wiggles that must be so hard for them. I hope they can take her home soon.

blizy and other OBEM devotees, meant to say I watched that episode this week on the edge of my seat, almost bit my fingers off with worry, that poor woman and her DD. Then realised that she was actually 1oz LIGHTER than Sabine was. I was so, so lucky and bucket-fannied, evidently

Four4me · 10/02/2012 21:30

You make me laugh deb you wanker jacket wearing bucket-fanny........... Hee hee hee

blizy · 10/02/2012 21:42

Ha ha ha Debka! When they told the baby's weight I actually thought of you(not about your bucket stretchy fanny though!)

Ha wiggles- your poor sis, she can't bland a big baby now. Seriously though, I
Glad they are both well.

Ledkr- how is your sister, when is she dye to pop?

blizy · 10/02/2012 21:43

Bland= blame. Stupid phone

blizy · 10/02/2012 21:44

Oh ffs, dye= due! Really should check my posts before I send them.Blush

MizK · 11/02/2012 12:37

Hello everyone! Sorry been absent for aaages, busy month our way :) Off to catch up and will post more after!

debka · 11/02/2012 21:29

Interesting day today. Bean has decided sleep is for the week and only slept for 1 hour today in the morning. This is nothing like her, she normally loves her sleep. I tried for an hour this afternoon to get her down, but she just would.not.sleep. My theory is she is so dead keen on walking at the moment that she doesn't want to miss a minute walking time. What do you reckon? Anyone else experienced this? She went to bed ok at 6.45.

Made her cake this evening cos family are coming over tomorrow. It's a big 1, covered in pale pink buttercream, with 'Bina' written in Smarties and glitter and silver balls all over it. Not elegant or stylish in the least but she'd gonna love it.

O golly had a Choking Incident yesterday, forgot to say. Took her and Imy over to my mum's so she could watch them whilst I went shopping, was just putting on my coat to leave 5 mins later when my mum thumped on the door and handed me a screaming Bean, effectively saying 'she choked, I thought she was going to die, and better she died with you' Shock She'd picked up some sequins and put them in her mouth, then choked. She caught her breath and coughed loads as my mum brought her over (100m) and was fine by the time she got to my house. And guess what was in her nappy today? 3 sequins.

Hope all well and having fun. Whose is the next birthday??

tadjennyp · 12/02/2012 00:50

Shock Shock Shock at the choking incident. Sounds horrifying. The cake sounds lovely to me! Hope you have a lovely birthday do!

ledkr · 12/02/2012 11:35

Shock At choking.I did an infant resuss course when Ella ckoked,i literally didnt know what to do.
I am in disgrace ladies.I drank too much (quelle surprise) and was in bed sick all day yesterday Hmm Poor dh we had planned a day of footy and nachos instead it was buckets and ice cubes. Blush
I felt tres guilty especially as he was so lovely to me.
wiggs wow, great about baby Emma. My sister is due in about a week but has lots of signs it will be soon. Im preparing to be left out of it all as usual as my Mum takes over with her precious girls. Its annoying as my sis was even with me when i had Ella, but its inevitable.Well Dills has been funny. She still isnt walking but is coasting swiftly. Her speech and understanding is amazing. She reminds me of ds1 when he was a baby,he went on to be pia though GrinWhen she is hungry she goes to the high chair and says mmmmm, stands at the fridge signing for milk and says Ella when i put on her cost to go to school. she is still sleeping really well too. shhhhh.
How are you feeling now blizy
44me I love a trip to the supermarket alone, for a good mooch through the clothes and stuff i dont normally do.
Is anyone expecting a valentines day treat,dh is normally quite good but who knows.I have just booked for a comedy club in April so il give him the tickets.May even push the boat out with a nice meal-no wine though.

ledkr · 12/02/2012 11:36

Oh sad about Whitney too.

blizy · 12/02/2012 11:54

Hi all

Debka- scarey about the choking incident!

Ledkr- boo to the hangover, hope it's not a 2 dayer? I'm feeling ok just now, a bit weepy but ok, thank you. Dh really pushed the boat out with v day, we had ours yesterday as he is working away next week. He bought me a watch and a charm for my bracelet, I did not expect it I usually get a card and a kiss! THe says it's 10 years worth of presents.Grin. We went out for a Brazilian meal. Was fab!

Emski76 · 12/02/2012 13:12

Welcome back Deb and how scary about the choking incident!

Ledkr, Noah doesn't seem to be too interested n walking either. He's happy yo cruise everywhere but no walking. He too is quite verbal though, and I def agree with you with the future possible p.i.a. I have a sneaky feeling I have one too! Boo to the hangover but hope it was worth it!

Was kind of surprised to hear about Whitney Houston but saddened. She was such a talent, such a waste.

Am enjoying my relaxing day, been back to bed for two hours already now watching tv. Lovely. Shame I cant have any naughty snacks tho, must stick to SW!

Four4me · 12/02/2012 14:11

ledkr not interested in the hangover, I want to hear about all of the drunken exploits (when you remember them!).

Poor Bean with the sequin choking. Glad she is ok. deb her cake sounds fit for a princess!

Sound like dh has been lovely blizy good for him, you deserve it. X

Enjoy your time off em

My two babies are better now, yeah. Joey was sick twice yesterday, but no where near as bad. He and Tom are playing on their ds's atm, so he can't be that bad. Archie is miles off walking, he cruises and stands and holds on, but can't stand unsupported yet. None of mine have been early walkers so no surprise there. I have got his 9-12 months check with the hv tomorrow. The appt came in the post yesterday. I didn't even know he needed one, they have changed the checks they do so bloody often. They have been at different times for all four of mine. anyway it'll be nice to sneak off with just him for half an hour my mil is coming to look after T, J and Im.

Enjoy your Sunday afternoons, hope babies have nice long naps (Bean!!!!)

blizy · 12/02/2012 18:29

Meant to say earlier HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASSIA. X

reastie · 12/02/2012 18:40

Hello all and welcome home deb (if I haven't said so already Blush )

deb re: naps - is it bad that my first thought was no wonder you manage to do all that cooking etc with bean sleeping so long in the day? An hour is on the lower average for alice Hmm . That is uber scary re: choking. Alice choked on a breadstick and couldn't breathe and I had to wack her back a few times before she got rid of it and she looked so scared and screamed and screamed after Sad

four4 glad health is slowly returning. I haven't had anything through yet on a 12 month check so I'm not sure if we get one

It's odd re: whitney houston as on Friday evening I randomly thought about her as I was remembering when I went to one of her concerts years ago, and I had forgotten I'd even gone to see her in concert Hmm

I spent AGES on Saturday morning making Alice some beef meatballs with a tomato sauce and baby pasta (following AK recipe to the letter, and I rarely cook with meat at home as DH and I are veggie) and she refused to eat any of it Angry [sigh] . She did, however, manage to eat her own weight in organix carrot sticks over the week end Hmm .

Well, whatever cold/bug Alice had DH and I both now have it Sad - so much for a fun filled half term.

blizy how lovely of your DH - he's a keeper Wink . I have no expectations from DH at all but I will live in hope. I expect the best I will manage from him is garage flowers. I usually get the 'I never have time to.....' line for these occasions, then I remind him he has time to play his stupid computer games and faff about ordering goodness knows what from amazon when he wants to Hmm . I've got DH the infamous room thermometer Grin and a nice card and am going to try making him a cake of some description, oh, and the annual homemade heart shaped pizza Grin

ledkr are you feeling alive yet? Wink I take it it was a good one? Oh, and love how Dilly is so clever Grin . Alice does the sweetest thing when I'm in the bath in the mornings and Alice is running riot in the bathroom occupying herself she drags her bathseat she has in the bath over to me and tries standing in it and looking longingly at joining me Grin

wiggles how is baby Brona doing?

ILovePonyo · 12/02/2012 19:51

Hi all, I'm back from mother ponyos :)

First of all - HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASSIA!!

I have had a poorly girl this weekend too, somthing must be going round. She did about 20 poos on Saturday (ok maybe I exaggerate - it was 8) think she had an upset tum. Plus she was a right whinger, so glad I was at my mums, I would have gone mental being at home with her on my own.

Today we have been shopping and bought party dresses for her for Tues Grin I 've just looked on the next website to link to them but they aren't on there Confused

Will catch up now - but reastie A often refuses to eat any delicious Annabel food I spend ages making and instead eats crackers Hmm

ledkr hows your 'ead? Grin

Four4 glad your babies are better, what a relief.

deb choking sounds so bloody scary but I did Grin at the sequins in the nappy

Right back later on people

wigglesrock · 12/02/2012 20:19

MizK Happy Birthday Cassia Grin

Had a lovely day yesterday, have posted some photos, one is of Anna and Emma (quite difficult to say together Grin)

If you say walk to Anna she goes and gets her coat - she has been hanging around the dog too long Blush. She has been blessed with the smarts but is still a crap sleeper and eater unless its mince based [shrugs]

Brona may be getting discharged this evening/tomorrow morning Grin

Right off for a catch up - am very upset re Whitney, I loved her when she first came out, I was only 10/11 or so and worshipped the ground she walked on Grin I loved her just for being her, it was before I liked music to impress boys or fit in with friends or the cool crowd etc Grin

blizy how's your cold - I feel dreadful, am stuffed up and can't taste anything Sad.

blizy · 12/02/2012 20:52

wiggles photos are fab, Emma is beautiful. Love the one of Anna climbing, she looks like she is thinking "now, how the hell do I get back down?"
I am feeling horrid too, think I have sinusitis again. Im feeling sorry with myself this weekend, with being ill and dh working away again next week (ov time).

Fab news that Brona is better. How was Anna's party?

ponyo Hope Anya is ok.

reastie He is defo a keeper - he is my "lobster" Grin

wigglesrock · 12/02/2012 21:03

blizy Grin at lobster. Annas party was great, really relaxed. We did it old skool Grin - sandwiches, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, giant bags of wotsits etc. She is completely enamoured with Emma, we were all up at my Mums today and Anna kept trying to give Emma stuff like a pencil case, a book, a flake Blush etc.

Anna got lots of lovely clothes and teddies and a very noisy talking octopus - cheers pils Grin. Think we are going to have a quiet day on Wednesday - girls are at school but finish on Wed for a few days so we might head to soft play hell fun!!

Four4me glad Archie and Imogen are on the mend

blizy · 12/02/2012 21:08

Party sounds fab! Anna sounds very cute with Emma Grin Good luck with the soft play during a school holiday-yikes! I too will visiting soft play on Wed with baby mindee but the schools go back here on Wed.

debka · 12/02/2012 21:19

wiggles gorgeous photos, and what a clever girl climbing, amazing!

ponyo whingey babies are so much easier when you're out somewhere aren't they. Hope Anya's bottom is better soon. S had a gold star in her nappy today Hmm

I didn't tell you, Bean's nickname is now Jaws after she bit a friend's baby so hard on his cheek that she almost drew blood. Deep tooth marks and big bruises Blush. We thought she was giving him a cute kiss Blush

reastie yr DH sounds a bit lame atm. Mine is also lame but I expect nothing so am pleasantly surprised when he manages something nice. I'm meant to be at SW Tues night but DH says he wants to Do Something Together (ooer), so I'll just get weighed then rush home for a shag Grin

We had another new word today- Bean walked to the window, pointed and said 'SNOW' (btw it was snowing Grin)

ILovePonyo · 12/02/2012 21:34

wiggles lovely lovely photos as always, Anna is so clever, A is v wobbly in comparison! Annas party sounds great, proper party food too Grin We made jelly for A at my mums, I thought she'd love it but she she just jabbed it a bit with her finger and then threw it all on the floor Hmm

deb Grin at the gold star! Bean is clever isn;t she, A kept saying dada this weekend when dp wasn't there ... hmm. Possibly not blessed with the brights as wiggles would say :)

blizy aww at your lobster, love that :) Boo to being poorly, hope you feel better v soon.

Am watching the british film awards, Helena bonham carter is on, I love her the nutter

wigglesrock · 12/02/2012 21:42

ponyo Mr W has been besotted with Helena from he first saw Room with a View, she's on his "list" Grin Anna doesn't like jelly at all, S & O could both eat their body weight in it. Somedays Sofia would just eat jelly and cheese, thankfully not together Grin

debka A is a bit of a biter on the sneaky as well Blush

ledkr · 12/02/2012 22:16

Deb Dills bit me really hard the other day and when i shouted in pain she pretended to be asleep Shock
44 I really wasnt out enough for any drunken antics apart from falling over in the promenade and meeting an au pair who was out with her employers and slagging off the baby everytime they were out of earshot Shock
wiggs Anna is so like you,and so sweet.Baby Emma looks so tiny,im prepared for my baby to look massive when baby Manny is born.

Can i ask, does anyone find 4-bedtime a nightmare.Dills has along nap late morning and wont have another after. She is hideous at 4 and climbs all over me then slides down before face planting and crying, and repeat.I actually had her bathed and ready for bed by 6 but Ella and dh came in and gave her a second wind.Does anyone go for a 6pm bedtime?

Grannyapple · 12/02/2012 22:36
