it appears I posted the last post... so here's a new thread

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would LOVE to play that game.

I have taken all of your opinions into account and have decided on reflection to go for the ... black. Hmm The cincer(sp) was DH looking at them for first time when I asked for his opinion and saying "I ain't wearing that!" I figured if he was likely to wear any it would be the black (he agreed) He did wear the (black) baby bjorn quite a lot to his credit. I am sooo excited, am off to order it now, can't wait to get it!!

Honeymoonmummy · 05/04/2011 14:23

Thats ok pistachio, I would have ignored what you said and gone
for black anyway. How bizarre re DD!

DS has been cluster feeding ALL DAY, crying whenever I've stopped, and he's blatantly knackered but has hardly slept, it's been like the good old days with Poppy Hmm Thank God for lansinoh!

He just finished so I'm gonna try to settle him and get some sleep

Honeymoonmummy · 05/04/2011 22:16

Oh and first day without DH tmrw, PIL coming round to keep me
company

Honeymoonmummy · 06/04/2011 11:14

[dusts cobwebs in corner of thread]

pepperrabbit · 06/04/2011 12:25

How's it going today HMM?
I would be online, but I've been outside with my laundry baskets!

pepperrabbit · 06/04/2011 12:33

My CM has just rung to say DD is all droopy - she had the sicky bug on Sat, was fine sun/mon and then was whingy/coughing/not eating yesterday but seemed much better this morning. I pick her up at 1pm so not a crisis, but we'll miss her last music session this fternoon now, as I NEED her to sleep and be well for me to go to work tomorrow.
Gah! I hate this Wed but where I wait in trepidation for one of them to keel over and create chaos with my working "life". You can just tell that they think at work that i should really be able to manage 2 days in a row without domestic incident... but then everyone else I work with is childless or "daddy". Angry

Honeymoonmummy · 06/04/2011 14:45

Oh no Pepper, I hope DD feels better soon Sad You just have to have different priorities don't you, am sure the dads at your work understand, and am sure they not thinking badly of you as you imagine.

I'm doing ok, sent PIL home in fact. Currently BF in my bedroom while DD makes little pretense of not trying to go to sleep in her room ... I can hear her singing and banging drawers ... God knows what a mess it will be in by the time I get in there Hmm

StarExpat · 06/04/2011 15:31

:( I hope DD is better soon, pepper.

HMM good for you, doing so well! Does Poppy not sleep anymore?

Q is getting a molar (no clue which one? I haven't put my hands in there in ages as he may bite and he won't say "ahhh"). He's drooling and has a red hot cheek and ear. And he keeps saying "there's something in my mouth" and swishing his tongue back there.

Coconutfeet · 06/04/2011 21:20

Just popping in to mark my place.

Pepper - It's the curse of working part time as well isn't it. I hate having to take time off for myself or S as I feel like people feel like I'm hardly there already. I hope dd's feeling better soon.

I hope everyone else is OK!

Honeymoonmummy · 07/04/2011 16:17

Yes she sleeps but sometimes not immediately on my leaving her!

DS has blistered upper lip and bottom lip dry too. Can I give him anything for this?

StarExpat · 07/04/2011 17:36

Petroleum jelly/Vaseline? Poor little guy :(

Lansinoh was my first thought too, thanks guys. Dunno if just milk blister, MW is coming 16 mins ago so will ask her

Honeymoonmummy · 08/04/2011 11:49

DH, pops, DS and I went for our first walk yesterday Smile just went to dog walking field down the road but it was nice. Yesterday was the first day I have felt totally 'normal' on the stitches front, even went in a softplay area with Poppy yesterday morning! Stomach hurt a bit when walking tho ... Hmm

Gorgeous weather here, unfortunately pops has a dentist appt at 3.30 just to mess up the day! Hope everyone else has beautiful weather and a good day Smile

ronshar · 08/04/2011 11:50

Ditto too. Smile

House of green bogies here. Not nice. Everywhere I look there are tissues and dried snot.
I would like to go back to work so I can get cleaner.

Honeymoonmummy · 08/04/2011 11:51

Sorry for multiple posts! Star, how are Qs teeth now? Perhaps u could make him some ice lollies with diluted fruit juice to soothe pain?

Honeymoonmummy · 08/04/2011 11:54

X-posts Ronshar. I'll swap you some green bogies for some korma poo if you like? Grin hope the ronshar household feels less mucousy soon.

Honeymoonmummy · 08/04/2011 11:57

[Gah. Must pause before posting] and thanks ronshar for the salt tip, definitely helped, I alternated that with putting some tea tree oil in bath. Smile
