delia meant to add don't even give a second thought about people who may frown upon you working full time. If they even think it they arn't worth you knowing. You are doing what's right for you and your family, and what suits and works for one family (like working or being a SAHM) doesn't work for every. I remember you pre work on mat leave and now and you seem so much more confident and happy having work in your life, and so much more happier with C. Just as you like work and having your own space and time (and need to work financially) doesn't make you a worse mother. If anything, you seem to really enjoy and savour the time you do have with Claudia .

Well ive had flowers (stealth boast) and i am in agony from my old breast cancer war wounds.It happens from time to time but i neeeeeed painkillers and have none so im dressing gingerly before going to the shops.Good job Ella is around.

All good at ENT with Thomas. We are like the Vonn Trapps when I march all of them in. He is so sweet, shakes the consultants hand and says 'nica to see ya'. Very proud. Then he said 'are you gunna cut it off?' about his ear when the dr had looked in his ear. Everyone fell about laughing.

ledkr hope the pain has settled now and that Ella has been a good nurse. Wound pain can be awful. I worked in intensive care and rehabed amputee patients for years (before staying at home wiping bottoms) and so I completely understand wound and phantom limb pain. Hugs.

I got from DH a random mismatched bunch of flowers . He goes to this place by the side of a main road to buy them and he tells me he gives them how much he'll spend and lets them pick whatever, which usually mean a bizarre mix of odd mismatched colours which never go together as he gets whatever the flower stall seller wants to get rid of . I am grateful for something though

Yes blizy I had a hot date with midwife last Valentines Day morning, but as I was always over a week late, I wasn't really expecting much

americanexpat my due date was 16th, so she was only a day early but everything happened quite quickly, I was a bit out of sorts all day but put that down to the running round after the girls. In fact Mr W insisted calling my sister at about 9.30pm and we got to the hospital at 10.30pm and she was born at 1.30am on 15th

Well, Noah is gorgeous and Fabby at the moment, he's so playful and funny. He's blows raspberries on my arms now, and is so much fun, laughing and being silly. I love him to bits. And Ben is brilliant too! I feel so loved up and I'm not even drunk!

Ello ello,thanks so much for the good thoughts,im still in pain,went and bought some voltarol so bit more bearable,i literally cant pick anything up so the house was hilarious when dh got in. Its more pain from the radio therapy as it had made my pec muscle very thin and taut and it just pulls sometimes.

He made a lovely thai curry btw with pink champers too.Not in an apron naked though.

I had a bath and thought about putting something sexy on;then as i was carrying a nappy of pooh opted for my spotty pjs

Ella is on a high cos im taking her to get a couple of hamsters tomorrow,her last one died a while a go.

wiggs Ive always been a bit of a laid back momma.I took the dc to India after my divorce,we had scruffy house on the beach with cockroaches and everything we ate in street huts,swam win the sea with stray dogs and all slept in a big bed with a massive mossy net,they thought it was the best time of their lives. Im very strict on manners,respect and doing as they are told though.

ems glad you are enjoying your lads.Dilly was delightfull today too,we went to see my Nan and she was half asleep in her pushchair doing the royal wave,it was lovely to see Nan laughing so heartily.

borg LOOK AWAY VOMIT ALERT

Reached new lows with Imy, after yesterday's poo art. She was sick in bed last night, which I discovered this morning when she woke up. Managed to avoid most of the teddies I think but it was well caked into her hair . Baths and washing machine on again.

Weigh in tonight and somehow I managed to lose 3lb over 2 weeks, which means I have now lost 4 stone!! Yay!! Then came home and ate chicken satay, sticky rice, yakitori beef and gooey chocolate pudding
