Need to, agree with you, Gary Barlow is looking gorgeous. He was always the fat, ugly one when I was younger but wow he's yummy now. Even dh and mate agreed Gary was fit last night.

wigglesrock · 18/09/2011 21:01

NeedToSleep I know, my sister and I were watching X Factor this afternoon and almost fighting over Gary, my poor dad had a look of deja vu about him, it almost got nasty until my Mum agreed that you wouldn't kick him out of bed and ruined him for both of us Grin.

Emski I too am blessed with the worlds worst singing voice, Mr W is a fab singer and not bad on all the old guitar, thankfully it looks like S&O may have taken after his side of the family, the jury is out on Anna, she may be a tad screechy like her old mum Blush.

40Weeks · 18/09/2011 21:04

Hello lovely ladies

So glad you are feeling better ledkr I think as soon as I stop bfing I will head to the docs for anti-d's - the anxiety you describe is so familiar. Hope dilly sleeps well to tonight, it's soooo much better when they sleep!

reastie a fire breathing nun? Really? That's the best thing I ever heard of, am going to google it!

ponyo are you all better now, hope so, it's rubbish feeling rubbish when you can't call in sick! What about our wiggles are you feeling ok? Hope you're dosed up. I too hear that cough mixtures are rubbish and steam/Vicks is best

Dh home with Chinese take away, gotta go, hi to everyone I have missed

ledkr · 18/09/2011 21:07

Another baby??????? Are you sure you are not high now? Grin
Thanks for your messages girls,id have seriously never thought this tough old boot would get down.

wiggles I have 2 sisters and we are just the same as you and yours.I remember before ghd's we all used to iron our hair in the kitchen whilst Mum tutted and mumbled Grin
The funniest tho is Sunday lunch when we sit in a row and are either hungover much to her disgust so much head shaking,or all on different diets "no potaoes for me thanks im on atkins" or "dont put butter in the mash Mum" I woiuldnt mind but its her fault we all eat too much, all that over feeding when we were kids.
How is your sis? Mine is annoying cos wants all my stuff but doesnt want it in her house yet-like i do then.

reastie · 18/09/2011 21:16

wiggles I'm a terrible singer too. I'm a bit Blush about going to baby sign language/singing class this week as I know I'll just have to sing and I don't want to make a fool of myself Confused . Usually I get away with sort of mouthing the words and looking like I'm singing but a friend of mine runs the classes and I don't think I'll get away with that this time (although I will forgive her as she is charging us less than half price Grin ). Btw I can picture your family now - very sound of music with mr w on the guitar and O/A/S singing along at his feet looking all cheery and you in the background shredding dancing Wink

I'm another one in the gary barlow gang Grin

ledkr glad the meds are working. I went back to work today to say hello to everyone at their PTA bbq - it was really nice to see everyone except evil ignores from dept head and I had a taste of how I used to be - a real person in my own right and not just a mum. It felt so refreshing and I'm now looking forward to going back to work a little more.

My hormones are driving me crazy - I had ovulation pain over the week end that was worse than any pain my (attempted) induction gave me Shock pesky coil . It also means my dates are dot on for getting my period at the end of my holiday which means mental PMT while away. I've already got it if that's possible I think - really dizzy and clumsy and moody and teary etc.

ponyo poor you :(

reastie · 18/09/2011 21:17

x posted. 40 I think it came from hawkins bazaar but it was a few years ago now

ILovePonyo · 18/09/2011 21:23

Feeling better now but don't mention chinese 40, its what we had before I threw it all up Grin Erm I mean enjoy Grin

ledkr so pleased to hear you're feeling better, you described how I felt re: anxiety and panicky about going out with D, I still feel like it a bit now but think I should 'get through it', hmm. I think I am a bit focused on getting through the next month and a bit and getting back to work which sounds mean but I just hope I;ll appreciate the days with A a bit more.

emski didn't realise you had pnd that bad, at least if you had another baby you'd know what to expect eh Grin Wink Hope N sleeps well for you tonight.

wiggles Grin at your mum and screechy Anna, dd you know modern family series 3 starts on sky this friday (yay!)

I went to my friends tonight for tea and a catch up, had sausage and mash and thats staying down so good news :) dd making a noise on monitor now so better go, sleep well babies!

wigglesrock · 18/09/2011 21:24

ledkr my sister is great, she has her 20 week scan on Tuesday, and is really nervous about it. She hasn't been sick much at all, just the first few weeks but has developed the biggest appetite, she keeps randomly calling at my Mums and demanding food Grin, my Mum of course loves it! I have been keeping stuff for her, she's having my moses basket and I'm not using monitor/steriliser anymore so she can have those, but like you its all in my house still.

She is being a tad precious about things but I have been very restrained and agreeing with all she has said Shock

I went nosying at prams with her this afternoon, emski76 I was almost broody at the sight of all the prams etc Shock.

40Weeks I am starting to feel a bit better, A is well on the mend. I love Vicks, its one of my favourite smells, I know this is a bit weird Grin, but I can't find my stash - Mr W hates the smell and I think he may be hiding it from me!

ILovePonyo · 18/09/2011 21:26

Hey reastie, reassuring about your work, pleased for you. Yuk to ovulation pain, do you take any painkillers? Feel lucky my peroids aren't that bad, bloody hormones :(

reastie · 18/09/2011 21:29

ponyo I took nurofen and sat on the sofa having to breath through the pain like the taught me at an classes Shock All I can say is if this is ovulation pain what on earth is the period pain going to be like Confused

wigglesrock · 18/09/2011 21:31

Ponyo Modern Family and Curb Your Enthusiasm is back too, the tv cup for once runeth over in the Wiggles house.

reastie I wouldn't mind a touch of the Sound of Music, when S was small her and Mr W had a nice line in Smiths and Radiohead duets Grin

ILovePonyo · 18/09/2011 21:32

Sounds horrible reastie you have my sympathy, can only suggest more nurofrn Confused

wiggles I love the smell of Vicks too, lurvely :)

ledkr · 18/09/2011 21:34

I get ov pain too, always have done.
When is everyone back at work then?I was going back in Nov but now cant due to D's op then i thought whats the point of going back in Dec and having to dealith the school hols,so its Jan for me now.Dh or dsil will have the girls which is nice cos i wont have to pack bags etc as all car will take place in the house.Im kind of looking forward to it but not keen on my job so mixed feelings.
I will be glad to have a normal wage tho,dh gave me a bit extra this month and i asked if that was just my shoe budget Grin

ledkr · 18/09/2011 21:35

reastie · 18/09/2011 21:49

ledkr hot bath? I'm back on the last day of term in december

wigglesrock · 18/09/2011 21:54

ledkr I'm back on 7 November, we are busiest in the run up to Christmas so will be knackered but we close from Christmas Day to second/third week of Jan, so will be off for school holidays which is good I think Grin

40Weeks · 18/09/2011 22:00

Another Gary fan here girls, happy to wrestle for him, have a major crush. I have asked for a Head Judge mug for Xmas.

Poor reastie with the cramps, hope it eases up. Hot water bottle?

Don't mention work ledkr I was a contractor so no job to go back to. Great as I don't want to leave Mikey for a second but have to get used to zero spondulees Sad

ledkr · 18/09/2011 22:07

Yes i have taken to shopping in ppppp....rimark,my son works there and lets me know when anything nice is in.
WIGGS sounds sensible to me.I once had to work in a job i hated supporting a naughty boy in school,i stuck it from April to July so id get paid for the school hols,i used to cry on the way to work Sad
I always loved Gary even when he was fat so BACK OFF fairweathered admirers.I have stated a thread in chat about x factor cos im fed up of them taking the piss out of disabled people.
wiggs prom night is on c 5 and it has Idris the gorgeous in it,yum yum yum.

wigglesrock · 18/09/2011 22:22

Many thanks ledkr, God he's such a ride isn't he?

Grannyapple · 18/09/2011 22:32

Evening folks...back from our hols & glad to be back in our own beds! Nate was good while away...tho he wasn't amused at the long car journey either side of the holiday....cried pretty much solidly for an hour & a half o. He way back but we had to make sure we caught the train at Calais...he shut up nice wewerei. The train & had him in the front of the car with us...he loved pretending to drive,so much so that wee old sears in the car. Front came out to speak to him Grin.

Place we stayed at was really chilled...was a mumsnet recommended holiday, so met a few other mn'ers , exchanged details with one lovely Irish lady so we can meet up for a boozy night out...tho she's in Edinburgh & I'm in London but we're hoping we can arrange it at some point! Weirdly tho,the other families were alll Scottish...& majority accountants...but were fairly normal, thankfully Grin.

Sorry to hear about the bugs/d&v/crappy monthlies...I had the cold/flu before we went away so totally sympathise...was horrid but glad it's out f the way...just hoping that's it for this yearHmm

Interesting re nursery/child ar...I'm lucky thatN will go anywhere I out him at the mo...should be interesting when he does his settling in days at nursery next month...for me that is....

Right off to dream feed N....does anyone know when I can drop this feed...is it best to up his feed during the day,as this feed is still forming part of his daily intake??

Grannyapple · 18/09/2011 22:35

Bloody tablet...N cried on the way back home for1.5hours & shut up once we were on the train....grrr...wee old dears in car in front came out to talk to him!

Oh & forgot to say Jane...10 weeks...omg how quickly has that come around?!

reastie · 19/09/2011 07:32

grannyapple I must admit I was reading your post looking like this Confused at first trying to work out what you meant Wink . Isn't it funny the people there were mners from scotland and accountants though Grin

ledkr when you were suffering with the PMT did you have sleeping issues (not Dilly related)? Since the ovulation pain has stopped I've felt so hormonal and last night could not sleep at all. I struggle to sleep alot but never on this scale and it felt really hormoney (if that makes sense). I think maybe I got 4 hours if I was lucky Shock . I am absolutely shattered today. DH is not in my good books - I finally got back to sleep and he rung up as he locked himself out on way to work so now I'm up and awake Angry

janedoe25 · 19/09/2011 07:45

Morning all,

reastie hope the cramps have eased.

granny glad you had a good hol.

ponyo boo for the sickess!

ledkr I am so glad you are feeling more like yourself now.

Shock at the little demolition crew!

I had a nice quiet weekend, 2nd part of friends hen doo, just a night in her house sorting out wedding favours. Yesterday a few of our friends went out for dinner with their babies/toddlers was interesting!

Hope evryone haas a nice day Grin.

janedoe25 · 19/09/2011 07:47

x post reastie I often suffer insomnia with pmt. Hope you have an easy day with Alice.

debka · 19/09/2011 07:52

Morning reastie no advice but lots of sympathy for your non sleeping. Is Alice still asleep? Maybe you could have a hot bath now?

Gosh i go to bed too early, always miss all the chat on here!

grannyapple glad you had a good holiday although the car screaming sounds horrid :( Hope you waved as you drove past!

Am a little bit Envy at you all discussing going back to work, I was a SAHM before so no job to go back to here.

Caught the last 10 mins of xfactor the other night just to have a look at gary barlow and see what you've all been drooling over. Is it just me or was he sitting in e really weird way, sort of side on and very straight? I wouldn't kick him out of bed either Grin

Think I'm coming down with another cold, really hope the girls don't get it.
