wiggles she sounds like such a character, bet she keeps you on your toes!

40Weeks · 27/09/2011 13:56

Oh please girls help me, Mikey is screeching in his cot, why won't he sleep in the day? He is soooo tired and just won't settle, poor O is stuck infront of the Telly while I run up and down the stairs. Feel terrible now as leaving him to it

debka I too am starting SW thus week, Thurs eve actually. Hope it goes ok tonight. I can't stop stuffing my face and jeans are getting tighter....

wiggles am chuckling away at your Olivia stories. Have you seen that kids prog called Olivia? I humm the theme tune whenever you retell an O story.

Owens bday tomorrow, he is very excited bit also confused as his party was Sat and he thought that was it. Poor sod. He is 3 (not 4 wiggles, naughty spread sheet memory Grin)

Glad the christening went well Hubbard yes please to photos.

Oh god he is still crying, better dash, hello everyone else sorry I haven't replied to all....

wigglesrock · 27/09/2011 14:13

40Weeks A has just went down for a nap, she only dozed in the car for about 20 mins earlier, and we have to get S in 45 mins [grr] Blush at ageing Owen, I was just testing Grin

The Olivia books are big in US I think, when we had her and told people we were calling her Olivia, my sil said "Oh like the pig", my mil was not amused Grin Sofia sings the tune at her to wind her up, but Olivia likes it.

janedoe25 · 27/09/2011 14:18

40 Hope Mikey has settled for his nap and you are ok? You are not terrible leaving him, it won't do him any harm.

40Weeks · 27/09/2011 14:24

All is quiet now, phew, we have about an hour before Thonas' school pick up

Sorry Jane about bfn, what the 'ecky pecks going on with AF? Must be very frustrating for you

Am on my phone so now can't go back to check what posts I missed - sorry if I have missed anyone out

Anyone been watching Mount Pleasant ?

Can't drag O away from the tv now, Mr Blooms Piggin Nursery [aghast]

debka · 27/09/2011 14:36

Am repenting for my lack of sympathy to DH, he has now been throwing up for almost 12 hours Shock. He is drinking dioralyte out of S's beaker in bed and groaning.

40 hope M stayed asleep, it's awful when they're so tired but won't sleep. We also have Mr Slightly Sexy Bloom on, but I have discovered that Imy doesn't mind if it's muted!!! What a revelation!!! It's so much more peaceful without the noise.

wiggles I can just imagine you going 'o shit' quietly to yourself halfway through telling O about the boy. Grin

Bit mental here, got to do lunch for 16 tomorrow and I'm waist deep in Italian bloody meringue having decided to do an English Walnut Cake I've never made before. I've also made a chocolate and banana cake, fudge, done the shopping and taken the girls to the playground. [exhausted] Oh, and refilled The Beaker a couple of times Grin

OP posts:
debka · 27/09/2011 14:39

jane grrrr to AF, it's a bloody bugger Angry

Thought you might all like to know that DH has refrained from dressing today so every time he has to throw up we all (well, me and the girls) get a an eyeful as he walks, retching, to the bathroom. Grin I am secretly hoping we get a delivery as he walks past [evil grin]

OP posts:
janedoe25 · 27/09/2011 14:43

debka Grin at your dh streaking! Must be a pretty sight for you Wink
40 hope M is still asleep.

Right Im off to pick up the gang from school.

wigglesrock · 27/09/2011 14:46

debka would that be a delivery of meat and 2 veg? Grin

jane hope you have a quiet funfilled afternoon.

debka · 27/09/2011 14:55

2 veg yes, meat looking a bit shrivelled Grin

OP posts:
40Weeks · 27/09/2011 15:01

Oi debka you filth bag! Wink

Yes m is asleep thanks and the ir

40Weeks · 27/09/2011 15:02

...stoopid phone

...irony is I will hVe to wake him for school run now!

40Weeks · 27/09/2011 15:03

So dh is naked and you're waste deep in meringue, I think you're all a bit saucy at chez debka!

40Weeks · 27/09/2011 15:04
tadjennyp · 27/09/2011 17:27

There would no waste of meringue if I were there, but then that's why my waist isn't exactly pinging back. Wink I hope dh gets better soon debka, that can't be any fun for you at all.

Wiggles, Olivia is hilarious! Hope Anna gets some sleep soon, same with Mikey, 40. Sammy had a 15 min and a 30 min nap yesterday - was a bit of a nightmare!

Hope things regulate themselves Jane!

Looking forward to the christening photos Hubbard.

You're busy emski! Hope your sale goes well.

Wishing you a much more peaceful night Borg.

Got a bike trailer at the weekend so I can tow Sammy along behind me while Anna cycles to school. Hoping that will start shifting some of my weight too. At least Edward's mahoosive birthday cake is gone now, just the packet of hobnobs in the biscuit barrel to go!

Speak later!

ILovePonyo · 27/09/2011 20:31

Evening all,

40 hope M is settling nicely for you tonight after today!

deb I don't know how you can get so much done with 2 girls too, I can hardly get my lunch together some days Hmm I was v unsympathetic to dp when he was ill too, but then by the evening he was drinking red wine so must have been feeling better...

wigs I love hearing about O too the little character, very funny Grin

tadj can we have a piccy of you all on the bike with the little trailer attached, sounds cute :)

jane how is df's granny? Shock at singing!

Watching the great british bake off, yum cakes :) dd was quite whingy today but has gone to bed no probs, fingers crossed for tonight (especially for you Borg)

byronicheroine · 27/09/2011 20:39

deb thanks for the images, overshare? Made me smile anyway! I'm in awe of your baking - I made fudge yesterday but it was Nigella's easy cheat fudge (good tho!)

wiggles olivia sounds great but a challenge! I'm fairly sure I was similar so I probably have some kind of payback coming!

jane boo for AF or lack of, I guess it will all take time to settle down- no experience with the whole POAS thing I'm afraid, K was a bit of a surprise! Now, you'd better get on with your 'homework' (swi!)

tad I'd love to get a bikeseat I think they are brilliant! I'm not sure I'd dare here tho...

40 we've got crying here too, don't know how I'd deal with more than one at all- still gettig used to this baby lark. I think I'm going to have to import some of the baby cocaine teething powders and see what they do. STILL no teeth here tho...

Well it's been fun here this week as there's strikes on all the time, meaning that traffic is crazy and everyone is in a bad mood! I might head down to the coast tomorrow and see if I can remember why I'm here... Although the parents were talking about a heatwave back home, so yay to the peeps on their holidays :)

byronicheroine · 27/09/2011 20:42

X-posted ponyo sleep vibes your way. K has been whingy too, it can be quite wearing, can't it?! He went to sleep ok, but then woke up crying a couple of times. I just did shush-pat type things and he went back off, but I'm thinking teeth. It must be, right? That or I just have a whinger sensitive soul on my hands!

wigglesrock · 27/09/2011 21:33

ponyo and byronicheroine A has been whingey today and has been up a few times for a few mins tonight, I too am hoping its teeth, but she is also getting up on all fours in her sleep and turning and whacking her head off the cot bars, not blessed with the smarts this one Grin.

Watched a documentary on local BBC about hotel we all used to get pissed in enjoy coffee in and was feeling all nostalgic and very old Shock, felt like I was 19 again, just as well Mr W is on nights, not sure he could handle the pace Grin

Hope we all have good nights, stern look at Anna and Nate.

Emski76 · 28/09/2011 06:45

Morning all,
I think Noah has caught the restless sleeper bug, he was moaning every two hours last night and I had to go into him twice. Am thinking it could be his teeth. He's also trying to crawl in his sleep, luckily he wears a grobag! So could also be a developmental thing.

Dh is working nights the rest of the week so am dreading Noah being the sae tonight, altho dh didn't seem to hear him cry at all last night (?).

Hope you all had good nights sleep.

debka · 28/09/2011 07:12

Morning!

DH is STILL poorly, been over 24hrs now and things are descending into chaos here- don't know how LPs do it. (he's put some pants on now BTW Grin) Got to do the buffet for 16 today, how the heck will I manage that with the 2 of them snapping at my ankles?

emski sounds developmental to me, here's hoping he's better tomorrow :)

SW was BRILL last night, she didn't even flinch when I stood on the scales. I feel really positive about the whole thing.

Right, think I'll get up and dressed and a head start on the day.

OP posts:
debka · 28/09/2011 07:12

BUGGER Imy's awake. DARN IT. There goes my head start!

OP posts:
janedoe25 · 28/09/2011 07:23

Morning girls

Boo to the restless night emski.

wonderwoman debka I am sure you will manage today. Fab about the SW last night. My restart didn't do well last night, we went for a curry with mil after leaving the hospital! Ah well, onwards and upwards today ......

It is very strange around here without reastie , ledkr and delia. Hope the holiday makers are having a fab time and enjoying the weather.
Supposed to be 24c here today, I think Glasgow has forgot it's supposed to be freezing and raining Confused.

Hope everyone has a good day.

ILovePonyo · 28/09/2011 07:39

Mooorning, I was lucky last night dd slept well just got her legs and arms stuck in the cot bars a couple of times Hmm

Grin at A wiggles "not blessed with the smarts" I will be using that phrase soon! Why was the hotel on bbc? Just seen it is local bbc, ah nice to get all nostalgic though (sometimes)

byronic hope you had a sleep filled night. Yes to the whinging getting wearing - if all the babies are whingy its got to be teeth hasn't it?! I have bonjela to hand today Grin

ems my dp seems to be able to sleep through dd crying too Hmm I feel like I'm awake at every little squeak.

deb good luck for today - I don't know how you do it! ah well at least dh has put on some pants Wink

jane 24 degrees Shock I prefer autumn weather to summer, was looking forward to getting my big coat out Grin

Had a moan at dp last night that I do everything (not strictly true but it felt like it at the time) he reminded me how busy he is at work (true) then had a bit of a heart to heart about how hard it can be with a baby all day, feel mich better to have got it off my chest.

dd is now managing to pull herself forwards on her front on the wooden floor, she is forever heading towards to cat food bowls and scattering the cat food on the floor (not eating it though phew)

janedoe25 · 28/09/2011 08:07

ponyo Im glad you got things of your chest. I prefer Autumn too, this hot ness sucks! Grin
