Afternoon ladies,
Evitas- good luck for whichever result you want.

In car enroute to airport- off to mexico for two weeks of sun, sea and chasing a rascal along the sand ;-)

Just had rascals 12 mth check up. All seemed fine, weighed 22lb 12. Approx 75th percentile- not that it matters in the slightest. He is very tall so probably about right. Just as DALRYMPS gorgeous small monkey is perfectly formed just of the dinky variety. ;-)

Right off to enjoy the peaceful car ride while DS hopefully sleeps. See you all soon x

Arcadie · 18/01/2011 13:20

evitas Do post back - I love a good "finding out I'm pregnant" story. Grin

Smac if Squiggly's right and it is Get Rid of My Tummy then do shout out how!

Dalrymps Simoen is noticeabley smaller than most babies his age and younger - I really wouldn't worry if he's otherwise healthy.

DS1 enjoying school still.
DD pushing boundaries and discovering they don't move unless mummy is super tired

Simeon has managed to sleep through the night twice this week. I DO SO hope this is the sign of things to come.

Watched OBEM last night with Melk at the other end of a text conversation. Such a lot of fun predicating how each birth will pan out, commenting on uselessness of birth partners and deciding that birth is great and is to be enjoyed (as long as you're watching it, not going through it!)

And project Davina continues apace. Have lost a half stone, but that's just Christmas weight. The other three stone few pounds will take a little longer than a fortnight I fear!

Have a brilliant time in Mexico scooby, and bring some sunshine back for the rest of us :)

evitas excited/nervous for you! Hope you're happy with the result (and we're here to support you, either way).

Another vote for Get Rid of My Tummy, not that I'm assuming Smac has a tummy to get rid of.

Pixie did you see DD2's consultant? I think you said you were going yesterday. You and DD2 will be in my thoughts tomorrow, and I'll keep everything crossed for her getting home.

BusyMissIzzy · 18/01/2011 13:34

Well done on the weightloss Arcadie, that's fab! :)

evitas · 18/01/2011 13:58

Thank you ladies :)

I would love to get pregnant again this year, but after I finish my PhD!Otherwise it will be the never ending story. Being pregnant now wouldn't be ideal... but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I'll keep you posted

slimmingsarahandco · 18/01/2011 15:42

hi ladies,

thanks for my birthday messages, had a fab day, and evening, tobboganning at the snowdome in tamworth, then back home for curry and lots of wine :) pics can be seen on FB!

Scooby have a great time in mexico-

Arcadie WD on weight loss, go you!i feel your pain with DD testing the boundaries!!!!!

Pixie, shame about the stair lift man, always good to have a good ogle- no fum if they are not pretty,

How is DD2 doing?

waves to everyone else, off to sort something for dinner before work- grrrr

PacificDogwood · 18/01/2011 16:52

Test, test, test, test, 'cmon evitas, you know you want have to!!

Oh, I love the excitement of it all Grin. Have I told you all, that I have still not thrown the + test I had when I found out I was expecting Joe out? Blush. (Also, grammar police, please don't shoot me for that sentence..)

AfriBaby · 18/01/2011 16:58

I heart the March Tens.

I think I say this about every second post (and I don't post often at all) but I find it amazing how often I find answers to questions that are bugging me on here...e.g. ickle babies whose weight gain has slowed down. Check. Very impressed with those of you tackling the baby weight - i have a proper wobbly mummy tummy that DD likes to fall onto/into and blow raspberries on. She clearly finds it hilarious how you can poke it and just "bounces back". Ha!

AfriBaby · 18/01/2011 17:00

oh and....TEST evitas

can't believe the second round is already on its way. slightly Envy

BusyMissIzzy · 18/01/2011 17:04

Eww Pacific, 18 month old pee Grin

PacificDogwood · 18/01/2011 17:10

Like I said: Blush

Grin

You should have seen DH's face when I waved it at him the uther day...

evitas · 18/01/2011 18:06

Negative! :) and :(

scooby26 · 18/01/2011 18:18

Evitas- do be it. As you said, you'd rather it later in the year so maybe wasn't meant to be. Plus if your nit due til end of the week it's not absolutely no ;-) x

Arcadie · 18/01/2011 18:45

PD I still have the 3 tests I did for each of my DCs. I feel no shame!

PacificDogwood · 18/01/2011 19:08

Nor do I, really, Arcadie Grin...

Evitas, I hope this is the result you secretely wanted. The year is still loooooming ahead of us - plenty of time yet Smile.

Ah everything happens for a reason Evitas, hope it happens at the perfect time for you x

I also have both positive tests from Dylan and Miles

scooby26 · 18/01/2011 19:55

Yay PIXIE. Finally!!! Been a long wait for you all. You'll take oxygen in your stride like everything else! Xx

MandaHugNKiss · 18/01/2011 20:27

I have one test from James and currently have six from 10dpo to 18dpo all getting darker and darker (the last two at 16 and 18dpo the test line is much darker than the control!) from this bean.

Wee? Oh, no, that evaporated, surely? Oh, anyway they have lids on!

Feeling a bit icky today. Wishing I was back to feeling fine already!

And evitas, it could still be too early, especially if it wasn't an 'early result' test and, well, you didn't use the first wee of the day (did you hold for at least four hours?)

But if you're not, all the better to plan the ideal time, right?

MandaHugNKiss · 18/01/2011 20:29

Oh and fab news, pixie! Well, not so fab that she'll still be needing oxygen but hopefully her recovery will speed up at home and it'l be a temporary measure?
