Where is this fabulous place that you call 'outside'!? Grin

Nikkinoo · 16/03/2006 10:10

Hey wabbit did you get it??

Simplyred · 16/03/2006 13:03

Hello all!

PiccadillyCircus · 16/03/2006 13:30

The sun's entrance yesterday seems to have been a one-off Sad.

beatie · 16/03/2006 14:03

It's bl**dy freezing here! :(

beatie · 16/03/2006 15:00

PC - Do you belong to the Baby-led Weaning Yahoo site? If so, how do I get into it?

PiccadillyCircus · 16/03/2006 15:06

Yes I do - let me find a link for you (can't remember if I've posted anything or not Blush)

PiccadillyCircus · 16/03/2006 15:10

\link{http://groups.yahoo.com/group/B-LW/\Here is the home page}

Can't remember quite how I joined but there must hae been something fairly simiple Smile.

A;ice is currently doing combination of BLW amd me led weaning (although she keep grabbing the spoon and putting it in her mouth Smile)

Weaning is much more rewrding than it was with DS

beatie · 16/03/2006 15:22

What foods are you giving your Alice?

PiccadillyCircus · 16/03/2006 15:31

She's had carrot, apple, pear, banana, rice cakes I think. All have been finger food except apple. And all have also been pureed (except rice cakes Grin)

I have cooked some corgette and brocolli but these haven't been tasted yet. She seems to be having three meals a day already - with DS (weaned at 20 weeks) it took ages for that

beatie · 16/03/2006 15:35

Wow! I'm thinking I'll do cereal in the mornings and spoon feed her that then give her the rest as finger foods to try herself.

PiccadillyCircus · 16/03/2006 17:57

Corgette and brocolli were met with enthusiasm (althiugh I'm not sure how much went in the mouth Grin). I also think I cooked them too much as they had a rather "melt in the hand" texture Blush.

wabbitintheheadlamps · 16/03/2006 21:42

Only just managed to get to the computer - dd on MSN all evening... Nikkinoo - no sign of your e-mail Sad have managed to have a peek twice today but nothing new in Sad

Would you mind trying again?

DD's been off school today with this headache and sickness bug, she's looking a bit better now though and I hope she'll be back at school tomorrow, it's impossible to work with the two of them in the house.

Are your Alices in high-chairs now PC and Beatie? C's just a bit too wee to go in a highchair yet but I'm hoping as soon as he's sturdy enough I'll be able to do more finger foods as he'll have a tray to catch the fallout! - PC, 3 meals a day already? C's just upped himself to two as he wasn't settling after his evening feed, are you using recepies from Annabel Karmel's book?

Sorry to miss others out... but hellooooo to all obviously Smile

Oh and yes, our sunshine was for one day only too, back to cold, cold wind and sleety rain bbbrrrrrrrrgh

x

Nikkinoo · 16/03/2006 21:54

wabbitintheheadlamps · 16/03/2006 23:30

Nikki - found you now Smile must have got delayed somehow x

pooka · 17/03/2006 07:09

Hi there Nikkinoo. Glad you're well.

Tom is eating like a horse. Started maybe 3/4 weeks ago but seems to have almost missed the really really pureed stage. His highchair arrivd yesterday and so he and dd were sat next to each other for meals. Very sweet although dd kept saying "I'm a baby" and throwing her food on the floor! As a result there was a fair mountain of scraps under the table (they both have tripp trapps so no trays which is a pain at this stage but dd loves her chair and it gets less messy in ... oooh ... maybe 6 months!).

Tom seems to be sleeping better now, thankfuly. Only one feed a night although dh oes in maybe a couple of times to reinsert his dummy.

Roll on summer!

Nikkinoo · 17/03/2006 07:22

hey Pooka

Happy to hear baby Tom is doing really well. They are at a lovely stage right now arent they? Getting really responsive and really developing personalitiies.

charlotte is eating too her fave is carrot mixed with califower cheese. I did worry about giving her dairy but she copes really well with it.

She thinks its great fun to blow rasberries whilst eating, so mealtimes are a very messy affair Smile.

The kids are really great with her even though she is grabbing their books off them and trying to eat them and pulling DDs hair when she gets too close!

wabbitintheheadlamps · 17/03/2006 10:46

Morning!
Wowling baby here - deafening up close - hungry boy!

Simplyred · 17/03/2006 11:39

Nikkinoo · 18/03/2006 10:42

Morning

Gosh some of the people on other threads are so forthright with their views. Whatever happened to a person having a right to their own opinions!
Wink
Hope all mummies and babies are very well.

Charlotte isnt rolling or sitting up yet Went round friends house yesterday and her baby is very active.

Still i know they are all different i shouldnt compare Smile

Simplyred · 18/03/2006 11:25

wabbitintheheadlamps · 18/03/2006 14:31

Afternoon Everyone -

Nikkinoo - yes they're all so different. One of the bumps and babies LO's is only 3 weeks older than C and she's been sitting up for ages Shock we tease her mum and say she's really about 12 months now!! they all get there in the end Smile

SR - what a lovely thing to do! Have loads of fun Smile

We're in the middle of getting ready to go to C's 'girlfriends' (not really, another b and b joke!) Naming Ceremony. Little Matilda May... When they lie on the same blanket together they hold hands Smile [dying of cuteness emoticon] Smile

Have good weekends all xxx

Morning everyone

Wabbit the email i sent to you is playing up. It hopefully will get there.

Feel really lazy today and I have the last of the parties a swim party this at six tonight.

Feel really down I had a drink last night and got a bit silly and weepy. i really had to hold it together all day yesterday as kids had several parties but on the night i just crumbled.

C seems to be picking up on my feelings as she is really irritable too.

Have a good day bye
