Hello all, well something weird is deffo happening with A's sleep, today she has had FOUR naps, one for an hour and a half. Yesterday she had 2 half hour naps Confused She's in bed now but rolling around looking v awake Hmm

reastie A's fave things are remotes and paper, more than once I've had to fish a mushed up bit of paper out of her mouth bad mummy. I always say no when she reaches for the remote and move it away, she always cries Hmm Are there any surestarts near you, ours does a really good singing group for free, most of the other groups are crap but this ones fab. I have no idea what monkey music is btw Grin

ledkr oh dear, think you'll need some of the magic sudocrem on the go soon Grin I'm wondering what the babies will do tonight too, they all seem to have gone a bit wonky with their sleep of late.

wiggles glad appt was ok. Let us know the leg measurement, might add A's too just to join in! Grin

Right its taken me ages to write this as dd keeps booing and I've had to put her dummy in a few times, off to have my tea now which dp has made, healthy soup yum with bread and butter

40Weeks · 12/09/2011 20:13

Evening all

Grin at leg measuring. We could resurrect toilet paper Tuesday but for the babies!

How is your bott now ledkr hope it's passed. M also sleeps on his front, has done for ages, I just leave him, looks so cosy.

Great news re the nursery xpat must be a relief, and cheaper to boot, result.

M didn't sleep through last night, god knows what wakes him, he stuffs his face all day long.
Thanks for the link ponyo hadn't got as far as DB though, not sure I want to know! Had to giggle at Gino di campo taking all his clothes off for a poo!

ledkr · 12/09/2011 20:15

Dilly has done the same thing 3 nights,i cant seem to keep her going past 6 so i bath her and she screams so i get her out,she screams whilst i dress her and make her bottle, takes bottle all sleepy but then wakes up and wont go back down untill about 8 and we force the issue.
She ate a really big dinner tho, yesterdays roast which she loved,i have never seen her eat so much,it had been ages since her last bottle so i know what to do now.
Ill measure Dillys; legs tomorrow reastie you bloody weirdo .

Its still there folks,i had to eat i was so hungry so there is spag bol in there now im dreading it. Hmm

chocoroo · 12/09/2011 20:34

Evening!

Had a quick flick through your busy weekends but have forgotten half of it!

Ugh to feeling icky ledkr I hope D gives you a peaceful evening.

40 I have t got as far as the DB bit either. I refuse to read it, I don't believe he is a cheater I get quite adamant about it.

ponyo Another paper eater here. Turning into a nightmare now she's crawling as I'm renowned for leaving weekend papers around until Thursday.

reastie I'll try and measure R tomorrow too. Although I'm not sure where tape measure is so it might be with a 15cm ruler :) Haven't done a music class, but I doubt one at nap time is ideal. I imagine he's fairly settled into napping at that time now.

wiggles Sounds like A was good value at hospital. I reckon they'd have noticed by now if there really was anything wrong.

Jane hope you haven't blown away. Mega windy here too.

American Yay for cheaper nursery. My head spins when I think how much ours costs!

Fairly quiet day here. r is sleeping a bit better after last weeks shenanigans. She's eating loads now - big portions, hope I don't make her fat! She's almost dropped a milk feed too so have to figure that one out.

Anyone else with crawlers finding it exhausting now? Every time I turn my back she's at something she shouldn't be!

wigglesrock · 12/09/2011 20:48

reastie I will try and pin her down and get a measurement Grin, I thought she was long but the Shock from the various midwives, GPs etc has made me more aware of it!!

Anna is also a remote control fiend, I have snarled at Mr W a few times over it, as he takes out the batteries of one and gives it to her, he's a real soft touch. I told him that she is not allowed them, but I'm an evil Mummy especially as I aaahed her about hair pulling the other day. He's suffering from a touch of the precious third borness.

We have booked our hotel in Paris for December, tres exciting!!!

ledkr · 12/09/2011 21:37

I read the db bit and im not surprised, she is a miserable cow and when he cheated with loos instead of saying anything she grinned like a cheshire cat and hung onto him for dear life, not my kind of woman really. I hate her smugness too and why does she carry that new baby everywhere, you'd think they could stretch to a bugaboo wouldnt you? Grin

reastie · 13/09/2011 07:25

Right well I've attempted to measure Alices leg Blush . Her inside leg (with napp on but as close to the actual skin I can manage was 22cm Hmm . I'm wondering how this compares Grin

btw where is puss and irishqueen ?

hubbard give us the christening goss please Grin

ILovePonyo · 13/09/2011 10:07

I havn't managed to measure yet reastie but will do soon! I was wondering about puss and irishq too, and suzy, and others. Sure they'll find the new thread easily enough Grin

Well dd had a pretty good sleep, was awake a bit at 4 and then 5 but just kept putting dummy in. Then she woke up at 6.45 Shock Obv all the sleep yesterday didn't make a difference/could have been a good thing.

ledkr agree re:VB, skinny sour face, she just doesn't look fun does she?! Hows 'things' today? Grin

wiggles great news about Paris, will be lovely! How long are you going for?

choco I'm the same with the weekend papers! dd isn't even crawling yet, just rolling which is already knackering, don't want to think about crawling yet...

Right she's awake, better go, she has on some v cute leggings today from Boots which were in the 3 for2 baby event, I got some Soap and Glory stuff for me but ended up spending just as much on her Hmm Grin

ledkr · 13/09/2011 10:23

choc I dont stop now D is crawling,im hoping this weight will come off now, even a t toddler group she cant stick to the designated baby area and goes off exploring but is a bit risky underfoot of the toddlers.

Ahem-things seem settled but i have taken imodium so not sure what to think. Dh got up with D at 7 to give me a "lie in" he had one yesterday which involved me doing it all and him laying in bed till 11.
Mine involved him coming up at 8 for advice about breakfast and Ella coming in at 8.30 crying about her lost swimming hat.

Get thyselves back to the sleb thread the Jimmy Saville stuff is truly terrible.

Is anyone tempted by the big xmas meet up? Im still a maybe but its abit close to D'd op.Perhaps we should try and do one amongst ourselves, but im very tempted, they are funny apparently.

MizK · 13/09/2011 12:31

wiggles glad appointment went OK :)

ledkr I know exactly what you mean re lie ins! My fave is when DP brings me a cup of tea on a Saturday at like half 8 and expects me to be grateful? It's like - honestly? Take your sad little wake up tea away and let me sleep dammit!
Urgh Jimmy Saville? I don't think I dare look! Esp if its anything (whispers) sexual......

As for eating paper - Cass had a box of tampons strewn everywhere yesterday and was sucking merrily on the plastic wrappers. I'll take my Worst Mother crown and sash now please.

oooh ponyo I seem to remember that Anya is in 3-6 months clothes? If so I have a bag of clothes you are v welcome to - can bring along Thurs? Won't be offended if you don't want them of course :)

V loose-endish today - we went to baby music earler, the house is tidy and Cass is napping. Trying to distract myself on here so I don't go fridge raiding!

wigglesrock · 13/09/2011 12:35

reastie Haven't done inside, only outside due to wriggling and flipping over but will try and get it later - outside is 36cms to ankle Shock

janedoe25 · 13/09/2011 13:18

I am Grin at the baby leg measurments!

Wow wiggles sounds like A has longer legs than me! ( i have freakishly short legs, even short leg trousers have to be taken up)

ledkr I read the jimmy saville stuff, I was Shock.

Much excitment about Paris wiggles, how long are you going for?

Weather still shit here, Zoe's tree is fine. The wheelie bins and my back fence/gate are a different story however!

wigglesrock · 13/09/2011 13:23

We are going for 2 whole nights Grin and 3 days in early December. Good news about the tree Jane. Mr W lost his front number plate yesterday Shock Wind has actually got worse her in the past hour!!!

Am going to investigate As legs more when she's woken up Grin Jimmy Saville gives me the heebie jeebies at the best of times [bleurgh]

reastie · 13/09/2011 13:39

wiggles I just measured alices outer leg measurements and 36 cms goes beyond her tummy button Shock

reastie · 13/09/2011 13:43

alice just said her first word - it was Al Gore Hmm Grin she's also panting like a dog when she gets excited - tis tres sweet Grin

WeAreBorg · 13/09/2011 14:17

Well bizarrely Nate is sleeping brilliantly, I left him outside in his pushchair in the howling gale with next doors alarm going off and he's out for the count Confused

I'll do his legs when he wakes up, this is strangely interesting reastie. I forgot to say, we went to jingle babies (jo jingles) this morning which I know wiggles hated, and it is very naff but N loves it for some strange reason.

ledkr keep the bowel watch updates coming.

wiggs wow, how exciting for paris, sounds lovely

mizk Nate is a tampon fan, they seem to be just the right shape for passing about and inspecting, and sound all crinkly (with wrappers on obv).

choc that is precisely why tummy time was banned here, as I am lazy and wanted an immobile baby for as long as possible. N rolled about twice at 4 months then only just started again last week, and is now all over the place and wriggling along backwards very quickly. I am quite proud (I don't know why, it's what babies do!) yet gutted so will be tying his legs together

WeAreBorg · 13/09/2011 14:19

Grin at al gore. Whoops it's actually chucking it down, and he's still outside better get him

WeAreBorg · 13/09/2011 14:55

WTF wiggles Nates inside leg is about 22/23cm too. 36!

ledkr not sure about MN meetups but would like to meet you lot. I'm oop north though, so a bit out of the way

ledkr · 13/09/2011 16:47

Im wondering wher you lot keep your tampons!
borg shame really innit,we may never see each other some of us.
I actually want to kill Jimmy Saville now,did anyone read the link to the have i got news for you transcript?
A sodding massive spider has just run under my fireplace and now i cant relax as dh is off to pics later, the recent escalation of arachnic friends have re ignited my phobia,i have always felt safe on my sofa untill the other day when one was sat on the back of it right by dh's shoulder!!!!

Dilly is eating woooo! She had some carrots in her pooh so i know she is. She had spag bol for lunch which was hilarious. She also likes min i cheddars.

I have had a better day.I have manged to retain some toast and tea and then 2 morning coffee biscuits.
I went shopping earlier and bought some peanut m and ms to eat when dh is out,i figured its 2 days worth of syns Grin

So glad about Zoes tree, its stood up before hasnt it?

ILovePonyo · 13/09/2011 16:55

What on earth wiggles dd's inside leg is 22cms, outside 25cms (ish, v wriggly). Anna long legs! I just looked at your photos again to nosy at A's legs, and the one with all 3 girls on their tummies I think its S's leg looks like it could belong to A, v long indeed!

Borg how far oop north are you?

reastie Grin Al Gore, she's a clever one!

MizK yes please to baby clothes! Thank you, shame I can't return the favour unless C stops growing. Ooh, or you have another one Wink

ledkr I think I'm a bit too shy for xmas meet up Blush (yes really) but if we managed to arrange one somehow that would be fab. Or maybe in January as Dec is always busy but Jan is always a slow month isn't it?

jane glad Z's tree is ok, its windy here so dread to think what its like where you are!

I have managed 2 walks today total 1 and a half hours, need to keep this up! Isn't it funny how you exercise for only a few days but expect to see results by now, I keep feeling disappointed when I don't look any thinner Grin

ILovePonyo · 13/09/2011 16:57

ledkr yay for Dilly! Saw the transcript, JS what a creep, another reason for me to love Paul Merton too. Did you speak to hospital about D's op btw?

wigglesrock · 13/09/2011 17:28

Still haven't done inside of the 50 foot womans leg, bit crazy here, we are off to next doors for little boys first birthday party, and have been trying to keep an eye on Sofias' homework. She has been identifying nouns in sentences Shock, she's doing better than me Grin

Even though I'm shredding, I'm just eating like a mad thing, Mr W went to pick some wine bits and pieces up from Tescos and he bought a big tin of Roses, I can't decide if I'm really pleased or pissed off at him Grin

ledkr glad you're a bit more solid Grin

reastie Grin at Al Gore, allegedly he's a bit of a dirty dick too Shock

Right off to shepherd the girls next door, see you later

chocoroo · 13/09/2011 17:37

Hello!

Just a quick hello as I'm feeling pants today - achy and feverish. R seems ok though. I'm due my period so I wonder if it's to do with that, I just feel pants!

wiggles Have tried to measure DD's legs and I think her outside leg was about 28. Not a chance of doing inside as she tried to steal tape measure.

Well done on walks ponyo I went to buggy fit this morning, thinking it'd either kill or cure me. It killed me. Had to come home half way through.

Borg Good tip on tying legs together....I have some spare tape somewhere I'm sure...

ledkr We have had some beasty spiders. They don't usually bother me but these have been huge. Scary.

Right. Better go as DD is chewing the wine rack again....

tadjennyp · 13/09/2011 18:37

Hello, have to stop lurking! I spent all day yesterday reading the sleb thread! Glad most things have survived the coat tails of the hurricane. It's gradually beginning to cool down here (only 30C today Grin Blush ) so hopefully S will start sleeping through the night again. I think he's waking up because he's so thirsty [hopeful emoticon]

I loved Anna's coat. It looks so warm and toasty. Just right for keeping the wind off.

Glad you are feeling a bit better ledkr. It's so hard to keep going if you have to plan your route taking loos into account all the time.

Don't worry reastie - S has short inside legs of about 24 cm but is 75cm overall! He completely fills his 6-9 months clothes body wise!

Dh was ill over the weekend so was completely lazy round the house and with the kids. I could really do with a full night's sleep now!

We have black widow spiders here. I've never seen one but am warier of spiders now as they are quite venomous.

Hope tea time and bathtime is going well.

reastie · 13/09/2011 19:15

will reply proper later but will someone please please link me here the transcript thet speak of on celeb thread? cant find the link on the thread and it's driving me mad not seeing what all the fuss is about
