Evening girls

Jane so sorry about dfs gran, hole you're ok. Great your dress is ready, so excited for you!

mizk C sounds so cute that's adorable. M doesn't really do any tricks but he is deffo a mummy's boy and has started putting his arms out to me

wiggles your evening sounds delish - my dh is out on a freebie night with work so have the remote to myself. Small pleasures Grin enjoy your takeaway

ledkr torquay sounds lush, what a great weekend to be by the sea. Your comment about the choc/shit on hubby's make did make me laugh - how would you get either on your back???

Hello everyone else - haven't heard from 44me for a while

reastie (I know your away) and emski I know you both like making stuff, Good Housekeeping mag has an article of Xmas gifts to make, thought of you both.

Started slimming world last night, so tonights dinner is wedges with beans and cheese - mmmmm naughty and all FREE!

M is being a nightmare with sleep at the moment - doesn't want to sleep in day and keeps waking at night, then cries cos tired. Sooo frustrating

wigglesrock · 30/09/2011 20:50

40Weeks just a quick post inbetween courses Grin, someone on somewhere else I visit Grin has lost 20lbs in 7 weeks on SW.

Hope M settles, tooth on the way??

40Weeks · 30/09/2011 21:12

wiggles are you cheating on us with another thread/website?

One of the midwives that did a home visit post birth is in my SW group and has lost 1.5 stone is 6 weeks! I want to lose 2 stone

WeAreBorg · 30/09/2011 22:04

40 weeks slimming world? We know you're skinny, we've seen you. Do you think we're entering the 8/9month sleep regression? Hope Mikey settles tonight.

wiggles Congrats on the tooth. Although I had really hoped you were on to something with the foot thingy. Still gummy here, I wonder who will be last to get a tooth. Oh I know, it'll be Nate. Also last to sleep through, last to actually drink more than 20mls of water in one go etc etc.

jane 19th, not long now!!!

Oh sorry, not got round to everyone, boggle eyes is whining....

NeedToSleepZZZ · 01/10/2011 03:23

Did someone mention 8/9 month sleep regression? Angry Have headache and soooo tired, he's been up every ten mins since midnight, please make it stop! I know Ive been lucky in the past but how to make this stop????

debka · 01/10/2011 06:53

needto really hope he settled down and you are tucked up in bed fast asleep.

wiggles congrats on the tooth!

jane 7 weeks today, wow!

mizk totally impressed at C's tricks, clever baby!

40 i'm having bacon, egg, fried bred and beans for breakfast Grin

Went to seaside yesterday, was bloody boiling but lovely. DH moaned and complained about various things the whole time, am really looking forward to him going away today now. He is so negative about everything. Instead of being pleased that the weather was lovely yesterday despite it being the last day in sept he moaned that the toilets were closed. I have to almost block him out sometimes or he makes me so miserable and I'm not a miserable person. Sigh.

40Weeks · 01/10/2011 07:33

Get him some happy pills deb and crush em up in his cereal Wink
Breakfast sounds yummy, scrambled eggs

40Weeks · 01/10/2011 07:36

For me.

God Mikey is soooo whiney. He only stops when he is eating or sleeping. Poor needto I am feeling your pain if it's any consolation

Dh is off to football today so I have the exciting task of food shopping this morning and them thinking of something to do with the boys on my own

Emski76 · 01/10/2011 07:59

Morning all,
40, thanks for the Good Housekeeping tip, will look out for it today.

Need to, really hope Ben settled down, could it be teeth?

Noah is quite whingy at the moment too. Thought maybe teeth, but have noticed he cries if we leave him on his one, think he wonders where everyone has gone!

Wiggles, yah for tooth, am hoping the feet thing still works for you though.
Hope you enjoyed your evening.

Jane, only 7 weeks to go! How exciting!

Deb, sorry dh was a moaner yesterday. I always find my dh puts a dampener on things. If were out for the day he moans every time I spend any money, it really brings me down. Now were not rich but were def not on the breadline so deserve a treat every now and then and oooohhhh it annoys me!

Talking of money I've been on a thread about saving money and budgeting. Any tips here? Am really trying to get our credit card bill down, it's ridiculously high each month.

Off to football with Ben and Noah in a while then I have my baby Market at lunch time, fingers crossed I sell a lot more this time! Dh worked nights again last night so is in bed now but has the boys for the afternoon.
Have friend coming over for munches and x factor tonight!

Have good days all

chocoroo · 01/10/2011 09:36

Morning,

Good luck with the baby Market Emski

40 Do you have a paddling pool? Seems like a good option on a day like this!

deb Did DH survive the night? I usually just take the pee out of DP if he even thinks about behaving like that. Makes him cross but cheers me up no end! :o

Borg Are you making up this 8 month sleep regression? I'm blaming the heat at the mo. Took R ages to settle and she woke a couple of times.

wiggles Traitor. #thatisall.

7 weeks tomorrow Jane. yay!

Well, I'm sat watching the rugby pondering on my disaster of a morning. We have a wedding at 1:30, DP has gone out for breakfast with the groom, my mum is arriving at 10:30, and the frigging boiler has broken so Btitish Gas have been summoned to come between 8&12. I can't shower or do anything useful until Mum gets here as can't leave the house in case gas man gets here (already missing R's swimming lesson) even to pop to neighbours for a shower. Aaaaggghhhhhh.

Oh well, gorgeous weather for a wedding. I've had to revert to a summer outfit from the winter one I had planned!

wigglesrock · 01/10/2011 11:13

chocoroo crap about the boiler, have a fab day.

WeAreBorg deffo think the "free feet" is helping, suddenly occured to me that both Sofia & Olivia take off their socks and shoes as soon as they come in from outside. My poor mil is forever buying them slippers incase they freeze Shock I don't even know how much water A is supposed to drink - do we have to check?

Emski good luck for this afternoon, I got rid of my credit card 18 months ago and took out a loan to pay it off - its so hard, I know that next year it'll be slightly easier but I literally have no "emergency money".

40Weeks A is grumpy during the day too, she has started crying whenever we put her down to play, well more like screaming - think she may be a little dramatic Grin She has also started to shuffle over when the girls are playing something and "ruining everything", the three of them are already fighting. A is grabbing their hair while looking gleeful Grin

"NeedTo" Brew, hug

janedoe25 · 01/10/2011 11:38

chocco Another wedding? Shit about your boiler, hope it gets fixed and you have a lovely day.

needto sorry you had a bad night with Ben, hope today is better.

deb Tell dh to get over himself Grin. Hope you enjoyed the beach despite his mumping.

I am so jealous of those who have the sunshine, true to form here it is pissing down! We are off out today to get our wedding rings! I am so stressed at the minute, we have loads to do still and df is not bothering his ass! (he still has no outfit for the wedding) I managed to make all of the invitations yesterday, my dad is going to deliver them for me on Sunday. My psoriasis has reappeared all over my side and my ring finger is a big scabby mess! I NEED to calm down. Confused

40Weeks · 01/10/2011 12:23

Oh Jane you poor love, it WILL be ok, please try and relax, fellas just don't have the same sense of urgency as us but he will get his suit sorted. Enjoy your ring buying.

Good idea choc thanks, although they didn't seem enthused when I suggested the paddling pool. They will come round I am sure. Hope you got to wedding ok and boiler is sorted.

Yeah wiggles M is the same, does not want to play alone it would seem! Grrr

emski my mat pay stopped yesterday so am now at the mercy of handouts from dh and working out ways to work from home to void childcare. Let's win the lotto, shall we?

Hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend. I am just about to partake in some luncheon

janedoe25 · 01/10/2011 12:47

Thanks 40, I don't normally stress over things, but this a bloody nightmare! he has just spent over 2 fecking hours choosing a font to print out address labels! Angry

wigglesrock · 01/10/2011 12:58

jane you will get there Grin I promise. Mr W is the same - he pisses about taking ages to do the most inconsequential thing - he'd be like that about a font. He wrote my sisters wedding invites and envelopes for her (he can do fancy writing) and spent 2 days researching pens!!! Bear in mind this was just when A was born Shock. Still pelting it down here too.

debka · 01/10/2011 15:07

jane my God men are an absolute fecking nightmare aren't they? My DH would have been the same. It will all come together. Can you have a bath and try and relax?

Sorry jane and wiggles it's 28c here Grin, been playing outside all day. Watching the sainted Mr Tumble now.

choc bloody boiler Angry, could you boil a kettle and have a wash? When I was in Russia , once we had no hot water for the entire summer, I became a pro at doing my hair and body with one kettle of water! Hope wedding is good, you've got the weather for it.

Bloody DH is still here, tiddling about and moaning. Think he'll go in a bit, he'd better go, I have Plans for this evening- Downton Abbey and a Galaxy Grin

NeedToSleepZZZ · 01/10/2011 15:29

Hello girls,
Thank you for the support re last night, he eventually went to sleep about 6am in bed with us but wasn't happy. Not sure what it is, he's just had 2 top teeth through so hoping it's not more teeth, I think it might be the heat and the 8month sleep regression, whatever it is I have everything crossed that he'll be better tonight. Today I feel like azombie........

ems another one here who doesn't 'do' credit cards, I think they are dangerous. I have one somewhere I think but have hidden it from myself Wink. I know it's really boring but have you checked out sites like money saving expert (?) ? Make sure you are with your cheapest suppliers etc, we're about to switch to nPower from BG as it works out cheaper for us. Other than that, not sure really, it's so hard and I know what you mean about relying on DH for money.

jane take a deep breath and remind yourself that it is your day (well, and df's a well I suppose Wink) and you are going to feel and look amazing no matter what font you use on invites etc, it's you and df people are coming to see!

reastie · 01/10/2011 16:47

hello ladies I'm back - you can't escape me Grin . Had the most amazing weather in Devon - I had packed all winter stuff for Alice thinking it would be freezing and then had to go out and buy her some summery stuff while we were away Blush . Had a good time apart from the non sleeping baby alice who was up most of the night every night Angry - we nearly came home early we were so tired

can someone fill me in on what i've missed please???

WeAreBorg · 01/10/2011 16:48

Jane needto is so right, your guests just want to see you and DF looking lovely and happy, and of course access to booze, nobody is bothered about anything else. I remember fussing over table centres and fonts and all sorts (and I'm not really a weddingy person), and nobody noticed anyway cos they were pissed. I'm soooo excited for you though, but understand how stressful it is.

needto 40 apparently there is indeed an 8 month sleep regression, have lurked on enough sleep threads to know this. I think teeth and heat for last night though, hope Ben better tonight.

wiggles right going to try free feet tonight and see.

deb what a grump, DH is prone to bouts of incessant wingeing I usually take the piss. He calls it his melancholia Hmm

emski i stopped my credit card as I was rubbish at paying it off. All I can think of is making sure you have the cheapest deals for elec/gas/phone etc. Not much help sorry! We are hopefully going to become a one car house soon, if I can work a bit nearer by which will save quite a bit.

Nate seems to have worked out that his mirror makes patterns on the ceiling, he's spent ages moving it around and giggling at the patterns, can't be sure he's linked that one causes the other though

WeAreBorg · 01/10/2011 16:56

reastie!!!!

My memory is rubbish sorry. jane has her dress and only has 7 weeks to go! mrneedto has bought an all in one monkey suit much to everyones amazement and horror. But not his. mrdebka has been running around naked with the imprint of a toilet on his arse. We have all decided to book poncey photoshoots for the babies. choc has been to 40 weddings. Dilly can clap, Cassia can cuddle, none of them are sleeping, but wiggles has found the magic secret to baby sleep and is about to become a millionaire.

What else what else???

reastie · 01/10/2011 17:19

thanks borg i am Grin Grin at mrneedto and mrdeb s clothinh choices. needto can you 'accidently' shrink the gro in the wash to make it bensize?

wiggles what is this sleep secret you speak of?

jane hope df is helping wedding prep

I'm conteplating a photoshoot but not sure where to go for a cheap but good'un. We had some done when alice was teeny but we didn't buy any of alice on her own as they wern't v good, just got a couple of us as a family.

deb did i hear you're doing sw? how's it going? I've got my weigh in on wed but sure i've put loads on with all the ben and jerrys i ate on hol Blush

40 thanks for the xmas thing - will keep an eye out

was it borg re: miriam stoppard baby noises? i read that in her book too a few weeks ago and since reading it have been doing lots of animal noises with her all the time as worried I would be holding her back as the book told me she should know them Hmm

just want to do a Thanks in excitement at new smiley

reastie · 01/10/2011 17:20

oh and wiggles we are 1/3 way through fringe thanks for rec - tis something we both are enjoying Grin

reastie · 01/10/2011 19:38

Where is everyone? What did I say?!

Emski76 · 01/10/2011 19:58

Hey Reastie, I'm here. Just eaten Chinese now waiting for dh to bugger off so me and friend can watch x factor!

Glad you had a good break, shame about Alice's lack of sleep though.

The baby Market was busy today but I still only made about £20! Am gonna be putting most of the stuff on eBay or giving it to charity now.

Borg, love your description of what's been going on while Reastie was away, you really have a way with words, brilliant!

Is watching Johnathon Creek grounds fir divorce??!! Dh is such a loser!! No offence to anyone else who watches the pile of crap!

wigglesrock · 01/10/2011 20:04

reastie Welcome back, glad you had a good time. How are you feeling? A was up a few nights ago and I decided to change her nappy, as soon as I freed her feet from the babygro, she promptly did weird feet rub/shuffle and promptly fell into the soundest sleep she had in forever. So for the past few nights she's went to bed with no bottoms and has seemed much happier - she can be tad grumpy when she sleeps Grin and although she is still getting up once or so, she is going down again much quicker and seems to be having a better sleep but as a disclaimer Grin she also got her first tooth the other day!

Still Downton Abbeying, Mr W loves it Grin
