Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ledkr · 28/09/2011 09:03

Right this may be quick due to me having been cursed blessed with the whingyest baby on the planet who is also crawling teething and not sleeping too well!!!! Tinterent is back on but ill catch up properly later and see what you are all up to.Ive missed this tho, when d hasnt slept well its so lovely when others are having it too or i feel like the only one.
I have become so fed up with her whingeing that ive become adevotee of the baby group to keep my sanity.I have also hauled out my bike seat and we whizz everywhere which she loves.I havent told my Mum tho cos she hates them esp as me and Ella got knocked off ours. The weather is fab here i had to iron some summer clothes.Off to baby bounce and rhyme now will be back later, hope you are all well.Im looking forward to getting into some trouble on the other boards later too.

wigglesrock · 28/09/2011 09:36

ledkr glad t'internet is up and running, missed you Grin

jane I promised O a trip to the park after school, thinking it would be postively balmy, bit nippy here too and clouds looking threatening Hmm Big kiss for Zoe today and you can have one too Grin

ponyo glad you and dp had a chat. I think it can be hard for someone who is at work to understand the relentlessness of a baby sometimes. Work can be really hard but at least you can nip to the loo without company.

debka hope you get all done today, glad class went well last night.

Anna didn't have too bad a night, but up early, feel like it should be lunchtime already Grin

janedoe25 · 28/09/2011 09:51

wiggles as long as you don't slip me the tounge Grin.

AF is just about to arrive (at last) started spotting this morning. Hope this is the lucky month, we have decided to step it up a gear now, I'm going to use ov sticks and we are going to be very tired! Wink

wigglesrock · 28/09/2011 09:56

jane good luck with the ahem [cough cough] you know sex Grin

ponyo I usually avoid local programming like the plague, due to the fact that I know most of the people on the tv and the fact that its a little provincial Grin but I'm feeling much more kindly to it after the local farmer told Rhianna to "have a little respect and put some clothes on pet before you catch your death" when she was filming in his field this week Grin

debka · 28/09/2011 13:28

ponyo know what you mean about the weather, yeah it's nice and all but I haven't shaved my legs for weeks!! Grin Don't get too complacent about dd not eating the cat food, I caught Imogen eating the dog's food the other day Hmm

Tut tut jane gotta stick with The Plan Grin Any sign of AF btw?

Well the buffet for 16 turned out to be for TWENTY FIVE!!! They'd texted DHs phone yesterday instead of mine Hmm and not bothered to ring or email- I checked his messages at 8am today and this was my face- Shock then Angry then [o shit]. Managed to bake an extra cake, some more scones, defrost more bread and do another s/w filling but it wasn't fun. Done now though, should I charge them extra for the stress?

debka · 28/09/2011 13:29

Hey where did all those posts come from? They weren't there when I posted! Confused

OP posts:
debka · 28/09/2011 13:32

Right caught up now, don't know what happened there.

jane you get going this month, that baby's not going to make itself Grin

wiggles I know those mornings! Grin at farmer and Rihanna!

OP posts:
debka · 28/09/2011 13:33

Buggeration forgot AGAIN- to ledkr, missed you :)

OP posts:
chocoroo · 28/09/2011 14:47

Marking my place and off to catch up...R hasn't napped for two days - it's been interesting!

WeAreBorg · 28/09/2011 15:35

Allo allo,

Wow how hot is it? Went to see Jayne Eyre in the morning then went for a drink along the Quayside, was packed - I know why I'm not at work but why is everyone else off?

choc impressive non-napping there

deb I really would have just panicked and rocked in a corner. Thanks for the image of your DHs naked retching, pleasant.

jane I don't want to see you on here again, get to it!

wiggles Ha ha good for that farmer, I loved O the lactation consultant story, that girl needs her own show Grin

ledkr go forth and create mischief

emski no my DH conveniently never hears any crying either

ponyo clever anya, N is STILL going backwards. This has been over a month now, seriously, everyone I meet says they went forwards the next day Confused

Ha ha, Nate pulled for me today. Was on the metro and N said dada repeatedly to a chap sat next to me, I looked round to smile at him and he was rather handsome. I was a bit Blush. Yeh, that's my pulling story, far cry from the old days eh?

debka · 28/09/2011 16:25

borg would you like further embellishment to the naked retching man? When he came back from the bathroom I could see the imprint of the toilet on his arse. Grin

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 28/09/2011 16:46

debka yes but was the seat still warm Grin

WeAreBorg Anna is refusing to go backwards or forwards now, still shuffling, or doing a strange swimming kind of manouvre. Because she's so long if she lies on her tummy and stretches she can reach most things she wants and then she just sits back up again!

But more importantly was Michael Fassbender yummy? I heart him Grin

Went to park after O finished school, it was really lovely, we had a fab time, O even made a friend, well he followed her about until she let him play on the roundabout Grin

WeAreBorg · 28/09/2011 17:40

debka Oh that's a lovely heartwarming story, thanks a lot. He must have been there a long time though!

wiggles yes there was a bit of swooning going on in the heat, I tell ya. Am going to perv look up his bio now. Ooh can Anna actually sit up then? N can only sit if I sit him up myself. According to my "reference text" Miriam Stoppard seems to think N should be pointing and making animal noises now. Anyone doing this? N wouldn't know a duck if it bit him on the arse, never mind the sound it makes. Aargh, arse, that made me think of mrdebka, off to desperately find something else to think about

ledkr · 28/09/2011 17:43

Oh deb how did you not go off him? How vile.Dh is mostly extremely gorgeous but occasionally does something that makes me shudder.I remember he had a suspicious looking brown mark in his back once,he said it was chocolate but im sure it was shit.I have never let him forget it Grin luckily we were in the honeymoon period then.

How are the babies sleeping?

Dilly is going down about 7-8 and then sometimes sleeps until 5-6ish but sometimes wakes at random times has a bottle and then wont go back to sleep for about and hour.
Last night dh had to shush pat her about 22-3 times and then she woke at 5.30 for a bottle. Dh has takien over the night stuff and i do the early stuff,i have been so tired its untrue.I go to sleep about 9 every night and just cant cope with the night wakes.Im not sure if its the prozac or a reaction to feeling better but its weird.

jane sorry about af.Its so close to your wedding now tho so at least you can partake of the champers. It so frustrating tho isnt it?

I have a good thread running, its Best comebacks in chat, some very funny stories.

ledkr · 28/09/2011 17:46

borg D can clap-and clap and clap and clap- at baby singing she was clapping through the entire time apart from row the boat.
Miriam Stoppard must have been on crack when she wrote that, animal noises? I dont think so,unless you count whineing like a horse or crying like aDolphin.

ledkr · 28/09/2011 17:53

o btw,i got a good mat thing in asda,it sits on the high chair and you can stick the bowl to it for blw,its been great for Dilly. She is currently sat in her highchair having fishfinger chips and beans for her tea,i have completely given up on baby food as you can tell.

Emski76 · 28/09/2011 18:11

Hehe, Deb, to toilet seat print on dh arse!! I'm chuckling away at that one!

Good to have you back Ledkr, its been quite round here without you!

Following the inspiration of some of you I have just made a chicken curry for Noah and have put some aside for Bens tea tomorrow too. It tastes really mid but I figure if the boys like it I can gradually add more curry paste.
Dh and I are having a proper curry later, from a tin might I add though!

Had Noah weighed today, he's 21.7 lb, the hv said 'he likes his food then does he?'. I think what she meant was 'wow, he's fat!'.

I love hearing what D eats Ledkr, it really encourages me to give Noah more 'normal' food.

Off to bath the boys now, see y'all later

NeedToSleepZZZ · 28/09/2011 19:18

Hello all!
Wow, so much to catch up on so will have to get reading in a minute. heard from reastie today, she says hello to everyone and that she misses you all. ledkr you may like to know that she said a has been sleeping badly and they've been taking it in turns to stay with her at night. Other than that, sounds like she's having fun Smile

Phew, been so exhausted lately and had another migraine which meant couldn't even look at the computer screen for 48 hours. Not sure if it's related to my coil but I bit the bullet and had it removed today as it's just been a nightmare as been bleeding almost all the time recently. Also started having seriously bad night sweats, anyone else had these? OH thought I had flu last night they were so bad.

Enough moaning, B has 2 more teeth now, the top front ones Grin but still NO attempt at crawling. He does a sort of bum shuffle and lunge to get things or just whines until I give in and get things for him.
Stuff between OH and I is better now and we have a new routine with no chance for him sleeping which seems to be working. But, he came back from work today with what he claims is a dressing gown but is in fact a bloody monkey suit, complete with tail <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=primark+monkey+sleepsuit&um=1&hl=en&client=safari&sa=N&tbo=d&tbm=isch&tbnid=XED9Z0qS_hMUpM:&imgrefurl=www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRIMARK-MENS-MONKEY-SLEEPSUIT-NEW-TAGS-/270785784159&docid=y15iKAIpOBmSRM&w=114&h=300&ei=s0uDTsO2Os6M-wb5udy4Dw&zoom=1&biw=1024&bih=660" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here. honestly, I've told him that either he takes it back or I refuse to have sex with him ever again Confused

Right, shall go and catch up, missed you all and trusting there's stuff to make me laugh here please!

NeedToSleepZZZ · 28/09/2011 19:38

deb glad to hear you're better but poor DH

ledkr aren't you with talktalk? We've had probs with them too lately, Internet just decides not to work, so annoying. Well done D for clapping, B goes to singing and signing things and shouts sings along but no clapping and certainly no animal noises Shock

emski wow at N's weight, is he quite long too? I thought B was big but he's 18.1, you must have strong arms from carrying him and youre obviously feeding him the right stuff!

Jane boo to AF but agree that now you can down the drinks at your wedding, hooray! How are you feeling about it? Hope you're excited and not too stressed.

choc any naps yet? Hate it when you know they're tired but they fight it and will. not. sleep.

wiggles keep the stories about O coming, they're fantastic! Maybe you could contact LLL to see if they need any volunteers? Wink

Phew, off for a cuppa and cigarette before starting the ironing, dragging all the summer stuff out again but will probably snow next week Hmm

ledkr · 28/09/2011 19:43

wtf?? It is a monkey suit. Is it actually for him to wear?Omg,that is hilarious.
Ella wouldnt wear that-neither would Dilly i dont think Grin

Dilly is stil up as i am a single parent dh is working. Ella has dancing 4-7 so i had to adjust her nap time so she could stay up to pick her up with me.I now have no clue what actual time she will require to go to bed.
Dh is on duty again tonight bless him,hes sleeping in the spare room,we have become "that couple" no longer have sex and sleep in separate beds!!

Need to,i am still sweating all the time, its doing my head in,i was hoping for the menopause but Dr says no so i have no clue.Today it has been 25 and i have felt uncomfortable all day, this from someone who goes on holiday to the hottest possible places and sits in it all day.
Anyone else still sweaty???

ledkr · 28/09/2011 19:48

needto cross posted. I am with crap crap talk talk yes,i shall be leaving them at the earliest oppotunity tho,and yes my internet works intermitently but its not their fault apparently Angry
I also dug out the summer togs today, and had to iron them too.Am going to lay in it all day tomorrow-oh hang on a minute, ive got a baby so cant Grin

I am having some pinot blush and hoping Ella will go to bed soon so i can have a sneaky marlboro light!

NeedToSleepZZZ · 28/09/2011 19:59

ledkr yes, he actually wants to wear it, I'm serious with the no sex threat though but he just said I'm jealous I haven't got one... Angry Hmm
don't know what all the sweating is about, it's so horrible, my mattress was even wet last night. Normally okay in the day though, it's just the nights, like you I love the sun and the hotter the better (lived in southern Spain for a couple of years in my twenties which was bliss).

Oh to be able to have a day to lie in the sun with a book.... that's got to be the dream now!

Emski76 · 28/09/2011 20:05

Need to, wow to Ben having two more teeth! Noah is quite long but is basically a fat little piggy! He eats almost a whole small Tupperware container of food at lunch time. Was at my sis yesterday and she couldn't believe how much he eats. Ben is a foodie also and I am too, dh eats like a rabbit, really annoys me!

Monkey suit, yuk, makes me shudder! If dh dared to wear one of those I would send him off to sleep elsewhere, hardly a turn on is it?!

Ledkr, I'm still sweating ridiculously, especially on going from outside to inside. While Noah was being weighed today I was sweating like crazy, it was dripping down my face and back! I seriously do not remember bring like this before I had Noah!

wigglesrock · 28/09/2011 20:22

NeedToSleep I am caught between laughing at the suit and feeling a bit queasy Grin Wouldn't like to be wearing it if I was caught short, is it not absolutely boiling? Go on then splash the ash Grin

ledkr I too have been a sweaty betty in the heat today, not attractive at all.

Emski I'm slightly frighened to get A weighed Grin If A likes something, she will eat and eat it, but my Mum told me that when I was a baby, she took me to get weighed when she was weaning me and the GP said to her "you know you can stop feeding her at some point during the day" I've seen the baby pictures Blush

ILovePonyo · 28/09/2011 20:34

Grin to monkey suit Needto, what the frig?! Bet he wears it!

ledkr I am also a sweaty type, got some Sure deoderant that cost a fiver but it works a treat, makes my pits feel a bit plasticky so think it bungs them up Shock I like hearing what Dils is eating too, was wondering then I could try dd on fishfingers... Well done D clapping, I have been showing dd but she just smiles at me :)

Borg Grin at N chatting to random men. A is crawling forward but more commando stylee on her tummy, cleaning the floor for me as she goes Grin

I went to sing, wiggle and giggle at the library today - oh my god the woman leading it could not hold a tune, singing away changing key every 5 seconds and generally being hilarious, how people didn't crack up laughing I don't know. (I can't sing either I usually just mouth the words at these sort of things).

Am very confused about A's naps, they seem to have got earlier Confused and shes back on 3 a day not 2, weird baby Grin
