reastie I have a larger bra that I got from here. It has had no use at all a lot of wear. Grin

BTW I Very Much Doubt you are a 46 back, that is big- I am a size 24 (it's all the bloody cakes!) and wear a 40 back. We won't discuss my cup size Grin

TBH I always think the Queen looks like she could do with a good bra fitting Wink

Think my girls are sickening for something too, both whingey miserable sods today. Imy had a sleep but still seems tired. Internet virus perhaps?

ledkr defo not the time for CC if D is ill, just try and be gentle to yourself in the meantime :)

reastie just looking at that webpage- scroll down- I am particularly enjoying the Glamorise Sports Active, niiiiiiiice and glam Grin you'd pull in that love!!

OP posts:
reastie · 08/09/2011 18:23

oh yes deb that glamorise one defo lives up to it's name Hmm Grin . Tbh I can't possibly see how I'm a 46 and have gone up from a 38/40 in a few weeks Hmm . It makes me Angry as if I didn't know better I would walk out of the shop in ignorant bliss at being misinformed by supposed experts. I'm going to stop going on about how great they are at fittings now. I've ordered 5 sports bras in varying sizes to hopefully find one that fits. hope they arrive in time Grin

ledkr hope tonight is OK with the dillster with her cold Hmm

am just hoovering in prep for the royal visit tomorrow Wink

janedoe25 · 08/09/2011 19:12

Evening all,

ledkr I hope Dilly is feeling better and sleeps well tonight fro your sake. I did post on that thread, it gives me so much peace to think I may be helping someone who has also lost a child.

ponyo hope you are having a great day!

byron, hope K is ok.

Grin at reastie and her 5 bras, hope one fits. Shocking service at R and P Angry

Right, I'm back on a major diet. Soups for me until the wedding Sad. I just tried on my dress for my friends wedding and it's too tight and It's a bloody size 18 Blush. I am so ashamed of myself, I tend to comfort eat and with DF working away a lot I find myself just eating out of boredom. I will loose weight it will be good for me and with the ttc!

ILovePonyo · 08/09/2011 19:28

Oh you are bloody joking I just wrote a big post and lost it.

Anyway, have had a lovely day and thank you all for birthday wishes, made me Grin Mother ponyo came today, we went for lunch and a big walk, was lovely. Got nice presents including converse from A (where is puss btw?!) and moroccan oil, very mn! And a load of chocolate oh dear. Dp has gone to get us wagamama takeaway for tea bless him :)

jane I think I am going to try and walk for an hour every day (basically the walk I did today) - I'm rubbish at excercising at home and havn't done wii zumba for ages. I also eat without thinking about it, once all my b'day choc has gone I'm going to go back to no choc/crisps etc, think I have to do all or nothing, can't just have a little bit of choc. Do you like soup? I don't but think it could be a good way to go Grin Like what you said about making your girl proud, made me tear up a bit thinking about how proud Z must be of her mum.

Don't know whats up with all the naughty non sleeping babies atm, heres hoping for better nights for everyone.

Right I'm inviting myself to a Brum meet up if you have one, its v near where my mum lives so I'll stay with her then come say hi! Exciting!

Have read but can't think properly so reastie good luck tomo Hmm and where is wiggles with her cookery update...

wigglesrock · 08/09/2011 20:12

Evening all, well I'm a bad Mummy, had just unloaded groceries etc this morning and my sister rang, so went shopping and had a yummy lunch with her instead of slaving over a hot hot hot stove Grin Although beef and veg stuff casserole is in oven now, Mr W lovingly bought me a cheapo hand blender this morning Hmm It is not my anniversary present, am afraid he'd be out the door if he tried that Grin

jane you do make Zoe proud, you make all of us proud xx I'm a wild comfort eater especially when tired which doesn't bode well at the minute.

Ponyo Glad you had a lovely day, Sofia used to buy me converse, Olivia prefers to get me boots Grin

reastie hope tomorrow goes well, Anna has got a tooth coming up in exactly the same way as A. Sofia lost two teeth this week, she now has no teeth basicially at the top of her mouth.

When I do manage to maintain a weight, its porridge that helps me to do it, just the microwave (quelle surprise Grin) one, I substitute it for a dinner.

chocoroo · 08/09/2011 20:24

Evening all!

Good tip about porridge wiggles I might try that at lunch times. Nice and comforting and I can always have some fruit or something later...hhhmmmm.

ponyo Sounds like a good birthday has been had. Am well jel of Waga's take away. We used to eat out all the time and although it's good for the wallet I really miss it!

Jane you'll get there for the wedding. Can you do lots of walks with the mindees? Maybe take the long way to school pick up? I can recommend the couch to 5k thing too. You only run for a couple of minutes to start with.

reastie bra shopping sounds nonsense. I went to Bravissimo and they took me down 2 back sizes and up a couple of cup sizes but my boobs have never looked better! (They feel horrid but that's another story)

deb I'm sure we're getting the Internet virus too. Unless R is going to pretend to be getting a tooth again and then not actually bother.

Byronic Hmmmm. Not sure Athens is on the M5?!

If anyone is seriously up for meeting in the midlands let me know though. It'd be cool to meet. We could develop a secret handshake or wear roses so we know each other!

Well, R has been a grumble weed all day. Lots of random screaming and whinging. I'm knackered too which doesn't help. DP is really late home too so had to do bedtime alone. He's playing football now and was so late he had to get his mate to come round and get his kit for him so he could go straight there. I am not impressed. At all. Raaahhhhhh!

ILovePonyo · 08/09/2011 20:31

Boo to dp choco, raahh indeed. dd has been grumping all week (as have a lot of babies on the thread it seems) what is going on?! I am deffo up for brum meet btw, might be a faff arranging it but sure we can manage!

wigs good tip re: porridge and good move going out for lunch, always better than cooking at home Grin

Wagas was lovely, yum yum, we're watching 2nd epidose of the danish Killing now so better go, night all :)

NeedToSleepZZZ · 08/09/2011 20:39

Hello there,

ponyo glad you've had a good birthday and hope you're having fun tonight whatever you're up to Smile

wiggles I LOVEyour approach to cooking, I think that since getting pg I've become more and more like that and I used to be such a foodie.

ledkr so sorry about the lack of sleeping, sorry I don't have any answers but thinking of you, and all the other mums going through this Sad

Jane you are so incredibly strong and I wish you knew how much you've changed my, and others on here I'm sure, outlook on motherhood. Zoe is so lucky to have such an amazing mummy and when the time comes her brother or sister will be equally as lucky.

I'm in Hastings, another seaside town but not as grand as others so would prefer to travel to see Byron if that's okay with everyone? We could all get cheap tickets I'm sure Wink

We had our first outing to London (sort of) today and Ben was so worn out by it that he went to bed at six, cue an early start tomorrow no doubt Hmm

reastie have you had a look at these? They might be okay. I remember having a fitting in m&s a few years ago and a snotty woman told me they didnt do my size and I was mortified and haven't been measured since. I do have a chest now but it seems to be disappearing again Sad.

Grannyapple · 08/09/2011 21:10

Evening ladies...sorry to ear of awkward wee bubbas (was gonna put a much stronger expletive in there...but thought the mumsnet police might delete it Smile).

ponyo many happy returns...sounds like a lovely day!

I second what debka said re: leaving them to cry in cot...they get used to it fairly quickly & it makes such a difference to your day. I too left him crying in his cot for naps once he moved into his own room at about 8 weeks!

Who was it that lives in Folkestone? debka?? I'm passing your way on saturday as we're off France for a week via Eurotunnel so will wave in your direction about 7.30am Grin.

I'm in Bromley but only 10 miles from London, if ever there's a meet up in the big smoke Grin

See you all week after next...hoping Nate sleeps fine when we're away, unlike our last visit to Glasgow where he didn't sleep through once Hmm

ledkr · 08/09/2011 21:16

Hi all, thanks for your sympathy.I am actually in heaven now,dh is sleeping with D and i have the bed to myself, have a cup of tea,a smal amount of chocolate syns,my new zombie book and torchwood then sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.Dh on a late so will sleep in the morn if needs be.Dilly has a nasty cold and has already woken up once as cant breathe,dh is going to try saline nose drops if she wakes again.

I am doing ok with my diet jane tiny bit off today cos im tired but not too bad.I am weighing in on Monday so will let you know if it works,i have ordered the food book from the bay of e not joining a club.
I have been walking a lot too, cant seem to find the shred energy atm but i will do.

wiggles Were you scared last night of the face licking mummy killer?

Some bonkers threads on mn today,i have been crying with laughter.
Find the one in aibu about the dh who wont let ds join the choir in case he develops a "side mouth" i was literally pissing myself.

wigglesrock · 08/09/2011 21:18

Grannyapple have a fabulous time, am very Envy

Well, have cooked and mushed up the beef, sweet potato and apple casserole, very impressed with my culinary expertise, Mr W was floating around the kitchen making oh so funny comments such as "is this what other people do in the evening?", "what is that lovely smell?" Hmm He can piss off if he thinks I'm buying the popcorn tomorrow. We are childishly excited about our afternoon off tomorrow Blush

NeedToSleep I'm with you re the easiest place to meet being Athens Grin

ledkr · 08/09/2011 21:19

reastie no advice re massive babalons here im afraid im still practically in my trainer bra-36b boo.

ledkr · 08/09/2011 21:22

Ah wiggs thats nice, you inspired me to book a day date with dh next wed Grin dh usually comes in and inhales deeply mmmmmm something smells good. Hes joking of course, there is never anything cooking!

wigglesrock · 08/09/2011 21:28

ledkr I remember that thread when it was first posted, I read it to Mr W, he was most affronted Grin - he was in the Choir whe he was little, his family are all singers, mine on the other hand couldn't hold a tune if our lives depended on it! I've been enjoying the one posted regarding the woman who is upset that her 3 year old has been given bread and fruit and birthday cake at nursery Grin.

I'll be honest, I toddled about the house when face licker was on [bleurgh]

reastie · 08/09/2011 21:30

ledkr a side mouth??? Hmm Grin . Hope you get lots and lots of sleep tonight.

needto those bras you linked to - there's only one of them that sells them in my size and they are the same ones I bought online earlier Grin - must be the one and only company that sell sports bras in my size Blush . Not wanting you to feel bad but it makes me feel a bit better they didn't have any in your size in m&s and IMO you are a very normal size (I did Shock a bit when you said that).

jane can I join you on the diet? My NHS fat fighters starts next wednesday ( wiggles - there's another one for your ocd diary). I'm still at the point of actually avoiding seeing people who haven't seen me for a while as I'm too Blush at how I now look. I admit I felt mortified at R&P telling me they didn't stock sports bras in my size :( (they were v nice about it though)

debka · 09/09/2011 05:13

Bloody hellfire it's FIVE AM and we're on the sofa. Woke at 4, S woke about 4.45, fed her, she didn't want to go back to bed, DH swore when I left her crying Angry so here we are. Up. At 5 in the morning. It is completely dark outside. If she does it again tomorrow I'm sending the troops away and leaving her to cry again. [mean mummy]

OP posts:
tadjennyp · 09/09/2011 05:15

Sorry debka. All 3 of mine were up at various points last night and with dh away I was bloody knackered all day. Still, Anna had her first day at school and really enjoyed it. Hope Bean goes back to sleep soon.

debka · 09/09/2011 05:24

Hi tad! TBH I don't really know what to do with my little Bean, she's tired and grumpy. How do you get yours back off to sleep? I wish I had a massive house so I could just put her back to bed in the East Wing Grin

Well done Anna on her first day, do they start at the same age in America as they do here?

OP posts:
tadjennyp · 09/09/2011 05:29

I think I come across as tired and grumpy so they know not to bother me once the initial problem has been sorted. Grin Anna is 5 already and Kindergarten is half day all year [fed up emoticon] and they do 9 -11.40, except on Wednesdays when it's 9-11. Barely enough time to get home and give S a feed! Hmm Hope she drops off soon.

debka · 09/09/2011 05:39

Thanks. She yawned so i put her back in bed but she wasn't having any of it. Now pushing her in the pushchair with fingers and toes all crossed! So much for CC! Half a day's not long, actually it's not even half a day is it!

OP posts:
debka · 09/09/2011 06:10

She's gone back off in her pushchair. Do I try and get another hour's sleep on the sofa before the other one gets up? Probably should... Going to be a looooooong day...

OP posts:
tadjennyp · 09/09/2011 06:30

yes, I'm in the middle of watching a french film which is good but I will have to call it a night too! Hope the day isn't too bad for you...

janedoe25 · 09/09/2011 07:34

ledkr I was doing sw, well my ebay version! I got so bored with it, I was doing the extra easy plan and lost nada, so switched to the red/green days which just confused the hell out of me!

reastie What diet plan will you be following? I think I am going to be surviving on soups, porridge and fruit! I need to to something drastic to loose some of this flab before my wedding.

debka Hope S has stayed asleep and you managed to catch some Zzz.

wiggles enjoy your date! Grin

reastie · 09/09/2011 08:53

deb Shock and Angry on your lack of sleep. Ahh yes, if only we all had that elusive east wing alongside the night nanny Wink . Can you leave her to cry down stairs or does that still disturb pesky dh?

ledkr| did you have a good night?

jane I am awaiting my first nhs session before properly going for it diet wise - would be a shame to lose 2 stone in the next 5 days and not be weighed in beforehand Hmm [crazy logic] . Tbh I'm stuggling with hunger/dizziness if I don't eat from bfing, not having time to cook meals properly and also being so tired all the time making me sooooo hungry. I'm hoping in the next month or so things will get alot easier when I'm (hopefully) feeding less. I've been doing my pn dvd though and fast walks (well, I was doing fast walks up until earlier this week when I got the mother of all blisters meaning I haven't been able to wear shoes with backs on all week Shock ). I think ponyo is right though - walking may be the way to go. Btw, did you ever get your double buggy?

Right, getting ready for this morning, feeling slight butterflies in tummy at leaving Alice with someone new while I'm out (even though it's only MIL).
