - raining here!

mummyhill · 24/03/2006 10:21

Ohh goody when do you want to meet up next? Nikknoo you are welcome to join us you can mail me on windyjo1athotmaildotcom if you want. It is one of many email addies i use so i don't mind giving it out iyswim.

I will try to remember not to stick beans up my nose!!!!!!!!

Good luck SR. Sorry you won't be having fun on Sunday but hope it turns out to be a rewarding task.

PiccadillyCircus · 24/03/2006 10:25

But I like sticking beans up my nose Grin.

Don't take away one of my few pleasures in life Smile.

Alice only fed once last night Smile. At 2am. She woke at 6, but both DH and I were too worn out to get out of bed (we have moved into her room for a bit) to get up and se went back to sleep until 8.

DS is ill Sad. He slept from 7pm until 8:30am and is asleep again. He said he "feels a bit yucky". I also have a throat infection I think. And it is raining.

Rhumba · 24/03/2006 12:39

milward -hope you had a better night last night.

Rain here as well. We are going to visit friends today and will stay over till tomorrow evening. I am really looking forward to it.

Nikkinoo · 24/03/2006 13:12

Hi mummyhill was going to ask if you fancied a meet up too, what about the easter hols, will email you and wabbit about it x

Hope all mums and babies are well

have a jolly good weekend

wabbitintheheadlamps · 25/03/2006 00:34

Hiya All - another late night post Smile

He's got a TOOTH! Smile Smile

Popped out of nowhere, I thought he might be going down with N's virus thingy last night but no evil nappies today so thought we'd sidestepped it - then in the supermarket this evening I was letting him chomp on my knuckle and I felt a little sharp toothy-peg so his under-the-weatherness yesterday must have been his teething!

It's a very shy little tooth and we've only had the weenyest glimps but I'm hoping it gets bolder for when I want to show it off Grin

Mummyhill - I'd love another meet-up, you suggest a day, I'm not tied to fixed obligations like you other than bumps and babies on a Tues pm and Thurs pm - I've not been on the computer in the day/evenings so we've not caught up yet, I either seem to be madly busy in the evenings or I end up falling asleep and losing all track of time Blush

I hope everyone has lovely Mothering Sundays

Best Wishes xxx

Simplyred · 25/03/2006 07:38

Morning!

Good news Wabbitt about C's tooth!

Nikkinoo · 25/03/2006 10:29

Hello

hope that everyones woken up to sunshine sunshine sunshine.

have a great weekend, and a wonderful mothers day

wabbitintheheadlamps · 25/03/2006 16:18

It's drizzling here now but the morning was sunny Smile Not that I knew much about it - poor baby with the most violent sickness and diarrhoea here - N's virus thingy run amok Sad

N's much better though and has gone 'window' shopping with a friend of mine and her daughter.

I'm washing everything that baby sick and baby have been in contact with... my poor ironing basket is now wondering if it'll ever be empty!

Have lovely days everyone... Nikkinoo - I've e-mailed now, just took alot of thinking about to reply to your last x

pooka · 25/03/2006 18:18

Poor C Wabbit. What rotten luck - fortunately Tom escaped when dd was laid low. My hands are still dry and sore from all the handwashing I did when she was sick.
Spent morning in EmDoc waiting to see doc as dd has ANOTHER ear infection. :( Hey ho
And I lose an hour's sleep tonight!

Simplyred · 25/03/2006 19:08

Oh no wabbitt - sorry to hear C's poorly. And Pooka I hope dd's ear infection quickly clears.

I'm so tired - baby Rachel, DS, House work, promotion work and setting up the business is taking its toll - and as you say Pooka one hours less sleep!
