I knew I wasn't the only loo lurker.
Sariska, who won the work argument? We have those
.
Happy birthday all the MM Babies thus far and to the Mad mummies as well (I mean Melk, not Missp, who although clearly certifiable after her driving comment, is not a Birthday Girl as far as I know).
Feeding : is there an independence assertion at this age? Alex likes food (he eats what we/his sister eat, but that's informed by his needs so minimal salt and hold the chillies) but he has to do it himself. This is fine if he uses his hands, not so fine with the fork or spoon he wants to use. The MESS! But sometimes it's not just easier to go with what they want, I reckon, but it's also better if you see what I mean.
Climbing: check. Well, as much as he can given huge stomach lack of mobility. They're all different though, aren't they?
Donttry, how did you stop yourself from slapping that mum? Honestly. I am very proud of DD's speech (sometimes I wish she wasn't as articulate as she is, but that's 4 year olds for you) but a) I somehow manage to resist showing off about my amazing parenting to total strangers (although obviously not to you lot [self-mocking]
)and b) it had nothing to do with me because I was back at work full time when she was six months old. Sorry, small rant, the majority of people do their very best to raise their children well, whether they stay at home or go out to work, so I find that kind of comment irritating at best. (Legal disclaimer: the use of violence in this post is metaphorical only. Children should not reenact scenes from this post)
Pixie: SEVENTY!!!!!!!!!!
Smac, yay on the bf.
Alex has a chest infection poor baby, so last week wasn't fun. Add MMR side effects and 4 molars ( at least I think there's all 4, fingers in the mouth is dangerous and somehow he always manages to cry in a way that means I can't see them) on their way through and no wonder he's grumpy.
Pacific, good luck tomorrow.
For those who are concerned at the size of this post I am not in the loo but standing in the station car park!
