With all this talk of billions of pounds which we are supposed to owe if we leave and talk of continuing to pay after we leave, I am in the dark. If we walk away with no deal will we pay anything like the amounts talked about? If we are able to do that surely the EU will be big losers as well as us! I am at a loss. Grateful for your input as I am bewildered. I voted to remain but must say the shenanigans being played by the EU are showing them as more like the Mafia than a democratic institution.

Fact, we voted to leave.
Fact we will be leaving in March 2019.
Fact 27 countries will have to agree to any deal.

It's malevolent too. A really nasty vibe. Just ignore.

Fact: only 52% of the voters voted to leave the EU nearly 2 years ago now. Nothing is saying it’s representative of how people feel NOW (because the margin was very small, because the campaign was based in lies that have to light in the last two years, because people can now see te detrimental effect it has 8n their life’s, even though we have t actually left...)

Fact: the referendum never said what sort of Brexit people wanted. For what we know, people might well have voted for a very soft Brexit. They never voted for a hard Brexit and a life edge.

Fact: as far as I can understand, it is totally possible to do a U turn and cancel the Art59 and nit leave the EU

Fact: the EU 27 do not have to agree to a deal at all. Actually they will NOT agree to a deal that out their core principles in jeopardy.
Fwiw I dint think the EU is looking forward to the disruption of the EU leaving but even with a ‘soft’ Brexit
. But I suspect t that some countries are quite happy to finally be able to get in with their own agenda, agenda that had been stifled by the U.K. for years.....

The 27 do not have to agree. They just don’t.
