The really depressing thing is, if nos 10 and 11 Downing Street had been vacant for the past five weeks, with treasury officials and civil servants holding the fort, and Larry sleeping in Lizzie's chair, the country and its finances would be in a far better state than it is right now. And that's mind-boggling.

She really didn't look right. All that blinking, blank stare, fixed smile/grimace. Sneaking in and sneaking out again without saying a single word. All quite odd.
